Somerset Stableyard Cottage

NataliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Megan’s place! It’s a cozy, clean spot on a farm surrounded by nature, with pony and farm animals nearby and beautiful views especially towards Glastonbury Tor. Megan was a wonderful host, very welcoming and attentive. You do need a car, but the location made it easy to explore the area. The outdoor dining space was great. Just note that the road nearby can be a bit noisy, and the property is close to the family home. We felt very grateful to stay in such a lovely and natural setting!

Pippins - Luxury Farm Getaway

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely place, we loved it 🥰 Fantastic peaceful and private location. Well thought out property, really nice interiors, spacious, and well equipped. It felt really homely. Fresh eggs from the farm and biscuits on arrival were a treat. We didn’t meet Helen but she was a great responsive host before and during our stay. We hope to be back when we’re next in the area.

The Old Rectory Retreat - Spacious secluded luxury

HollyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We were visiting family locally but would have come to stay here anyway as the accommodation is very special and in a beautiful rural locality. Sean and Zoe could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is really comfortable and with interesting furniture and art works . The king size bed was luxurious and the view from the bedroom overlooking the hills beyond was a wonderful start to the day. Lamyatt is a very pretty village close to National Trust properties, lovely rural walks and great pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance. Bruton and Castle Cary , the local towns, have plenty of interesting shops. Wells is also nearby with the Bishops Palace and the Cathedral. We were there over Armistice Sunday and went to a service there. The Retreat is well named, tucked at the back of Old Rectory and is completely private. But Sean and Zoe were always on hand to help in any way. Thank you so much - we would love to come back.

A beautiful and well appointed cottage, close to all amenities in the lovely market town of Castle Cary. Jade was proactive and helpful and the snacks and drinks were a nice welcoming touch.

Field view en-suite room nr Pilton

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were so lucky to find Natalie's place for a lastminute stay. She was super flexible and helpful with our check and we were impressed with the quality of the coffee and tea station and general styling of the room. It was the perfect spot for us and super easy to access. Natalie was even kind enough to find us an iron and ironing board on short notice so we didn't turn up to our event looking a mess! A great spot convenient for Pilton and Glastonbury and we'd stay again next time we're visiting our local friends!

Scrumper's Rest | Ditcheat Hill Farm

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our 1 night stay. We were met by runner ducks on arrival which was very sweet. The space was extremely clean, lovely bedding and a comfortable bed. Even the outdoor chairs were spotless! The surroundings were very peaceful and we loved how private it was. Only thing to mention was the wood was a bit damp so our fire was hard to get going - but we appreciated the fire supplies were provided! Thank you for a perfect stay! Would recommend to anyone 😊

Baily Gate Cottage at The Natterjack Inn

DebbieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The cottage is small but spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfy and the owners were incredibly friendly. We also booked two of the rooms for other family members and they were equally impressed. We ate at the pub on the Saturday night and enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you for a great stay - we can highly recommend this apartment.

Peaceful Nature Cabins at Higher Farm

MadelineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Amazing experience from start to finish. All the people at the farm were wonderfully welcoming and generous with their time. Thank you Tay for the extra special welcome for us, it was the perfect start to our trip. We were lucky enough to be able to sit on the deck with the Chiminea going strong, a glass of bubbly, watching the sun set behind Glastonbury Tor...priceless! Yurt was spotless, beautifully furnished and a super comfortable bed. Proper bathroom with flushing toilet was the icing on the cake for a middle-aged woman who gets up a lot in the night :) We will be back again and will try and come when the Farm Caff is open, as I'm sure that's great too. Thank you for a really memorable stay.
