House holiday rentals in Živogošće

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Patria Suite. The accommodation was perfect - luxurious, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The private terrace and roof top pool are really special. However, even better than this were the hosts. We wish we could give more than 5* for this! All so warm, friendly and welcoming (but never intruding on our privacy - you would never know that they live on the lower floors, other than they are there to help when ever you need anything). They provided everything we needed for our 7 month old baby (even buying a new mattress for the cot, baby bath and toys especially for him!). The fresh fruit and vegetables from Damira’s garden are spectacular. It was such a special place to stay. The care and attention to detail from the family made this THE best Air BnB we have ever stayed in.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is just like the photos, with amazing views out to sea and across to Split. A fantastic outdoor space with the heated pool and outdoor kitchen where we prepared and cooked all our meals. The bedrooms were comfortable, with good temperature control, blackout shutters, and well sound insulated from any noises outside. Recommend the short hike up the hill behind the house for even more amazing views in all directions. Nina and Petar were great hosts, proactively making contact ahead of arrival and departure, meeting on our schedule, providing great recommendations for things to see and do, and being easily reachable if needed.

The most special place with stunning views but secluded and private. Thomas’s father who’s vineyard it is was super friendly and looked after us giving us wine, dates and fruit (from the garden) The cliff bar / cafe Corni Petar just to the right at the bottom of the drive then down the windy track on the left is amazing. Lovely chilled environment, quiet music and cold beer - visiting is a must. The beach below is very special and as we were at the start of the season practically empty which made it all the more mesmerising. Lots of lovely restaurants in Jelsa but a car / taxi is preferable to get there. Stari Grad and Vrboska are also very cute.

Wow! I really think this could be one of the most breathtaking views we have ever had on holiday, it’s just amazing. The house is beautiful. Plenty of space for a family of four and it is equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t spend much time inside though because the outside area is just so lovely. The heated pool was fantastic for the children and the summer kitchen is just brilliant. We have never stayed in such a perfect place. The local area is beautiful. We went hiking and Petar also recommended a rafting company that we went out with and had a brilliant time. Both trips were great ways to explore. We also went to some beaches that Petar recommended and spent a day around Mostar which was also incredible. A fantastic holiday all round. Thank you

We loved having a private patio and pool. We used the kitchen a lot and had a great time here. The hosts were super helpful and we responsive. I'd recommend having a rental car here as the road to get here is steep at times. The view was so wonderful and was a big reason we decided to stay here as well.

Alles was goed, prachtige villa splinternieuw en brandschoon. Mooi gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Luka is een zeer behulpzame host en reageert heel snel. Absolute aanrader om hier te verblijven.

Lovely Villa, beautiful outdoor space with pool and sun terrace. Lovely access to the sea via Beach with padel board and kayak. Very nice spot.

Adriagate n'était pas notre interlocuteur direct, mais tout c'est super bien passé. Notre contact sur place, Dinka, était sympa, accessible, disponible et nous a donner de très bons conseils. Merci pour tous les produits de ienvenue laissés à notre intention.

Wunderschönes Steinhaus mit prächtigem Blick übers Meer. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Etwas abseits - ein Auto ist deshalb sehr empfehlenswert. Jovana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und reagiert rasch. Grosse Empfehlung!

Hele fijne accommodatie. Echt een aanrader! Wat fijn is, dat je makkelijk naar het dorpje kunt lopen waar je allerlei restaurants, kleine supermarkten en een gezellige kleine haven hebt. Echt een aanrader om een keer lokaal een bootje te huren. 1 puntje ter verbetering is de beperkte kastruimte voor je kleding. Wij waren met z’n vieren en dan is 1 kast wat weinig. Een tip is om het eten van de moeder van de eigenaar te bestellen. Is echt heerlijk!

We’ve had the best time at Antonia’s place in Hvar! Clear communication and always there if we need any help or local recommendations. Beautiful, light, clean and large apartment. Great balcony with a view. A free bottle of homemade wine in the fridge was such a nice touch! Antonia went over and above to help us!!! Doing kind gestures that we have never had any host do for us before. We had the best time at this apartment and can’t wait to be back! They pick you up and drop you off when you arrive so no bags carried. Book this apartment and your time in Hvar will be perfect. Everything you can want!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Milena and Mirko’s villa. From the moment we arrived, Milena made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality was truly above and beyond – always available, kind, generous and full of advice and local secrets.  Mirko was equally lovely – a kind-hearted host who regularly checked on the villa to make sure everything was perfect. He even brought us thoughtful little gifts during our stay, which made us feel extra special. The villa itself is immaculately maintained. The pool and hot tub are outstanding, and the outdoor summer kitchen is a dream come true – perfect for cooking and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The view from the villa gave us a true sense of peace and escape. We can't recommend this place enough. It’s clear that Milena and Mirko put their hearts into hosting this villa. We would definitely return.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa! Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, wo alles gut erreichbar ist. Marko ist ein super netter Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend, herzlich und immer für eine Empfehlung/einen Tipp zu haben 👍🏻 Die Villa ist gut gepflegt und sauber.

It was a wonderful stay. The house and the view are an absolute dream. The kitchen is really well equipped. We can highly recommend it!

Great accommodation with stunning views across the bay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was something for everyone and the toys and trampoline were a bonus for our 2 young kids. Ivana is a fantastic host - great communication and she provided lots of very useful information about property and the surrounding areas.

Exactly what we were hoping for. Relaxing, comfortable and private, surrounded by nature and few steps from the beautiful Adriatic. Grano was a wonderful host, warm, kind and super easy to communicate with. Thank you, Grano!

Vi har haft en fantastisk vistelse med det bästa värdparet man kan önska sig. Otroligt hjälpsamma och välkomnande. Vi blev nottgna med tur runt huset och i i kylen väntade en charkbricka. Bozena var också vänlig att handla frukost åt oss då vi anlände sent på kvällen. Vi fick alltid snabb respons på de frågor vi hade och fick bra rekommendationer på bla båtuthyrare. Huset var som på bilderna och vi trivdes otroligt bra där. Det ligger i en lugn och stilla by där vi i lugn och ro njöt av den fantastisla utsikten. Några dagar hängde vi bara vid den fina poolen och grillade. Det var första gången vi hyrde via airbnb och om detta sätter ribban har vi fortsatt otroligt höga förvåntningar. Hade vi kunnat stanna en vecka till hade vi gjort det. Fantastisk hus med ett fantastisk läge med magisk utsikt och ett värdpar som alltid fanns till hands. Wow wow wow🤩

Lidija and Ivica were exceedingly helpful, welcoming and friendly and the property is lovely, with superb views. The outside area is vast and very private. The inside, though small, is very well laid out and very well equipped. Lidija and Ivica were so helpful and generous and went out of their way to make our stay as good as it could be. We recommend them as hosts and their property without hesitation.

Nera je zelo prijazna in odzivna, se potrudi in pomaga. Stanovanje je bilo prijetno, čisto, veliko, ima na razpolago vse, kar potrebuješ. Zaliv je zelo lep, miren, prodnata plaža. Otok je zanimiv in nudi veliko lepih stvari. Teden je minil zelo hitro in ostajajo nama lepi spomini.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Croatia that combines comfort, convenience, and a warm, local touch, this apartment is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

We had a truly wonderful time here. Firstly, Branimir couldn't have been more responsive and helpful, always getting back to us quickly and being really helpful when we needed some advice regarding days out etc. The house itself is in a perfect location for those looking for a 'get away from it all' experience with privacy, peace and quiet and wanting beautiful surroundings, and are happy to drive for days out etc. We've stayed at several great places in previous years, and this one has been our favourite. We've never been back to anywhere twice, preferring to try new experiences....however, we loved this place so much, I wouldn't rule out coming back.
