Family-friendly holiday rentals in Abrantes

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

in terms of communication, the amenities and the location... simply fantastic for me as a surfer. has everything you need, very good surf spots right outside the front door after relaxing in the hot tub on the roof terrace. surrounded by fine restaurants, just amazing :) is definitely worth it!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Isabele and Renato’s beautiful home, and from the moment we arrived, it exceeded all our expectations.They welcomed us with an amazing hospitality gesture-a table generously covered with local delicacies that made us feel instantly at home.The house itself is spacious, sparkling clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.The terrace is perfect for relaxing meals or evening chats, and there’s plenty of room for children to play safely. We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

It was a week of well spent vacation, where we had everything we needed in the apartment (utensils/services/machines) as communicated to us by Mr. Luis. In the vicinity there are excellent places of gastronomy with good price/quality ratio. The place is quiet and with good access both for walking and to discover new destinations by car.

You can tell that the family actually use the house as it had everything we needed. The children appreciated all of the toys.

Great place. Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living dining kitchen, and a big balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Very clean and well appointed apartment !!

Wow!! What a gorgeous house, so peaceful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The back garden and surrounding town is stunning. Thank you Anabela, your hosting, thoughtful gifts and quick communication made our first night in Portugal a highlight. Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return if we come back to Portugal!

Elisa's place is a beautiful, quiet, perfect home base for any stay in Nazaré. You can feel the care taken to ensure a great visit. It's just removed enough to feel very calm, but incredibly quick to get closer to the busier areas on foot. Comfy beds, common space to gather as a group. Would stay here again any day! Check out / support the specialty coffee shop Colour Beans & the surf school Surf4You! A driving note: Getting there by car can be difficult, but Elisa does a good job of assisting (she's very responsive and kind). You have to go up a small side street that looks like it may be a one way street to get to the garage entrance (then head inside to get the garage door opener from the apartment). Once you find it everything is smooth sailing. Very nice having a dedicated space for the car.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

We had an amazing two week stay at the house. It was absolutly beautifull. We felt at home the second we arrived. Everything was perfect.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Maria’s apartment was charming and well-equipped and beautifully situated in the center of town—but slightly removed from the noise and hustle. She was a very gracious host and we were very glad we stayed there.

Fully renovated and equipped historic stone house; white towels and bed linen; comfortably accommodated five adults; new appliances; all rooms are very spacious; the more rural location requires the use of one's own vehicle. However, the location is strategic for visiting historic cities in the region. The Roman road behind the property and the property itself are of particular interest. The host is to be congratulated.

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

Fantastic spot, great accommodation Mr Fernando was very helpful and polite. Responding to all questions. Some historical areas of interest close by too.

it's a lovely house and everything was perfect. I can really suggest here to everyone if you would like to spend a weekend in the swimming pool and a beautiful garden with full of peace. it is very clean and owner, Augusto is a friendly landlord 🙂 we will be come again! Muito obrigada

Such a wonderful place! Cosy and quiet. It was the perfect place to unwind and Vitor was a gracious and helpful host.

This was our second visit and Alice was as friendly, welcoming and hospitable as ever. The house is spotless, well equipped and comfortable with superb facilities across the site. The pool was fantastic, the locality quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning again.

We had a great time at Casa Sobreiro. The accommodation is excellent and convenient for visiting lots of places. We loved the pool. We also thought the Buddha Eden garden which we visited on our way back to Lisbon was amazing and well worth a visit. Thank you Crissy and David for everything.
