I had a lovely time in John's place. The apartment is in a great location in the old time. It was easy to walk everywhere, and had a stunning view of the sea. John was a great host. He was very communicative and helpful, and provided lots of recommendations for food and activities to enjoy in Chania. I came for a friend's wedding and so was in and out a lot throughout the weekend, and had a very easy time coming in and out late at night.

Abbiamo soggiornato le prime due settimane di ottobre e non posso che fare una recensione super positiva di questo posto. Casa molto bella e accogliente, con una vista mare meravigliosa, non puoi non svegliarti bene! Posizione ottima per raggiungere varie mete in macchina, oltre che ad essere a soli 20 minuti di macchina da Chania. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla bontà e dalla gentilezza dell’host, mamma di Gorgios, una persona davvero di cuore e molto disponibile. Ci tengo a dare un consiglio a chi andrà in futuro in uno di questi appartamenti : di avere cura dei gattini che girano lì, sono dolcissimi e una carezza in più fa per loro la differenza ♥️ Noi tutte le sere gli davamo da mangiare delle scatolette di carne. Non potendoli salvare tutti, nel nostro piccolo si puo’ fare la cosa più giusta per loro!

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub Die Ferienwohnung war super gemütlich mit tollem Meerblick. Manolis war immer verfügbar und hatte hilfreiche Tips Strand mit Schatten in 2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nette Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Nach Chania zum venezianischen Schafen läuft man in 15-20 Minuten

Manolis was a wonderful host. It was so nice meeting him at checkin. He had stocked the kitchen with snacks and beverages including a bottle of wine. The AirBNB is spectacular. The location was perfect for us being on the harbor but not in the busiest section of the port and was so nice to just walk downstairs to numerous options for dining, shopping, and walking to 2 local beaches. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio. We hated to leave as it was such a lovely relaxing spot. Would highly recommend this AirBNB and Manolis was the best host.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Meer! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer ist ein Traum. Die Küche hatte eine Basic Ausstattung. Es gibt sogar einen Zimmerservice, der alle paar Tage die Handtücher austauscht, Müll entsorgt und sauber macht. Der Strandabschnitt ist recht ruhig und an den meisten Tagen waren wir fast allein dort. Man kann dort auch gut schnorcheln, wenn man mag. In der Nähe befinden sich zwei Tavernen, die uns beide sehr gefallen haben. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und würden dies auch empfehlen. Der einzige Manko ist die Straße. Man hört sie aber nicht sehr stark unten am Meer und mit geschlossenem Fenster konnte man gut schlafen. Wir haben es beide nicht als wirklich störend wahrgenommen. Das schöne Grundstück und die Lage machen es definitiv wett. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

This is a very special apartment that has a view like no other. It’s the perfect home base to explore Chania and the region. I especially enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. There are many green grocers and farmer’s markets to procure the best Cretan produce and enjoying your meals with that incredible view. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and John is a superb host. He is not only thoughtful, he’s very proactive. The best experience I’ve had with Airbnb. He should be called a super, super host!

פאני היא אישה מקסימה והבית היה נוח ומפנק רגע מים נפלא. היו משחקים מוכנים לילדים וכל דבר שצריך לבישול. היי נו שתי משפחות ארבעה מבוגרים שלושה ילדים ושתי תינוקות והיה לנו הכי נוח. פאני דאגה להכל והעיירה הייתה נוחה עם מסעדות טובות וחנות יין קטנה עם הענבים מקומיים. מאוד מאוד ממליצה 🩷

Just back from 10 amazing days at Casa del Mar - an oasis of peace and quiet, from wherever you're coming from. The house sits atop a hill, with the most wonderful views across the sea to an island and the rest of the Cretan mainland. That view was the backdrop to many meals, family conversations, and fun-filled evenings. The house is large, with plenty of room for the 8 of us who stayed there. Great facilities throughout, with AC, 4 clean bathrooms, and two kitchens. We used the outdoor grill one evening to make BBQ and it worked well (charcoal). The infinity pool was another meeting place throughout the week. Deep, clean, and with that same incredible view, we spent a LOT of time in it. The family also enjoyed a very unique aspect to this house - direct access to the sea from the path that winds down from the house. We spent hours snorkeling here, up and down the coast, and saw a large number of fish and other sea life. Overall, an oasis of calm. Run, don't walk!

This house is absolutely stunning! It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. The view took our breath away every morning ! The house is about 10 minutes from Kissamos which is the small town where we bought food to cook at home. I do advise renting a car to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. The host, Ria, was incredibly communicative prior to our arrival and just as accommodating once we got there. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until almost midnight. She was so kind to provide us with food and coffee for breakfast as well as some olive oil made from her family’s business. Ria was so welcoming and helpful! We felt very safe and at peace in the house (we visited with our 3 children who are 7, 10, and 11). This was by far our favorite vacation and we look forward to returning! We highly recommend! 🙌🏻

Incroyable pépite les pieds dans l’eau… le plus difficile est de quitter la maison de Manolis pour aller découvrir les autres merveilles des environs…! Un accueil très chaleureux, de nombreuses petites attentions qui rendent l’arrivée très agréable et un départ tout aussi touchant. Ce Airbnb est certainement celui qui a pris la première place dans mon cœur et le restera longtemps !!

Villa Celestine is sensational! I can't recommend it enough. The villa is amazing and has all mod cons and luxury features. The views from the middle and top floors are second to none - right on the beach over looping the sea and the habour. The area is beautiful, Kolymbari is the perfect sleepy little seaside village, with plenty of restaurants, gift shops, taxis and waterparks nearby. But the best part was the team of Christina, George and everyone nearby that helped with everything we needed. The service was excellent, i'd say perfect!

We had a glorious two weeks at Niko's place. For the first time at AirBNB it felt like we're were guests at a friends home. All of the promised essentials were provided in generous quantities - Niko's home grown fruit and veg were a particular treat and provided in such generous quantities that we couldn't eat them all. The place is simple but with all the equipment that you could need. The terrace a delight to enjoy the sun and the bathing spot a treat. Niko has landscaped a most wonderful extended garden which made the whole property just beautiful!

This place was wonderful. Most outstanding was the hospitality from our hosts; Artemis, Tasoula, Giorg, and Dimitris, all whom helped us with check-in or questions or help we needed. We were greeted with a warm welcome, some delicious food and a wonderful home. The place is clean and perfect for a beach location. The beach is beautiful and quiet and has a few restaurants near for food. there is a small mini market though it doesnt cater much for meals just the few extras you may need - though they were very friendly and nice. It was easy to communicate, check in and check out and teh beds were comfortable and clean. definite recommendation

Helppo tutustua vanhaan kaupunkiin. Sijainti rauhallisemmalla puolella Venetsialaista satamaa. Palvelut lähellä. Liian pehmeä sänky minun mielestäni, mutta sehän onkin vain makuasioita.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Valias place was amazing ! We dealt with her mum Katerina who was super friendly and always on the phone if I needed anything. Perfect location with stunning views of the Venetian port . Everywhere easy to get to. The beach about a 30 min walk and a beautiful one at that. Highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again nxt year 😀

Wir waren vom 6.10.-12.10. bei Nikos in der Unterkunft. Der Meerblick war toll. Abends haben wir das Meer rauschen gehört. 2 Minuten zum Strand. Das Wasser war klar und angenehme 25°. Am Strand waren nicht viele Leute, eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Insel bietet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Altstadt von Rethymno ist allein eine Reise wert. Die Preise sind ok. Die Griechen sind nett und gastfreundlich. Nikos war zur Stelle, wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft können wir empfehlen👍. We had a great time at Fotis and Amalia’s place. Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed! The location was perfect as we like to stay just outside of the hustle and bustle but close enough so we can dip in and out with ease. There’s plenty of bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets around. The views are just outstanding and we ended up getting food a few times to eat at home as we enjoyed to look at the sea from the house. It was also easy to cook, there’s plenty of utensils if you wish to prep a meal in. The bed was really comfortable, as I’m 7 months pregnant asked if we could have a couple of extra pillows and this was ready for our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of groceries we had available at the house too! Fresh fruit (we loved making our own fresh orange juice in the morning!), bread, butter and many other snacks! Fotis was also great at recommending places to visit like beaches, restaurants and museums. We 100% recommend this place!

Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

Wir hatten einen schönen 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Christina. Lage: Das kleine Penthouse liegt ein paar Meter von der Promenade entfernt, dort sind schon Cafés, Bars und Restaurants zu finden. Das touristische Zentrum von Chania, also der alte Hafen und die Altstadt, sind rund 10 Minuten Fussweg entlang der Promenade entfernt. Eine schöne Bäckerei und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind buchstäblich um die Ecke gelegen. In der Straße selbst ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine Probleme, immer wieder einen parkplatz für unseren MIetwagen zu finden. Aufgrund der innerstädtischen Lage muss man mit einer gewissen Geräuschkulisse im Hintergrund rechnen - ist bei uns daheim auch nicht anders. Ausstattung: Die Bilder geben einen guten Eindruck von den Räumlichkeiten wieder, nur das Bett wirkt auf dem Foto kleiner, als es tatsächlich ist. Die Dachterresse ist natürlich der Knüller, mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Ansonsten haben wir alles vorgefunden, was wir benötigt haben.

Vlakbij het strand. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar. Appartement heeft alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Behulpzame verhuurder. Alles op wandelafstand, auto is enkel nodig voor daguitstappen. Leuk speelgoed voor de kinderen. Enige minpunt is dat het naast een drukke baan ligt met nodige lawaai.
