THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ! Me and my partner (UK & Swiss) stayed here when visiting her family in Alexandria. I want to start by saying this was my favourite stay I’ve had on Airbnb. Mohamed and Lamia were true examples of how all Airbnb hosts should be. The apartment is on a quiet street just behind the ‘hustle and bustle’ of the local area. It over looks a sporting club with golf, swimming pools and a gym that is a must see for anyone staying in the apartment. The street out front has pharmacies, small supermarkets, bakers and coffee shops. The Apartment is super clean, homely and had every amenity to use as a relaxing base to come back to after a days travelling. The Balcony has a beautiful view and is spacious. A nice feature is that all the doors and windows have mosquito nets so you can leave them open for a nice breeze without getting eaten alive! Me being English I stick out but never once I felt unsafe or haggled. I even went to the shop at 3am and had no concern.

The host (Mohamed) is friendly and helpful, the apartment is very neat and clean, the location is perfect in the heart of the city, everything was fantastic and went very smoothly, and I will recommend the apartment to anyone.

Dr. Mohamed is very responsive and is so attentive. He has been helping out through our stay.

The host Mr. Ahmed was very welcoming, he en offered to pick us up at the bus station even though we arrived during the night. We really enjoyed our time there.

It was a great place with a fantastic view—way better than I expected. Hussein was a friendly and helpful person. The staff in the building were super friendly and respectful. I would choose to stay in the same place next time.

Nancy is a fabulous host. She is welcoming and had a little supply pack for me on arrival. The flat is very generous in size and has a well equipped kitchen. There is a fruit store and a supermarket within a few steps. When I checked out Nancy gave me a little reminder of Alexandria. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Bego’s apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—close to attractions yet peaceful. Bego was a fantastic host, offering helpful recommendations and thoughtful touches that made my stay special. Highly recommend and would gladly return!

I love this place. It is charming, spacious and centrally located. I came to Alexandria for research and work. The place is at a walking distance from important cultural locations. I had room in the flat to work and write. I loved the kitchen to cook a simple meal. Carrefour food shopping is at walking distance. Nice airconditioning during the hot summer days. Great view on a tree. The appartment is the perfect hidaway if you want to explore Alexandria and have a home where you can relax and decompress from the hustle and bustle of this intense and marvelous city. I highly recommend Mohamed’s place.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Johannes’ Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless — check-in was easy, the place was spotless, and all the little details were thoughtfully taken care of. Johannes was a great host: responsive, friendly, and full of helpful local tips. The space was exactly as described (if not better), with a cozy atmosphere, comfortable furnishings, and everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The place is nice, mainly set up for large families, the location is wonderful, the view from the balcony is breath taking .. a perfect spot for relaxation or getaway vacation

Our stay at this Airbnb home was truly exceptional. The house is spacious and offers a remarkable sense of peace and comfort. It was cleaner than many hotels we’ve stayed in — truly spotless. The location is excellent and very safe, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Caroline, the host, was extremely kind, respectful, and helpful. The housekeeper, Hind, came every two days right on time and kept the house perfectly clean and tidy. There are parking spots next to the building for a small fee — they are not part of the house, but they are very secure and convenient. Overall, our stay was beyond wonderful, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
