Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

There were three of us with my cat and we all felt very comfortable! A lovingly furnished apartment in a perfect location. The bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. We will certainly come back again! Annette is a very nice hostess!

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Karin's stay was great. Everything was neatly clean and as described in the advertisement. The beach is a 30-minute walk away. First through the forest and then through the beautiful dunes. Shops are easy to reach. In short, we enjoyed and I will definitely recommend Karin's accommodation.

With my friends, we spent the weekend at Petra. The place was just perfect!! The accommodation matches the photos perfectly, and it even looks bigger in real life than in the photos. Everything was very clean and the stay went very well, thank you again!!

A week to relax among the bustle of the birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside, and in good weather, a very pleasant garden to sit in. There is plenty to do in the area, and shops are close by. Everything is available for you to cook yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt at ease.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet place on the edge of a beautifully maintained park. There is a beautiful, green garden at the cottage. The dog can run freely in the enclosed garden and you can sit nicely sheltered in the garden. It's lovely and quiet! The cottage is cozy and there is plenty of food and drink ready. We have never experienced this before. There were even gifts for the dog! We have completely relaxed and have had wonderful walks in the forest. You can step into the forest right next to the cottage. Actually, we never go to the same place more than once, but here we consider it. Thank you Alan and Karin.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

A perfect stay! The location is ideal, surrounded by nature yet close to the city. The terrace is amazing, and the cozy living room with a fireplace was the perfect spot to relax. Fred was incredibly welcoming, surprising us with sparkling wine and cake upon arrival. Highly recommend – would love to return!

We felt very comfortable in your chalet. Voorthuizen is very central, you can quickly reach various excursion options. For example, we were at the Aqua Mundo swimming pool in Eemhof in 30 minutes or at Sprookjeswonderland in 45 minutes. The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. By far one of the very best Airbnbs! We felt welcome here. Very sweet hosts. Upon arrival something nice for our little ones (sweet!) and everything was ready for them. A camping bed for our baby was also placed next to our bed on request. Top service! What really stood out is that the chalet was very well maintained and clean, it smelled wonderfully fresh. The chalet is compact but everything we needed and conveniently furnished. The hosts have made a lot available: coffee, oil, herbs, dishwashing detergent and lots of toys! The garden around the chalet is very beautiful and spacious with 2 cozy (covered!) terraces. Even in the pouring rain, we sat outside for a while. An extensive review, but we were also very happy. Communication went very smoothly, Joke and Henk are easily accessible via airbnb or the app and very friendly 🥰 Thank you for this nice stay, you will see us again! 😄

It was just nice. Perfect for a few days of relaxation. At check-in, Ellen explained everything to us and from there the relaxation already starts. Everything you need is there. There were plenty of towels and even bathrobes. And if you're lucky, the cat will even come over for a cuddle. We will definitely be back

Very charming house by the river. Great location to visit Amsterdam. Beds really comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Great sound system. We spent good times and Katelijne is a great host. She is very responsive and helpful.

Angelique was a good and friendly host. She greeted us right on the street, so we didn't have to look any further for the accommodation. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The location on the water is really good. You have your privacy here. We were also very pleased about the food provided. We had a very nice time.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this unique stay, the ship and all its amenities were perfect for families. We all had a great time and ship ticked all the boxes. There was enough space to spend some time with our family stayed at a hotel walk distance in the charming town Wijk bij Duurstede. We highly recommend this stay if your after ‘something different and fun’.
