Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alnwick

Absolutely loved our time at Sea View. Stunning location, John is extremely helpful and the property has everything you could possibly need available and to a high standard. We will definitely look to return.

We’ve just had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Selby Cottage. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 5. All the rooms were really clean and we were greeted with fresh flowers, biscuits and milk in the fridge (along with a bottle of wine) on arrival. The location is perfect for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding areas. We could easily walk to Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle. We also walked into Alnwick for our evening meals. We enjoyed a day in Bamburgh which is just a short drive away. Karen answered all our questions prior to arrival. We would thoroughly recommend this host. Rebecca and Ben (plus 3 children)

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Lisa's place in Alnwick was really a home from home for us. Lisa had thought of everything you might need when staying away from home and provided it. The location is great, close to the town centre and all its amenities. The house is bright, airy and comfortable for 4-5 people, the conservatory looking out onto the garden is an added bonus.

It is a really nice place to stay, lovely private garden and watching the birds on the bird feeder was amazing, I counted over 10 different species! The beds & pillows were excellent and my daughter & I slept really well. Excellent Airbnb

The accommodation was large and airy - we didn't actually use the second sitting room. Although two of the bedrooms were street side, the shutters kept any traffic noise at bay and it was so easy to walk into the centre or go to the castle or parks - great location. Parking was easy and the neighbours very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed for a lovely stay and the beds were very comfy! There were even plenty of games and dvd's for a rainy day. When we did have a problem with the lock box, Yvonne was straight there to sort it out.

We loved our stay, beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. So many brilliant places so close by. Everything we could have needed was in the cottage, felt right at home. Couldn’t recommend enough, thankyou!

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Really nice apartment for a few days away. On a street right in the middle of town, so restaurants and the Abbey are practically on the doorstep, but it was also quiet. Easy to find and to get in. Lovely flat with all the facilities you need for cooking, etc.

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

A lovely, spacious apartment with lovely bees across to Warkworth castle. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It’s in a great location for walking into Amble and exploring the southern part of Northumberland.

We LOVED staying here! It’s a beautiful home (even bigger than it looks in the pictures) next to a great local pub and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Adrian was super helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had a fab stay. 10/10!

We stayed here with our two young children for two nights, and we had a great time. A nice, peaceful site, which helped us to relax. The lodge had everything we needed and we would definitely return. Great location within easy reach of the castles and beaches.

This place was just what we wanted, a beautiful sea view and outstanding facilities. We didn’t want to leave and would recommend this treasure of a place to anyone wanting to get away from it all but with great places to visit locally.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.
