Jackie was a great host and very communicative! Ended up getting snowed in and they let us stay longer and even came and shoveled the drive way for us! Only 30 minutes from Boone, yet secluded. Would highly recommend taking a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

House was great. Very clean and the host were extremely helpful and responsive.

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

Overall this was an amazing property to stay at. Shari was able to accommodate us for a last minute check in, I’m talking within hours. She was even able to get us a boat for our stay even with it being Fathers Day weekend. The house was very clean with clear and easy instructions for check in/check out procedures. I would definitely stay again in the future! Our only issue wasn’t about the property or host, rather the next door neighbors. They kept their 2 small dogs outside all day and through the evening. They were barking non stop and it was difficult to fall asleep or enjoy a peaceful time outside. It was noted that quiet time was after 10pm and the dogs were barking well past that. We had to file a noise complaint due to the excessive barking and we honestly felt bad for the dogs seeing that they were caged up outside. We are dog lovers as we have one of our own but the neighbors could have been a little more respectful.

Our stay at Anne's house was simply amazing. She is the perfect host, always responsive, helpful, accommodating whenever possible, willing to answer questions, and the home itself was absolutely perfect! Every single person in our group returned raving about the house and how perfect it was for our weekend of skiing.

We spent a few days celebrating my husband’s fortieth birthday and this was the perfect location. Close to downtown Blowing Rock and our first time in Lenoir. Beautiful views, peaceful and quiet, great spaces for our needs. We will definitely consider visiting again.

Amber was very responsive and helpful. This house is idea for families or three couples who want to enjoy each other while having personal privacy. Spacious and comfortable! All amenities are there and working. Highly recommended!!

Perfect place to stay. Walkable distance to downtown businesses and restaurants. Clean inside, comfortable bed, and John was very responsive when I asked him some questions. I would recommend this place if you just need a short stay and want to be near a lot of entertainment. PS...You can't hear the entertainment, just close to downtown

We had the best time! Everything was amazing, we brought our boat the ramp was close by which made it very easy to get to the dock. The home was amazing there was space for everyone, the view is breathtaking! The host was very accommodating and responsive. We were able to swim, kayak and fish right off the dock. The beds were very comfortable, the space was organized and clean, they had everything you need to cook and have a great time. Master bath was so luxurious great way to unwind and relax. We have amazing memories around the fire with enough seating for the whole family. Upper deck was by far my favorite spot enjoyed meals with the family and coffee in the mornings overlooking the lake (breath taking view) I hope to return soon!

Omegia greeted us when we came and was immediately responsive to our questions during our stay. She left a bottle of wine and cheese for us and donuts for breakfast. We did have problems with our front door lock and the TV had no signal while we were there. It is, however, a lovely, peaceful neighborhood close to downtown Elkin and Omegia is a friendly attentive host. We enjoyed our visit.

We had a lovely stay! We loved kayaking, swimming in the warm lake, and taking in the 270 degree lake views on the beautiful shaded dock. Frankie and Gordon were available, when needed, to answer any questions and give recommendations for the area. They live on the other side of the property (in a separate building) so it feels as if you have the place to yourself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location with us.

Super clean, cozy, very charming. So many lovely little details and extras that made for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Sadly we were only there for one short night, but I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in the area.

This cabin was great—even better than I anticipated. The location was convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, and a day trip to West Jefferson. It’s also minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was large enough for everyone to have their own space. I would love to stay here again.

Well we’re so comfortable and had a great time. It was just our family and the setup was perfect for parents and children. Please be aware the location had stairs to get to the house and the grill is back down the stairs making it a little inconvenient for most but very hard if not impossible for those with mobility concerns. The place was very well appointed, comfortable, and clean. We’ll for sure be back!!

We had a great stay at Susan's cabin. Beautiful location and lots of great hiking trails all around the community. Caught a lot of fish in the ponds with our 4 year old. Would recommend and stay again!

We were immediately impressed with this house. Actually even better than shown in the photos. SO clean and well equipped. Plenty of books, games, puzzles and DVDs available. The deck was fabulous. Our only recommendation was add a couple more rockers for the covered area of the deck. We had one rainy day during our stay and sitting on the deck to enjoy it was fantastic! We also made good use of the gas fire table. Susan’s response time when we reached out was close to immediate and helpful. Overall, we had a fabulous week and having such a comfortable place to stay was a huge part of it! Thank you!

A lovely light filled home in a gated community. Very private and peaceful. We saw deer, turkeys and ducks. Since it is in the woods expect the usual bugs etc. Enjoyed coffee on the porch looking at the incredible view. The clubhouse and pool is a 5 minute walk. The location is a good 30 minutes from Boone. The roads are curvy and winding and you often need to stop for deer. We have family and friends in Boone so we were driving a lot. George was very nice and accommodating. He was in the owner’s apartment a few times to work on the property and I barely knew he was there. The WiFi and phone service was spotty. If I didn’t need to be in Boone so much, I would absolutely stay there again.
