Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Akumal

We enjoyed our vacation very much. Was so nice to come home each evening after exploring to a beautiful pool and handcrafted cocktails. Such a nice space. Panza restaurant (onsite) had wonderful food and very friendly and helpful staff. Love the idea of incorporating resident artists and wellness into the Aflora concept. Aldea Zama was a good location for us. Was able to bike to Tulum Town as well as the beaches and Tulum ruins. Booked a cenote and cooking tour with a local guide via airbnb experiences. Was one of the highlights of our trip! 100% recommend staying here responsive and helpful hosts!:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us, quiet, roomy, with access to both pool and beach. We loved the pool by the beach!! The building complex is great, although the walk to the unit is somewhat long especially when carrying luggage or groceries! We had a car so getting to restaurants and grocery options was easy. Tulum is not far, appx a 20 min drive where there are lots of restaurants and 2 large grocery stores. I would not recommend staying here without a car. Shana and her co-hosts are great, very responsive and friendly, as are the security folks at the entrance. We recommend this location without hesitation and would definitely return if ever back to Akumal.

Great apartment, lovely building. One elevator was broken which was a bummer and the place was a bit dusty. Overall quite clean, super responsive host, amazing location and beautiful views from the roof. Would stay again.

The building is beautiful, very modern and has great amenities like a gym and a rooftop pool with an amazing view of the sunset. The interior design of the apartment is absolutely perfect – incredibly cozy, and we felt at home right away. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, and there was even a steamer for clothes, which was a great extra. A helpful addition would be a mosquito net at the window. During our stay in April, there were only a few mosquitoes, but in other months a net might be useful. It’s helpful to know that there are no restaurants, supermarkets, or free public beach access nearby, so it’s best to have a scooter or rental car if you want to avoid expensive taxis. We rented a scooter directly at the front desk of the accomodation (the scooter was 600 MXN per day). We would definitely come back – the beautiful interior design made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay and it was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever visited.

Great spacious studio with a washer and dryer and lots of household items to get you started. A great amenity is the mosquito sheath covered patio which is great to sit out on without getting eating by mosquitos. The place is in a fully gated community which if you dont have a car is difficult to come and go from especially as the Tulum country club doesnt allow visitors who aren’t guests but if this isnt an issue for you this is a great very well Priced to stay In the area with restaurants and a mini mart great for getting supplies without having to leave the property. Caribbean visa were very easy to deal with and very responsive to any requests or questions during my stay.

This is a great place to stay, plenty of space open and light great views over the landscape. Nice and private it’s away from the bust Tulum centre and beach strip. A rental car or motorcycle is helpful as you need to travel to access the local attractions. But it suited our needs perfectly a great space to relax after lots of travelling.

This was my second time staying at Ipana condos and Andres’s penthouse was exactly what we were looking for this time! Everything looked just like the pictures listed. We loved having the covered patio on the main floor to relax outside, especially during the stormy weather - do keep in mind that you are quite close to your neighbours across and can see right into their units and vice versa, but we didn’t mind that. We spent most of our time on the open terrace on the top floor and really enjoyed having our own little jacuzzi. It does take time to fill up as the water pressure is very weak in the tub (fine in the shower) but it was well worth the wait. The water temperature isn’t cold but not hot either! (shower gets hot) We had some small requests like extra hand towels and garbage bags and Andres was prompt to provide them the following day. The location is perfect to walk to any restaurant or cafe and the beach. There is also a huge super market around the corner, which is helpful.

This place was breath taking, lots to do and if you are worried about transportation, don’t be you can literally walk to ATV, mopeds and bike rentals right across the street for about $40 a day depending on what you choose, we went to our excursions on our rentals. I recommend going to the beach club area for food. Gas stations are close as well as grocery stores, the actual property was amazing!!!!!!

Miguel’s place was perfect! Beach right outside and 5th ave and all its shops and liveliness super close. It’s a very walkable neighborhood! I would definitely stay here again. Also Miguel was very helpful with arranging airport transport.

We just had a great stay. First of all, the place is peaceful and residential and it's really nice. The residence is beautiful, the accommodation is also very beautiful, not to mention the pool area, which is not sufficiently highlighted in the listing because it is really superb. And the icing on the cake is Frederico. Always available to answer our questions or help us! In short, we are delighted! If you come by car, there's no risk for it, if you come on foot, it's great too. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely incredible property. It still Has the feel of old Tulum. Oasis Yaaxlum is set in the lush jungle. Stunning property. Private. Quiet. Secluded. Incredible pool area. Wildlife everywhere. Stunning property. I highly recommend. Christophe and his team are incredible people. Caring, helpful, amazing recommendations. I would 100% stay here again. Great hosts make all the difference. They can provide everything you need from rentals to airport transfers. They even give 20 liters of filtered water. A rarity in Tulum. This could be one of my absolute favorite places in Tulum. This place is a sanctuary. So peaceful. Very close to the TAO Wellness center where I needed to be for a retreat. And close to Otan restaurant. The bicycle was a nice touch to get around. Has everything one needs for a comfortable stay.

We absolutely fell in love with this space, and Akumal. The jungle setting and view was stunning. We enjoyed walking across the street to the beach, playing in the waves and searching the tide pools for treasures and creatures. The kids loved the pool time, (all the pools). Casey thought of absolutely everything one would need to make a relaxing fun vacation with a well stocked and fully equipped condo. From beach chairs, and water socks, to snorkel gear. My personal favorite was the coffee bar and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed making meals and grilling out in the common area while the kids enjoyed more pool time. Lastly, beds and linens. Absolute heaven. I’m going to be thinking about that bed for a long time. Thank you Casey for helping make our family vacation memorable and all your fantastic suggestions.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was the best one yet—such a high value for a low price. Camille and Edir were phenomenal hosts; Edir especially met us in person a few times and was so amazing and gave above-and-beyond service. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but feels even more spacious than the photos. I was so impressed with the laundry service, daily housekeeping and beautiful pool right on the beach. This stay was an enormous value!!! Thank you Edir and Camille!!

The house is simply beautiful, it has all the amenities and tools to spend time with the family, spacious, clean and very well maintained. Ana's attentions were very good, always attentive and with good recommendations. The location is very good, nice area, the residential area is very quiet and above all safe. My description in 3 words, beautiful, safe and quiet.

Sonny was amazing from beginning to end, super friendly and incredibly responsive. The place looks exactly like the pictures, and has 24 hr security… who are super friendly and helpful as well. Loved that we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Sonny had endless recommendations making our girls trip so much smoother. His transportation recommendation saved us everyday, the chef, the marachi band, the masseuse, all beautiful. Our experience was nothing less of amazing. Definitely recommended and would definitely book again.

A peaceful jungle retreat with all the essentials We had a lovely stay at this beautiful jungle home, surrounded by nature and wildlife – we saw plenty of iguanas during the day and even spotted a couple of scorpions and a small snake at night (to be expected given the location, but worth noting!). The house is compact but well-equipped with everything you need. Facilities are excellent, and the space was more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Despite some previous reviews, we did have hot water – the shower handle is just reversed, so turn it to “cold” for hot! There were a few power outages during our stay, which is fairly common in the area. One outage lasted several hours, so keep that in mind when stocking up the fridge. Our host was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout. That said, an information booklet covering things like the shower, local amenities, and how to manage during power cuts would have been really helpful and saved a few messages. The bed shee

Excellent stay, Elba and Nayeli are always attentive to resolve any unforeseen events. I appreciate all the attention, highly recommended. Very safe, comfortable and the pools are excellent.

House was beautiful and super well laid out. Big new TV, comfy couch, and all the amenities. The place was clean, bathroom soaps and shower gels, and the fresh beds were amazing with soft covers and quality sheets. Area was new, secure, quiet and Jorge kept the yard and pool spotless. We used the clubhouse, pool and gym and it was great. The only surprise was that the beach was only accessible through the gate across a very busy highway. You had to pay to access it in the times laid out. It was not the “private quiet beach club” that was advertised. The Beach front was all private, with no other accessibility. Very commercial touristy beach.

Exceeded our expectations - casa piedra is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Gorgeous inside and out. All rooms are large - it was hard to pick a favorite! The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. AC worked like a charm. Over and above concierge service - helped us with recommendations, reservations, groceries, and a million questions. The whole team was super responsive and patient. We are so grateful and can’t wait to come back!
