House holiday rentals in Albany

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

Wow - we had an amazing stay and loved Job's beautiful home. The photos barely capture the incredible views. 180 degrees views of Mt. Tam all the way down to the Bay - truly on top of world. Pool was bigger than expected, warm water, great covered porch, VERY nice pool house/bedroom & bath. All beds were super comfortable, everything sparkling clean and living room was such a great and comfy area to watch movies or just look at the view with a good book. Kitchen is outfitted (and labeled) with everything you need. Very close to San Anslemo downtown - which is filled with great lunch spots, coffee shops. So much to do in Marin and this is centrally located (note a steep driveway but we had no issues.) Can't think of a single improvement Job could make. I left something behind and he responded that day that he would ship back to me. One of our most favorite Airbnbs ever. THANK YOU!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

The Treehouse was a perfect getaway for a family of 8 adults and one child. Surroundings were beautiful. Nature was plentiful. The place had great amenities, kitchen well stocked, and the pool and hot tub one of a kind of !! We all had a great stay !!!

I love this place. My favorite Airbnb to date. It’s more beautiful in person. They have everything you can think of, very accommodating. He even let us check in early. I love this place. We will definitely stay again. And Kenny is so friendly!

My daughter and I loved our stay in this space. We found it very cozy. It’s within walking distance to so much while also being in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I would gladly stay here again on a future trip back to the area.

This is a very conveniently located house, near the restaurants and shops of Solano Avenue and the Albany Hill Park, and very close to the Albany entrances to the freeways. The front of the house looks over the freeway to the bay with vistas to Marin, the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. While it is very close to the roads, the house is well sound-proofed. The bedrooms are especially quiet. The house is clean and recently renovated. All in all a good value.

My stay at Reuvens Airbnb was very comfortable. All lights were labeled. The bed was comfortable. The shower was easy to use. All very clean. The kitchen was fully supplied. Lots of details in the setting made it easy to feel relaxed. It was quiet also. It is in easy walking distance to a supermarket and an avenue to walk down and enjoy. I recommend it for all around comfort.

Loved our stay at this charming and contemporary home! Walking distance to everything: restaurants, boutiques, bars, Cal. And fun to come home to: great beds, kitchen, living areas and cozy backyard! Hostess provided alllll the little things to make us feel at home from the moment we settled in: coffee, tea, snacks, fully stocked kitchen and linens. Just awesome after a long day of traveling! Hope to stay here again on our next Bay Area getaway!

We had a great stay at Chalyn’s Airbnb. Chalyn was really communicative. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. It was a bonus to have the split system for heating and coolings. Parking was easy with a space immediately out the front and the house a short walk to food and shops on Solano Ave.

I have stayed at Puck’s place quite a few times and always find it clean and neat. The location is convenient for restaurants, grocery stores, BART and freeway. Puck is easy to reach and very helpful and I definitely will stay there again. I recommend Puck’s place if you are in the East Bay.

I had a great time staying at Sarita's. I will be staying here again. Sarita is a great host, and her home is warm, welcoming, and in a beautiful neighborhood.

What a beautiful home with all the amenities you would want. Easy to find and easy access via lock system. Just pristine clean and decorative. The fact that Kyoto’s place has two full bathrooms is unmatched to any other local property. The host was very responsive ams provided timely response and was very proactive with check in and check out instructions. So many amenities to name. She even left coffee pods. Plenty of clean sheets, towels and blankets. We were 20 minutes to Napa and Meritage resort. The area is quiet and near expressway. The sofabed was extremely comfortable. Do not pass on Kyoto’s place as you will not be disappointed. Thank you Kyoto for sharing your place for our home away from home.

Loved this spot! Spacious, bright, clean, private, great aesthetics, awesome kitchen gear. 5 stars all around. Would definitely stay here again. Oh, one more perk: the shower. I’m 6’1”, and the shower heads were well above my head! That’s a rare joy. I came in from the east coast for a workshop, and fell in love with all the gardens & plants in the neighborhood too. Totally different from what I’m used to. Beautiful. The only thing I’d suggest as a traveler is to bring an eye mask for sleeping. The skylights are really beautiful, but they let in light at night and super early morning too. Glad I had mine with me.

Was a beautiful home to spend our trip to San Pablo. The house was warm and cozy and it wasn’t too far from SF or where we needed to go. Was a great neighborhood. The house was easy to find and we enjoyed our stay a lot!!!

Simona and Ambuj were great hosts. This location worked perfectly as a home base to get my daughter settled for an internship in Berkeley. Great aesthetic and welcoming. Huge bonus was the adjustable standing desk as I needed to work remotely each day. I especially appreciated the small stepper at the desk to use while working. Walkable to enjoy local dining and farmers markets. Would recommend.

Hunter's home was great. Our grouped enjoyed their stay here. The house was clean and comfy, and in a great location for us. Hunter was easy to communicate with as well. We would be happy to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Everything is brand new and beautifully set up. Thoughtful and gracious touches everywhere, like coffee and tea set up for guests. Comfy beds, nice towels etc, great showers. A gorgeous house on a beautiful street in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Berkeley. Easy parking, super walkable, great access to all the best of the Bay Area. Scott was super responsive and nice. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We traveled with 3 adults and an 18 month old and this house had everything we needed for the little one-/ especially the extra mattress for the Pack&Play. Our favorite feature though was the lovely backyard where our Berkeley family could come to relax and have dinner with us. Plus a cute playhouse that kept the little one occupied. Kitchen is small but has all the utensils, dishes, glassware to do whatever— very efficient and organized. And the bonus is there are several streaming services accessible on the TV. Plus 4th Street restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Oh and there is a magical mirror in the second bedroom/office that makes one taller and slimmer— always a good thing when eating out for 5 days. Hosts were responsive to all our queries usually within minutes. We would happily return.

We loved staying here! First, the place was extremely comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. It had everything we could need for a longer stay and felt like our own space due to the privacy and easy access with coming and going. The location was great. I was commuting regularly and enjoyed being just a few minutes walk away from BART. We were also near some great bike rides. Sonha and her husband were exceptional hosts, always ensuring we had what we needed, plus more. I felt like we could easily get in touch with them whenever. We felt particularly lucky with how welcoming they were, even inviting my husband on a bike ride after discovering that was one of his interests. I feel like Sonha’s communication was perfect and always at the same level we brought. Overall, this was one of my best Airbnb experiences and Sonha’s place is definitely our first pick next time we’re back!

Everything as described. We would stay again. Nice neighborhood, easy communication and nothing to complain about. Great overall value!
