Family-friendly holiday rentals in Alphen-Chaam

Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

Nice weekend house with plenty of space for up to 8 people. It was our 2nd stay. Steep staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms. The garden was a bit unkempt und would be more accomodating following some gardening.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

Authentic farmhouse with a beautiful garden with various seating areas and a cabin for the later hours. BBQ, trampoline, hot tub (not used) and a campfire area. Ideal for friends and family weekend at the same time. Certainly not cheap, but if you make full use of it with 8 people then it is fair. In the wide area cycling along the Maas is a must. We made a Solex tour from Herpen (boerensolex) recommended by Tom. Golden tip. Furthermore, the Militraks museum visited a 35-minute drive away.

We love everything about this place.

We had a great work at this home with our group of friends. There was enough space for a large group, it was quiet and clean, and the hot tub was a big plus. The beds were fine, but some soft mattresses.

The stay is very nicely decorated with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Nice base from which to see the many sights of beautiful Brabant. Petra and Cees are lovely people who welcome you very warmly upon your arrival.

We enjoyed it very much. The house is located in a tiny and very quiet village, where there are super nice walks and bike paths. It is about 50 minutes to Antwerp and to the sea. The place is very nice. There's everything you need. Unfortunately, the ceilings are quite low and there are several beams where you can bump your head if you are not careful. It happened to us twice after getting up. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the sunsets on the water. This is where you can switch off.

Very nice house with great garden. We were here with a group of friends and were able to enjoy the area, also thanks to renting bikes through Joost. Also close to Den Bosch so everything was nearby. Absolutely recommended!

Ingrid's accommodation at Wagenberg is beautiful. Not least because of Ingrid's loving hospitality. She really makes a great effort and is happy about the guests. We had a great bachelorette party here and a very nice tapas evening at sunset :) The warmest recommendations are given.

We had a wonderful stay with our two children. The property was beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable—lots of space for the kids to run around in the huge yard in the back. The hosts were friendly and helpful in acquiring wood for the fire. There are many great restaurants in the area to enjoy if you don't feel like cooking, but the kitchen is well-equipped if you decide to cook. Perfect place to get away with the family!

Pleasant cottage and good communication with the host

we were there over the weekend. we had the whole place to ourselves and it was very private. the rooms are clean, plenty of towels at our disposal and other necessary stuff are available. the swimming pool is amazing. big and also deep. we would've wished the pool was heated. a big thank you to the host, Marie Lou and her friend Anne Marie for being very responsive and answering all my questions and most importantly being very flexible! will definitely come back again to it and very recommended

A great place to stay for a few days of time out by the sea with our children (2 and 4). Very cozy and well furnished. The nights can still be a bit colder, but as soon as the sun shines on it, it is super hot. Very nice playground, great restaurant, great communication. We'd love to come back.... if the pool is open 😉

The equipment of the apartment is high quality and impeccably clean. Ellen was easy to reach and very friendly. It was a dream stay. We can only recommend it.
