Holiday rentals with a balcony in Ain

The apartment is as described. It is quiet and clean. Bedding is pretty good. You have to run a little between the 2 entrance doors and the difficult spiral staircase with a suitcase. This allows you to know your level of fitness. Very well located, it allows for a walk in the city center and access to many transport (metro, bus, bike). It is not very bright, but in strong heat, it keeps its freshness for the return of the evening.

We had a great stay in this well-equipped and well-appointed apartment, a little noise on the weekend because there are two bars at the foot of the building opposite but it doesn't bother you very much unless you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, you are a stone's throw from restaurants, the opera house, the town hall, Place des Terreaux and especially a parking lot at Pradel and the Vélo'v stand where you can borrow an electric or non-electric bike (great city for bike transport).

I liked the apartment overall, especially that they had the amenities advertised - coffee maker, fridge, ironing facilities, conditioners in both bedroom and living room. It was very easy to communicate with the host and Guest Ready is very welcoming. The apartment itself is in quiet neighbourhood and very sunny, that's great that there are closable and non-transparent window shutters to sleep well. Bed and sofa are comfortable to sleep on. However, very close to the apartment there is railway where many homeless peope live in tents, probably not a good place to walk around late at night. On the other side of the railway, access to the center of the town is walkable and close. Also, the air conditioner block is right on the balcony, which makes it very hot if you have conditioners turned on.

Accurate listing, clean, well-appointed. Julien is a very responsive host, concerned about the well-being of his hosts. Only downside for us, the person who welcomed us did not show us the parking spot which was a bit difficult to find in a very dark place and after 800 km of road. The parking is located in the "residents" part of the Lidl car park, level minus 2, on the left against the wall from the arrival at least 2, it is an open location, right next to the passage of cars and not a box with a door. That said, once found we were very happy to use it. We'll come back to Julien's place if we have the chance 😊

The +: central location, many shops, metro nearby, spacious and bright apartment, comfortable bedding, overlooks courtyard so very quiet, the host is proactive in sending all explanations. The cons: no key box, only one set of keys and need for a beep to access the apartment, which means that all occupants must be together to access the apartment. A bathroom in the apartment that is dependent on one of the bedrooms. 4 coffee cups in an apartment for 6… Pipe smell in the toilets. 2 bedrooms with double bed, otherwise sofa bed in the living room but very comfortable. The decoration may seem a little dated, but it has its charm. In conclusion, a good experience, I recommend it. Finally, the few remarks are related to the fact that it is an apartment in its original state.

Once again, great for our business trip. The basement parking and balcony are really nice. The bathroom could be improved but nothing mean. See you soon
