Holiday rentals with a kayak in Agder

We spent 9 days at Lene's house, and we loved it very much. Even though the weather was mostly rainy and overcast, we enjoyed the spectacular view from the house. Nature around is stunning, going for a drive gives you a surprise at every turn of the road, there so many beautiful fjords. We were concerned about the street right next to the house, but the traffic is moderate and it didn't disturb us at all. The house is meticulously clean, and it looks the way you expect after seeing the images. Lene is very responsive and friendly, when we had a question about heating and using the stove, she came immediately out to show us how it works, and she gave us some helpful information about the area. All in all it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely like to come again, maybe in spring when there is a better chance to have some sun.

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little squeezed 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it worked easily to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, and the response was quick and nice. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

Great place to stay for small and big. Nice place to have as a starting point when you want to visit the great Sørlandsbanen around.

Had an incredibly great stay here in Rasvåg! The accommodation is undisturbed, at its own height, overlooking Rasvåg and a lovely sea view. Good amenities, and nice garden. Here you can really enjoy the silence and peace, preferably just with a quiet boat ride in the background. Nature and wildlife close by, with both sheep and deer, as the nearest neighbor. Short distance to both mountains and the sea, with opportunities for fantastic great nature experiences, and other activities! pleasant local environment, and very pleasant hosts :)

Very cozy and well equipped house in a super location. It was easy to communicate with Tove throughout the stay. Here we could be longer!

Great place with plenty of space and everything we needed! The kids had a great time with animals, playground, and lavvo – like coming to another home. Homeowner was easy to contact. We are super happy and would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay in Terje’s house. He was a great communicator and it was perfect for 2 Young families to have a long weekend away and only 20 mins drive from Dyreparken. Make sure you have bedsheets and towels with you and I am sure you will be very happy there. Great place and Great understanding host - highly recommended.

Can’t recommend this beautiful cottage enough! Hosts were so helpful and welcoming. Perfect spot for a peaceful stay. Hosts cats were super cute and friendly!!

Catherine's house is the definition of idyll. The location is simply fantastic. Have breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the countryside and watch the chirping boats: priceless! The garage space is a short walk from the house and the surroundings with the houses are like a painting. Only the bedrooms are a little tight.

We stayed for 4 nights in Renate's home in July 2024. Large and nice house with a fantastic location, and many opportunities for activating small and large. Highly recommended and will be happy to come again.

Very nice and spacious house with large living area and smaller bedrooms. Beautiful landscapes yet close to a village and the coast. We spend a lovely day at the nearby river beach!

We very much enjoyed our 10 night stay with our 2 kids. Remote, relaxed, serene, but also close enough to small towns for bakeries, groceries, cafes, playgrounds etc. A family home where the hosts live, huge garden out the back with lots of kiddie activities (wasn’t in pictures) with all the homely details you get from living at someone’s house v a holiday rental. Hosts provided everything for the kids (beds, high chairs, toys) which made the stay extra relaxed. Gorgeous view panoramic from the living space with great balcony. Comfortable place to base your stay out of, whether chilling on the balcony, in the yard (which has its own gym btw), short walks to the water and nature trails or day trips by car around the area. Thanks a lot for sharing the place with us!

Completely consistent with the description. We felt comfortable from the first moment. The location and the available items (tennis, bicycles, kayaks, etc.) offer an incredible amount of possibilities for a great vacation. The cabin has a somewhat steep climb, but it's definitely worth it! A great house where we were allowed to spend cozy holidays! It is one hour from the port in Kristiansand. It was so warm that we did not use the sauna. But in the shower and sauna house you could shower wonderfully (warm of course ) and also do laundry. A washing machine is also provided. Toilet is a lavatory in an extra cottage. The comfort is the brilliant view:) In the house itself everything we needed was everything we needed! There is no hot water in the main house - but a pot to heat on the stove so you can wash dishes. Four of us traveled and used the beds in the house. There was also an extra 'guest house‘... with another five beds. There are two kayaks and a rowing boat on the lake. Life vests are also available. What can I say?! It was perfect for us! Thank you very much for sharing these fantastic spots of earth.

Me and the family have had a fantastic long weekend in this great cabin in idyllic surroundings. Spacious cabin with good beds and an unbeatable view. Friendly communication with the host who responds quickly to inquiries. This is truly a gem that we can highly recommend. We would love to come back.
