Family-friendly holiday rentals in Santarém

The hosts were very nice and always responsive. The apartment and pool area were as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, there were many flies in the area in July, and an insect repellent spray is helpful. Nevertheless, our stay was very nice and recommended the Airbnb.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

This apartment is spacious, very clean, centrally located and nicely decorated. Hosts are so sweet and made us feel welcome and cared for. We would definitely visit again!

Anne was super helpful and gracefully let me change my booking at the last minute. Quick to respond. Her 'assitant' Rachelle who was there and took care of the check-in was equally friendly and responsive. The apartment was great, ideal for a family of 4 or 5. One balcony looks directly out to the beach and the Atlantic, which is literally just across the road. Private, secure parking. Very clean. Very quiet in April. Nazare and the big waves (if you are lucky enough) are just 12 min drive down the road.

It was a week of well spent vacation, where we had everything we needed in the apartment (utensils/services/machines) as communicated to us by Mr. Luis. In the vicinity there are excellent places of gastronomy with good price/quality ratio. The place is quiet and with good access both for walking and to discover new destinations by car.

What an amazing stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the necessary utensils for a perfect stay. I also have to thank Adriana and her father for the ease of communication and all the attention given! It will certainly be a place to visit again!

Truly magical. A wonderful flat with everything you’d ever need with equal size terrace you could spend all day on. The view is spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Parking was easy and there was a lovely bakery just a minute walk away. Edite was a wonderful host. Nazaré and its surroundings were beautiful and definitely a highlight of our trip.

I loved it, I went with my dog. Great for resting. You can take a walk around the space. I loved it.

Very interesting accommodation, lots of antique and original items, but unfortunately there is no place to store clothes and suitcases. The sleeping places are upstairs, it is impossible to lift suitcases there. The mill is old, so you can smell the musty smell. Beautiful garden.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

We had a wonderful stay at Joäo’s place. All the personal touches just made the stay that extra bit special. It was great having a kitchen, parking spot and washing machine. Highly recommend this accommodation ☺️

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

The house is everything we could expect from the photos and description and host Filipa is very friendly and attentive, without being boring. You've exceeded expectations. An experience to repeat!

Henri's house is exceptional. Well located, clean and very nice. It is in a very quiet area but close to everything. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Henri is a charming, very polite and helpful person. When we return to this area of Portugal, we will choose your house again.

Very reliable venue all round. Good for groups of all sizes. Real sense of privacy but easy to walk out to shops and cafes. Lots of different spaces to hang out outdoors in sun or shade. Good for big bbqs round the pool. Bedrooms well equipped with hot, strong showers.

I loved the house of Carlota, celebrated my 50th birthday as a family , with all the amenities as if I was at home The pool is great as is the outdoor space. Very spacious house for groups . I really want to go back

One of the best Airbnb where we stayed with family. 3 bedrooms with great beds, 2 bathrooms, a very nice small courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue. Very well-equipped house (pod coffee machine with pods, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). José and his wife were very attentive to us: great basket of wine, cheese and cold cuts on our arrival, hearty breakfast every morning with homemade and artisanal products... Really perfect!!!

A wonderful place to reset the bustling life of everyday life! An extremely clean and beautiful house with everything we need at our disposal. Highlight the wonderful garden and the swimming pool. Finally, we commend Sara's friendliness and her availability! We already look forward to having a reunion in this amazing home! 😊
