Beautiful apartment style lodging in the outskirts of charming Guijo De Santa Barbara. Paloma and her husband went out of there way to make us comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics and they brought bread for breakfast each day. Additionally, the use of reclaimed wood and repurposed family heirlooms and farming antiques add a very special touch to this place. A short walk will bring you into town, where you can catch the low trail to the trabuquete. Walking or driving up the hill through town will allow a view from above, a close-up look at the Plaza de Toros, and beyond that, you can hike to the refugio. I’m thrilled that Guijo has this wonderful new accommodation!

Felisa is very charming, spectacular. Always available and attentive and advising what to do, where to go at all times. The house is impeccably clean, it smells great. An unparalleled welcome. 200% recommended, everything wonderful. We'll be back!

Very nice house, beautiful setting. We couldn't do anything nearby because our car broke down, but we did a route that left the village and we got lost taking a walk around the village, everything was beautiful. Looking forward to returning to discover more about the area. The views are unbeatable. Not to mention Carmen and Macu, always attentive and helpful. We had a great time and were very comfortable.

We spent a few days discovering the Jerte Valley in Esther's apartment. It is modern and renovated with excellent views as it appears in the description and photographs. We miss a little more utensils and cutlery in the kitchen for a family of 4. We targeted some flaws in the lighting and cleaning supplies that the host was able to properly address during our stay. Otherwise, we feel at home. I recommend it to stay at the Jerte Valley.

The place is beautiful and is located in a very bucolic area, it is designed and decorated with a lot of care and there is no lack of detail. It's a real pleasure to have breakfast on the deck. The road to access the village is in good condition considering it is a Natural Park, the village is very small but has several bars and shops to buy the basics. I recommend for those who stay here that you are going to do the boat tour in the Tagus, take a hiking trail visiting the cave paintings and the ruins of Monfragüe castle and make a night visit to the Astronomical Observatory (you can go from the house walking). Also as a warning to the urbanites that you are thinking of hosting, the house is very well equipped with some windows with great insulation power, closed you can't hear anything but if you open them to sleep you may be awakened by the roosters and sheep of the estate in front. There is air conditioning. The coffee maker works with ground coffee.

The accommodation is snowy and very well cared for with every detail. Very clean. It's nice to be in such a beautiful and comfortable place. When we return to this place, we will surely repeat Thank you

The place is wonderful, it is a small town but the apartment gives you all the facilities. Manuel and his partner have a modern space surrounded by nature perfectly adapted. To park, you find nearby places with no problem. They also have a commercial premises where to buy excellent bee products. There is a restaurant very close, and clear..the spectacular natural spaces. They indicated routes to visit very pleasant, they gave us all the directions. We were with our dogs in the space without any problem. Thank you!!!!!

the stay in this apartment was great , clean, spacious ,the location is very good and we found it easy to park in the surroundings. Both Juana in writing and her son by call treated us very well when we asked them any questions.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and well-located apartment with short distances to visit the main points of interest in the area (Valle del Jerte, Valle de La Vera, Monfragüe, etc.). They are mountain roads, but paved, safe and with short distances. Although it is advertised as a second floor, it is actually a first floor. It's like a ground floor and a first floor. The steps are not a problem, even though my wife and I have some mobility problems. There is only one air conditioning unit for the entire house, but since the rooms are distributed in a circular fashion, it is more than sufficient. Besides, it's not always necessary at night.

The apartment is located in a second without an elevator at the top of the village. You can park very close by. It was very clean and tidy and the kitchen is the right one. Slightly sparse on toilet paper and only one bag of trash for 4 days. Jesus explained what we could see and was very kind. It is a quiet place with the possibility of many routes.

Both the apartment and the location are perfect for spending a few quiet days. The area is beautiful and has a lot of things to see nearby. As for the hostess and her father, the two lovely people who were always attentive to anything we needed. The experience has been great, definitely if we return to the area we already know where we will stay!

The accommodation is a 10, but restaurants and everything else, if you don't have a reservation you don't eat or have dinner. Is the place worth it? Yes, but book before going to restaurants and more, the bars close at 4:00 p.m. and don't open until 7:00 p.m. This is on January 11, Saturday. I don't know if it will always be like this

They're lovely hosts! Fernando was attentive to everything from the moment we made the reservation, answering all the questions that came up. He clearly indicated the location of the accommodation and recommended places and restaurants to visit before arrival. The apartment was pristine and cared for in detail. They offered us several recommendations and places to visit in the valley that we listened to and it was a complete success. If we go back, we'll definitely stay here again.
