Amazing location, very convenient to all the main locations and downtown Reykjavik. Very cute, well designed home, had all the amenities needed (beds were super comfortable and location was quiet). Perfect amount of space for two friends traveling together. Would definitely stay again. Host was responsive and super helpful. Can’t say enough nice things!

Lloyd and Raggi’s apartment is a gem! Fully equipped, quiet street, comfy bed, secure and beautiful neighborhood. It was a short walk to central Reykjavik shopping, restaurants and historic sites. This property is great for a couple. Note that there are some stairs to from the street door to the apartment door. We highly recommend this property for staying in Reykjavik.

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

We had a great stay at the apartment. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Walking distance to Hallgrimskirka is 15 minutes and we were able to park the car well for free at the accommodation. We would definitely stay again!

Jon was a great host! Really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. We were just 2-3 blocks from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Thank you for your great hospitality and life lessons while we explored your beautiful country! Our most breathtaking day was driving up to Snæfellsjökull Peninsula/National Park. Your providing a car with the airbnb was so appreciated- as was the pickup from the airport and the stop to see your "friend". Thanks for making us feel at home while traveling abroad.

We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxed stay here for over a week. It's perfect for 2 people who are focused on seeing the sites of Iceland. A great location only 15 minutes south of Reykjavik and easy to jump on the road for day trip adventures. The view out the window of the harbor is wonderful sitting on the couch at the end of a long day of adventure. Then, if tired don't worry you have 3 nice restaurants very quick walking distances from you. Snaedis provided a thoughtful welcome basket and beers for us, 3 different times during our stay! We also had a grocery store just a minute down the road that made things easy. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality and highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay

Location was perfect for sightseeing near and far. The airbnb was very comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Trausti was a great host. I would highly recommend this place.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. The place was mostly easy to find, check in was a breeze (just take the key from the lockbox), and the three separate, private bedrooms with room darkening shades were just what our group of three women needed after our overnight flight from the states. Host was extraordinarily responsive, even bringing toilet paper over within minutes at midnight when we realized there weren’t any spare rolls. The beds were comfortable, the setting was serene, and watching the sheep and petting their dogs and feeding their horses was the cherry on top! Would absolutely recommend!

Loved Karen’s place and Karen was very responsive with my questions and provided helpful solutions. Loved the area and location. Got all my steps in each day. Loved Iceland in general and will be going back. Wasn’t prepared for the daylight but worked with it.

Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

Amazing stay!

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely view of the little harbor nearby. It provided my son and I with a base to explore many of Iceland's attractions using our car rental. Getting into the city takes about 12 minutes by car and around 45 minute by bus. We opted to cook at home since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby. Generally speaking this was a fantastic place to stay and made our whole week in Iceland stress free and relaxing. The apartment also has great water pressure and lots of warm water!

A perfect spot to crash and/or work with easy access to Reykjavik city and outlying areas. Would absolutely recommend and would look to stay again. Thank you!

Great apartment, great owner

The flat was lovely, amazing view, and perfectly situated close to everything. Linda was a good host, met us on our schedule and was very welcoming!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

Terrific condo right in the centre of action. I was concerned that the noise from the street would keep me up at night (Reykjavikers know how to party into the wee hours), but the bedroom was at the back of the unit, separated by the living area, kitchen and bathroom. I didn’t hear any street noise at night. The location was very central. Overall, a terrific stay - highly recommended!
