Cottage holiday rentals in Africa

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

Elena’s place was well provisioned and a home away from home. The outside patio was spectacular with lounges, chairs, tables, hot tub, and even a ping pong table! The one challenge was the windy roads getting there. Extraordinary scenery, but keep your eye on the road! Great home base for rock climbing at Fataga and Sorrueda.

המקום שוכן באיזור מופלא בעין כרם ומאפשר תצפית מעולה על היער המסעדות שיש בסביבה מאוד טעימות ונעימות האירוח היה קסום מאוד משביל הכניסה ועד הנרות ליד הגקוזי אני ובת וזכרתי התחתנו באותו יום וביקשתי מאנג׳ה להגיע מוקדם מהשעה של הצ׳ק אין והיא הסכימה בלי שום בעיה היה אירוח מקסים ונעים מאוד מומלץ לאוהבי טבע ונופש נעים ופסטורלי!

This is a fantastic place to stay. The house is immaculate.! In a beautiful setting. Very quiet and peaceful. The jacuzzi is a great added bonus!! Very highly recommended. Absolutely would go back again.!!!!! Gabriella is right there replying to any needs straight away.

Он очень колоритный и эстетичный, со множеством национальных деталей в интерьере, которые позволяют окунуться в турецкую культуру- то чего нам очень хотелось. И конечно этот дом для желающих уединения и спокойствия. С практичной точки- дом обеспечен всем необходимым для современного человека . Джакузи на закате с видом на горы- отдельное бесценное удовольствие .

We had a fantastic stay! The service was excellent, the space was clean, private, and exactly as shown in the photos and description. We loved having our own private hot tub and braai area – such a relaxing touch. The location offered easy access to all amenities, and any questions we had were quickly and helpfully answered. Echt een mooie locatie aan zee op een zonnig deel van het eiland. Goede uitvalsbasis voor verschillende wandelingen. Dorpje zelf is weinig te doen. Locatie is precies zoals op de foto’s, met 2 personen perfect.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen, traditionellen Haus. Wir liebten es! Es ist sehr geräumig, draußen wie wie drinnen gibt es viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und es waren sehr viele Extras vorhanden. Inmitten alter Olivenbäume konnten wir im Schatten entspannen und die Stille genießen. Der kleine Pool war perfekt für eine Erfrischung! Es gibt einige Restaurants, welche wir zu Fuß durch die griechische Landschaft erreichen konnten. Einige der schönsten Strände waren gut erreichbar. Viele Empfehlungen erhielten wir von der tollen Gastgeberin. Dimitra hatte uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit kleinen Annehmlichkeiten gefüllt, sodass wir nach der Anreise Essen und Entspannen konnten. So einen großzügigen Empfang haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir können es sehr empfehlen und möchten wiederkommen!

La Casita de la Praia est une véritable pépite. Très bien située, calme et facile d'accès. Bercée par le clapotis de l'océan et la douceur du climat au coeur d'un écran de verdure. Nous avons adoré. Merci pour cet agréable séjour !

Viví is the queen of Zaros. Her hospitality and her food are absolutely amazing. Her apartments/studios are very well equipped for cooking and staying in for dinner, but why would you want to do that when you can walk 5 minutes to her restaurant and have a 5+ course amazing Greek meal with wine for 15€ per person?? And the breakfast that is included is huge and wonderful. My new favorite is her Greek yogurt blended with whipped cream with the ripest strawberries and a honey drizzle. But every morning is different as is every dinner. And her moussaka, wow!!! And while everyone we’ve met from Crete is amazingly nice and hospitable, Viví sets the standard. And Zaros is such a cool little town. Go to Kurtis olive oil and meet Nikos (he’s as amazingly friendly as Viví) and get 3 bottles of oil and several packages of olives and orange marmalade and olive oil soaps etc and spend less than 19€. We spent 2 weeks on the coast and I wish it had been here.

Der Urlaub auf Madeira war nicht zuletzt wegen der tollen Wohnung in der Woodloversvilla unvergesslich! Jardim do Mar ist ein wunderschöner Ort im Südwesten mit sehr guter Gastronomie, ruhig gelegen mit Zugang zum Meer. Von dort hatten wir einen guten Startpunkt die Insel mit ihren vielfältigen Möglichkeiten zu erkunden! Am Abend haben wir die tolle Stimmung am Haus genossen! Auch das nachhaltige Konzept von Ruben und Lúcio haben uns sehr gut gefallen! Madeira und die Woodlovers sind unbedingt zu empfehlen immer wieder eine Reise wert! Petra und Alex

What a great cottage in a beautiful location - all the amenities, great fireplace for winter, private and peaceful. This is a modern, light-filled, well-furnished space giving you all you need to relax and enjoy your time away. At the same time, it's in a beautiful, peaceful location between Sedgefield (10 minutes away) and Knysna (20 mins away). Anne is a perfect host - responsive, thoughtful, also giving clear communication/directions. It's close to hiking areas and 10-15 mins from a stunning, dog-friendly beach. Great for people travelling with dogs. Thank you Anne!

Our stay at this Longonot Loft was absolutely fantastic! The location was incredible, offering breathtaking views and a truly peaceful escape. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the cozy fireplace. We would highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a memorable mountain getaway!

The River Cottage is the perfect retreat if you're looking to unwind by the water, surrounded by nature and warm hospitality. Akosua, our host, made my stay memorable with her friendly, easygoing nature and sweet gifts of fresh fruit and homemade cookies. I stayed two nights with my one-year-old son, who loved running across the lawns, playing on the porch, and greeting Akosua’s dogs. He’d agree with a 10 out of 10 rating! The cottage is simple but charming, with a handy kitchenette for meals. A highlight was the hammock and platform overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing and watching canoes glide past. I didn’t kayak, but others did and clearly enjoyed it. You may interact with guests in other cottages, which is pleasant but never intrusive. Even with background sounds from nearby bars and churches, the overall vibe is peaceful and refreshing. Highly recommended for a slow, nature-filled escape. I'll be sure to return.

Absolutely magical stay. We had the best time away from reality. Secluded and cozy with the inside fire going all day. Loved the little trail around the property. Will definitely be booking again in the future and might bring our daughter with us the next time. Thanks Mia

Esperanza is a wonderful host – she greeted us with flowers and fresh papaya from her garden, which was such a warm and personal touch. The place is absolutely beautiful and incredibly quiet – all you hear during the day are the waves and birds. At night, we even heard the gecko canar making its funny little sounds – a unique and charming experience! We felt completely relaxed and connected to nature. Would definitely love to come back!

Daniel and Silverio were great hosts, so very helpful and friendly. The cottage was a perfect little get away, absolutely stunning, a great balance of old and modern. So peaceful waking up to open curtains overlooking the sea that viewed for miles. We were surprised that it also wasn’t too close, or so far, from the local shops, restaurants and cafes.

This is our second year in a row staying at this beautiful Airbnb, and we hope to make it an annual tradition!

Rene was extremely hospitable and informative. We loved the back garden with tortoises and a play area for kids and a lovely view. The place also had plenty of toys for kids. I also enjoyed the deck with chairs and had my morning coffee outside every day. We helped ourselves to a lovely white wine and had plenty of choices at a very good rate. Thanks Rene and Martine for the friendliness and lovely chats to point us in the right direction. We hope to meet you again one day.

Wir haben wunderbare 2 Wochen in dem kleinen Häuschen von Javier verbracht. Die Ruhe und tolle Lage mit Aussicht auf die Küste und den Teide haben wir genossen und uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Häuschen ist modern und funktional eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt, um den gesamten Norden und den Teide in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Pascale’s place is just as gorgeous as the pictures look. She was extremely supportive in communication and helping me navigate the area, as well. If you do not have a car, make sure to get food at a grocery store before venturing to the Airbnb! Taxi service is rare; Pascale had to help me by calling a taxi, which was very kind of her. There is no AC! Windows help air the inside space out but you will get bugs inside, and they will be most attracted to the uncovered bulbs inside at night! Just a heads up. The playa was perfect in temperature and a short walking distance from the house. The outdoor space is a dream. Hope you enjoy if you decide to book! Thank you Pascale 🙏🏼
