Holiday rentals with beach access in Åkersberga

This was a 3 week work visit - fantastic. I’ll look to stay here again without a doubt!

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). We spent 13 days in Sweden and loved both the apartment and the people and the surroundings. Anyone who simply needs peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of this world is very well served here.

Great place to stay, very comfortable and with the boardwalk a couple of minutes away walking, you can really have yourself a relaxing time in this apartment

We stayed at Christian and Jaquemine's place for 30 days, and it was our first Airbnb experience. The flat is in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. The nearby areas are perfect for hiking, with beautiful lakes, islets, beaches, and green forests with deer and other wildlife. Although the location seems far from the city on the map, frequent buses to Slussen take just 30 minutes, making it easy to reach the city centre whenever we wanted. I worked remotely during our stay, and the internet connection and workspace were excellent. The flat has everything one might need, and we never had issues wanting specific items, making it ideal for longer stays. I slept in both sleeping areas, and both were comfortable and spacious. The hosts were welcoming and kind. When my flight was postponed, they kindly offered to store my luggage even after check-out. They provided many thoughtful offers, showing how helpful and caring they are. I have no complaints and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time in Stockholm! After the daily sightseeing program, then quickly to the quiet suburb with subway and bus, good transport links. Relaxed end to the day in a nice area by the lake. Thomas even picked us up from the train at check-in and showed us how and where the subway goes, the bus stops and shopping, explained everything super. The apartment was perfectly furnished with everything you need, very nice Nordic simple and functional, very spacious, bathroom with bathtub and shower. Kitchen with everything sufficiently equipped. The contact with Thomas and Madeleine was very warm, never intrusive and always courteous. We had a perfect vacation (in wonderful summer weather) and thank the two very much for their hospitality. We would come back anytime!

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

It was our first visit to Stockholm and this stay made it memorable. Peaceful, green surroundings, walking distance from train station, tidy and well fitted apartment. Our host, Ingela was approachable and frindly and showed lot of concern for us. Overall, a perfect exprrience.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Cozy cottage on Yxlan. We were four adults and two small children, the cottage had everything we needed and it was very close to the sea.

A very nice cottage that we rented for a group of 5 people for two days. Very fresh and nice, perfect for a little “get away” from Stockholm.

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

Very sweet and helpful hosts who responded quickly to our message and any doubts. We lacked nothing in the apartment and enjoyed every morning and evening the beautiful view from the covered balcony or from the roof terrace. The apartment was beautifully cleaned all over when we arrived and contained all the listed amenities. Everything worked smoothly. A really nice and clear guide to the home was provided to us. Definitely a home that gets the best recommendation from here.

Everything went great! Lina was very kind, accepted us a little earlier than the check-in time, for which we are grateful. It is quiet and peaceful nearby, there is a park where you can walk and very beautiful nature. There is a transport nearby that can take you anywhere. Everything is convenient and very cozy. There are also supermarkets with everything you need. Plus, there are places to eat. We are very grateful for the warm welcome🥰!!

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Absolutely loved our stay at Stefan’s place. He was a very friendly and accommodating host, easy to communicate with, and made us feel warmly welcome from the start. The apartment was exactly as advertised – nicely decorated, well-equipped, and in a peaceful building despite being right in the heart of “Knivsöder.” The highlight was definitely the narrow balcony with its charming glimpse of the water – perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening drink. The fold-out couch was surprisingly comfortable thanks to the proper mattress, and everything we needed was on hand. The only drawback was the spotty internet connection, especially from the bed. Online meetings worked from the kitchen counter (albeit not at lightning speed), so we assume this is more about the router’s location near the front door and the thick walls than the service itself. Hopefully Stefan can improve it with a repeater or router upgrade – in which case the stay would easily go from five to “six stars.”

My family and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The highlight for me was the beautiful, newly built glassed-in terrace—such a perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The location couldn’t be better—beautiful views, access to public transit and just a short walk to a great selection of restaurants. Host was very good to check in and quickly answer questions. We loved our stay and hope to be back.

Always such a pleasure to stay at Sara's place, which is clean, spacious, peaceful and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Daffodils in the bedrooms was a lovely, thoughtful touch of Spring. Thank you for everything Sara!
