Extremely beautiful space. We could tell upon entering that the space was treated and decorated with love and care. The location was extremely convenient for our time exploring York and there were clear manuals and instructions provided in case we needed to use any of the electronics.

We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Great location with parking directly outside. Walking distance straight down the A19 to the Minster. Was very homely and comfortable with everything you’d need. Would stay again when visiting York.

Fab place in an amazing and convenient location right in the heart of York and within walking distance of some great restaurants, pubs, cafes and attractions

From start to finish the booking with Carole was sooooo easy. Details of how to find the place were good, we got in the building easily, to find a really well laid out place. It was really clean, with all the expected facilities, even down to lots of pots and pans. The unexpected was the bottle of Wine and the cookies, the crisps were well received by 1 of the party, but he is a heathen Aussie, imagine liking salt & vinegar crisps, no matter how posh. But, Carole, the thought was beautiful. A 5 minute walk to York City Centre, with some decent Restaurants enroute, we did try some. This place is great for any age group, the baby of the group was 74, everything in the Apartment worked, except we couldn't get the subtitles of ITVX, is that due to due age? Not sure. The rooms were spacious with everything we could want. We British from the part will be back and would recommend, highly, this wonderful place. Thank you Carole.

We loved our stay at this property - it was a super location steps to all the sights and restaurants in York, but quiet and comfortable. Great water pressure in the lovely, clean shower and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for exploring amazing York!

Nice little place, walkable from the city centre even with kids who don’t want to walk anywhere! Close to shops, restaurants, cinema and an excellent base for exploring York. Hosts very proactive with all comms so always confident of what was going on.

Very nice place to stay near downtown York. Walk was a little complicated due to construction. Excellent accommodations. House was very clean and owners responsive. Highly recommend 😊

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Immaculately presented little hideaway just outside the centre within easy walk for food and drinks. The place is exceptionally homely, spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Free parking is less than a minute walk away. Jim is an exceptional host and highly communicative. Will return and would highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house in York. The property is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, making it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the amenities were excellent – from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The location was ideal – just a short (15-20mins) and pleasant walk to the centre of York, so we could explore all the sights, shops, and restaurants without needing a car. It was the perfect base for our trip, and we really appreciated how peaceful the neighborhood was despite being so close to everything. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting York – we’d definitely stay here again!

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. Angela was very welcoming and friendly, she gave helpful and easy to follow instructions to find and access the property. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was great, nice walks nearby and well placed for travelling further afield. Would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in an incredibly convenient location, yet the street is quiet and peaceful — the perfect combination. Inside, everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and made us feel right at home. It was a truly comfortable and relaxing space. Beautifully presented one bedroom space with ample bathrooms and living area. Close to the centre of Malton, pubs and restaurants are an easy walk and the train station is just a short walk which makes a day trip to York super easy.

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! we had a fantastic week at clives riverside apartment. the view was spectacular especially on a sunny day. the surrounding area and town centre was a lovely place and plently to do with nice tea rooms and restraunts. we also got given some great reccomendations from our hosts. When we arrived we were suprised with fresh flowers in the living room and a supply of essentials for breakfast, such as milk, butter, crumpets, etc. Thank you to Clive and Julie who were very friendly, helpful and fast responding during our stay. and a special mention to Garvin and Anne Marie who helped us with all of our needs, help us find where we wanted to go and were very friendly. Thanks again Clive, Julie, Garvin and Anne Marie for our special holiday!

Best airbnb experience to date. Personable, responsive and communicative hosts. Immaculate presentation of the apartment and absolutely spotless with excellent attention to detail. Everything to optimise your guest experience has been considered here by Mark & Ali. Hassle free parking arrangements and so close to the centre. Really comfortable beds and sofa with high quality furnishings and linen. Would absolutely recommend this place and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in York after staying here - this experience has definitely created a whole new airbnb benchmark!
