Holiday rentals with lake access in Alexandria

Great rental for our extended family. Loved the hot tub, large tv, large kitchen - plenty of room for us to spread out.

A wonderful family weekend. Even though the weather did not cooperate, there was plenty to do inside with some fun arcade games and foosball table. Very spacious kitchen, dining and living room. Lots of bedrooms and plenty of beds. If the weather were nice we would have loved the volleyball, dock & boat!

We have a friend group of 10 adults and growing growing children. To find a place that fits all of us comfortably is a challenge, but this place was the perfect size. We had multiple places to hang out and we weren’t on top of each other. We will definitely be back again!

A high quality place to relax for a few days by water. Very nice and lots of beds for a big group. Tom was very responsive, informative, and helpful if needed. Would recommend.

Just had a wonderful weekend at Dan and Catherine's house in Alexandria. We were 10 older folks there to bike the Central Lakes Trail, and this was very convenient. I can't find any fault with our hosts or the accommodations. The house was spacious. Each of us had their own room, and the two bathrooms was adequate for what we needed. There is a really nice patio with a table that seated everybody, and fire ring where we sat on evening for a campfire, and a large dining table indoors. Everyone agreed it was a great place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty to do indoors, but we didn't take much advantage of it because the weather turned spectacular so we mostly stayed outside. Highly recommend these hosts!

We needed a place close to our tiny cabin that had more room for our kids to come and celebrate my wife’s 75th birthday. We brought our pontoon over from our lake and a couple of kayaks. This home had more outdoor toys that added to our fun weekend. The second night everyone slept through the night train coming through. Buchanan lake is a shallow calm lake for a relaxing weekend.

Great place and we will definitely return in the future. Trisha & Chris are kind and very hospitable. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Beautiful, peaceful location but just a short drive into town. We look forward to our next visit!

We had a nice relaxing stay on the lake. We had family nearby so we didn’t get to spend as much time at Louis’s place as I would have liked. I think that I would have enjoyed getting the kayaks out on the lake.🙂

Our stay at the Beehive Resort was wonderful. The lakeside location, Lorena's spectacular gardens and the lovely unit we used were even better than we expected. Our hosts, Lorena and Louis were so friendly and helpful. We hope to return next summer!

I have stayed at Bee and Paul's place (both upstairs and down) five times this year, and each time has been incredible. Both places are comfortable, clean, welcoming and filled with everything you might need and then some! I love this house and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Fergus Falls. Everybody is incredibly responsive, it's easy to check in and out, and the neighborhood is among my favorite places to walk. Just can't say enough about this house and these hosts!

Bee and Paul’s was very beautiful to stay at. The scenery was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for the night we utilized it. They had very great communication and Paul was really helpful with every question we asked. We went there for a bachelorette party and their recommendation list provided was a great guide to local restaurants. Location was great as it was private yet a larger town was only 15 mins away in case we needed anything. Thank you for having us!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Louis and Lorena's airbnb! We had a gorgeous view of the lake from the deck and the airbnb itself had everything we needed along with comfy beds. There were some fun board games to keep the kids entertained as well. Lorena was always quick to respond to any questions I had which was very much appreciated! Would love to stay here again!

We stayed at Bee & Paul's place in Fergus Falls for four nights. We really enjoyed ourselves. (Except for the weather, which was awful!) Though the house is old, the unit is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It's easy to find -- in a quiet neighborhood close to this small town's downtown. We had breakfast every morning at the Viking Cafe (highly recommend!) and found a couple of good restaurants for dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lake Andrew cottages! Everything from the host meeting us at the door to walk through and give a step by step of the property, to enjoying a kayak ride at sunset, this place was one of the best! It was easy to communicate with the management for check in and I appreciated how welcome we felt. The cottage was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back again in the future!

We had a great time at Rayn's place and her and Wayne were there to greet us and show us around. I loved the fantastic view and I think her place is decorated in such a unique and eclectic way, always something fun to look at. Even before we got there she was giving us ideas on things to do for the weekend, and even more suggestions for places to eat/shop when we got there. And of course the kayaking was exactly what we were hoping to do. We felt right at home and have everything available to use to make it a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

we really enjoyed our stay at owl trail cabin. it was relaxing and beautiful scenery. The view of the stars were incredible! The host was very friendly and responsive.

What a great and fun weekend. Perfect location, just outside of town and shopping was close if we forgot anything. Rocky was awesome as well, he made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be staying again.

The place was a great price for all the things included. We had a lot of fun and the host was very responsive. Loved the swing for my kids and the outdoor deck also a cool watershow in walking distance from home. Inside the downstairs was wonderful for the most part very cutesy, only problem I had was when I arrived the downstairs bedroom was a little damp but the dehumidifer was turned on and Windows opened and it was fine the rest of the time. Also maybe add some curtains into the living room downstairs for more privacy. Upstairs was great floors are a little odd but overall an amazing experience. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Mary's Place. The charming home was spacious and easily accomadated our group. The access to the water was perfect and the lake is great. We would definitely recommend this property.

Stacie was a fantastic host and was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the views of beautiful sunsets over the lake. It was fun to go kayaking and play on the lillypad. The place had everything we needed. Our stay was very peaceful!
