Holiday rentals with a pool in Akumal

What can I say.......This was PARADISE!!!!! I have rented many houses through different websites, and this house was exactly what they said it was going to be. I stayed in this beautiful house 5/25/25 to 6/56/25. Everything was Perfect from the first day I entered this house, until the day I left. Armando, and his Wife Andrea made the entire trip perfect. They took care of any of our needs. I loved the little shopping, and restaurant area close to the house. If you are looking for a Beautiful, and Peaceful house to vacation in, this is the HOUSE!!! Also, the Entire Staff at Akumal Villas if fantastic. They answered all my questions before arriving to the house. I would like to Thank everyone for the Best Vacation I have ever had. Looking forward to returning to this House again soon.

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

A casa de José é fantástica, cinematográfica. Nós passamos o dia em uma praia e só entramos na casa ja de noite. Mas fomos todas pra piscina e no dia seguinte já saímos da casa. Vale muito a pena ficar nessa locação. José sempre foi muito prestativo.

We had a magical week at Adolfo’s place with our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is spectacular and the kids loved being able to play on the beach and jump in the pool. Early risers will love the sunrise view from the beach. The location itself is an amazing jumping off point to enjoy Akumal (great taco spots in town!), Tulum, and local cenotes and eco parks. We were a bit anxious about not having AC in the main living area but the breeze was beautiful and it allowed us to really embrace indoor/outdoor living. The caretaking staff are wonderful and very helpful - they helped us arrange for massages at the house and kept the property meticulously clean. We also took advantage of Chef Carlos’s services and are so happy we did. The house itself is very comfortable. Showing its age in places but we appreciated it being un-fussy - especially with young kids. The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes but you’ll need to bring your own basic cooking supplies.

If you are able to book this incredible location, DO IT! Perfect location, beautiful outdoor space, wonderful interior design, EXACTLY what we needed for a relaxing and refreshing vacation. Mirko is a tremendous host! His recommendations were SO incredibly valuable and spot-on! We were so relieved to have such wonderful suggestions for activities and restaurants; not having to spend time researching on where to eat and what to do was PRICELESS. We can't thank Mirko enough!

This place is heaven! I now understand why this place has a perfect review score: it truly lives up to all of the expectations set, and then some. The house is super peaceful and private-with two very helpful and friendly caretakers onsite when needed, but totally out of your way when not. We basically lived in the pool and adjacent palapa and just lounged for 5 days in this small slice of paradise. Don't expect to swim in the ocean (we got lucky and the sargassum subsided 1 afternoon) -- but its not an issue at all. The pool is amazing + there are so many cenotes and swimming spots within a 5-20 minute drive (15 mins from Xelha, highly recommend). The inside is exactly everything a couple needs - it felt like a luxury suite at a 5 star resort. Large comfy bed, nice bathroom, and decent sized kitchen and living room -- all super clean and well stocked. We grocery shopped and cooked a few meals + there are many decent restaurants within a 5-20 min walk or short drive. We will be back!

The very best Airb&b experience to date! Tanya greeted me to a extremely clean place, we'll thought out, safe and private place. I loved the authentic Spanish kitchen and modest bathroom. And how thoughtful of her to provide everything you need to nourish yourself upon arrival and longer. The place is located within walking distance of Super Aki and other stores.Super Aki is a frequent meeting spot for many excursions. I would definitely recommend this spot.

We enjoyed our 7 day honeymoon in the YalKulCai condo. It was so artistic and clean and quiet. We rented a car, the walk to the main beach is 2km. There are a couple restaurants close by that we enjoyed. We also visited Tulum and Xel-ha, sat by the pool and visited a private Cenote.

We had a great time, the place was awesome. Aside from the seaweed that is uncontrollable it was amazing snorkeling out in the bay. We are actually looking to invest in a place similar to this and this gave us a very good appreciation for the location. Definitely on the top of our list..

Chris’s apartment was exactly as described – very clean, well-kept, and beautifully furnished. Communication was excellent; whenever we had a question, we received a quick response. The shared pool was cleaned daily and was almost always quiet and nearly empty. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back

Steve’s place at Nahil is truly a hidden secret! Best place to get into Half Moon Bay to snorkel! It has a great pool, lovely garden, great new little convenience store across the street, and very quiet! The studio is perfect fora couple! It is cozy and comfortable! Ester, our housekeeper is about as sweet as anyone can be! I highly, highly recommend Nahil #11!

Un super séjour ! Le logement était exactement comme décrit : propre, spacieux et bien situé par rapport aux diverses activités. Le condo est facile d’accès, l’endroit est très tranquille, parfait pour se détendre. La piscine est belle et bien entretenue. Les chambres sont confortable Micheline et Giovanna ont été très réactives. Les instruction d'arrivée et de départ sont très claires. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Loved staying at Martin & Alan’s place, and we would definitely return. The condo was well secured, safe, clean, and not to mention gorgeous! Loved the private plunge pool, and we really appreciated the complimentary items such as ample toiletries, paper towel, kitchen items, and extra towels + blanket! Only thing i’d note is that the stairs to the roof plunge pool are quite narrow, so be mindful of that when booking. The shared pool was also really awesome.

Lovely place in beautiful setting with ocean view and constant sound of the surf. We've stayed before and will come back. While there's no beach access, we don't mind - just go to the beach or lagoon nearby.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely clean and well-maintained, and what truly made the experience exceptional was the host—very responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions. They gave amazing recommendations for restaurants, services, and things to do in the area, which really elevated our trip. Everything was great! The only small note is that the pool doesn’t get a lot of sun and didn’t look quite as vibrant as in the photos—but that didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed relaxing in it during the afternoons. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

beautiful condo right on the beach. easy acceed to everything. clean, spacious unit with a pool right there. host was friendly, responsibe and good natured. A+ all around.

The property was gorgeous & was a perfect space for our group to just hang out in the pool, relax, and enjoy. The home itself was beautiful, completely accurately pictured and described, truly a stunning home. Comfortable beds, AC! They were very sweet about letting us decorate the place for our event and make it extra special for our bride. The hosts were INCREDIBLE, helping us at every step of the way including helping us plan activities (catamaran picked us up right at the house) arranging transportation, helping us with deliveries, and setting up a fantastic private chef experience. All exquisite. The pool is everything— even has a small section of shallow water for anyone who just wants to cool off but doesn’t want a full swim. It is large enough to fit a big group which was also a plus. Only downside of the property is that it isn’t particularly close to the restaurants nearby, but with the help of their recommended very affordable taxi service everything felt accessible!

Donna and Lauriane were amazing host. Lauriane helped us with everything we needed with not only the house but also on getting around the town and booking taxis. Thank you for everything was definitely a perfect location.

La unidad estaba perfectamente situada frente al mar, la alberca y restaurantes. Las camas muy cómodas y la cocina con lo necesario para cocinar. La atención de Mónica y Yazmín estuvo de primera. Nos atendieron de lujo y nos ayudaron con cosas extras hasta ir por un abanico de piso para mi hijo autista que lo necesita para dormir. Hicieron toda la diferencia en nuestras vacaciones. Les agradecemos de corazón todas las atenciones. Y sin duda regresaremos.

I stayed at Oscar’s place and it was the best stay I ever had. He was so helpful from start to finish, even when it came to other things such as transportation, and birthday decorations. The place is very clean and pleasant to stay at. The maid comes everyday and is so kind too. It’s very safe, and in a perfect spot. Close to the center and 10-15 min from beach. Thank you so much for this perfect experience. I would recommend this place to everyone. it’s better than any other !

I had an incredible month-long stay at this Airbnb in Tulum’s La Veleta neighborhood. The area is filled with amazing restaurants, all within walking distance. I loved that I could explore the neighborhood entirely on foot—it's very safe and walk-friendly. The experience was everything I hoped for, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!

Great location, beautiful house. We were a group of 10 and had more than enough room. It’s worth pointing out that the casita, which has two bedrooms and could sleep 6 people, is located closer to the street. The main house has 4 bedrooms. Because we had kids, we didn’t use the casita much. The view from the backyard is beautiful. Carlos was very responsive. Would recommend.

This place was amazing! Everything was clean, and the pool was delightful. The ac units helped keep the rooms at a great temperature to sleep in, and the giant glass doors downstairs allowed for a nice indoor/outdoor feel, letting in plenty of light during the day! Lupita provided great excursions options to include a private driver from the Tulúm airport. I would highly recommend this air bnb. Close enough to downtown to walk if you want, but far enough away to be peaceful!
