Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Zambezi River

We absolutely adored this place! The landscape provided a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. One of our favorite activities was going for walks along the fields to see the sunsets and waking up early to see the sunrises. We also spent a lot of time by the pool, which was very nice! Mandy, Rowland, and Pablo was incredibly kind to us, providing everything we needed as well as showing us their farm and their production. The food prepared by the cook Stanford never disappointed and we were all in all extremely satisfied with our stay! We payed to participate in a cooking class which was interesting and the food turned out very tasteful. We did expect that we would be cooking with the chef, when in reality we only observed him. However, we learned a lot from this and it was a good experience. We were five women in our early twenties staying here for three nights, and we highly recommend this place both to other friend groups, families, and couples of every age!

A perfect location. For hill walking inZomba, with a great Italian restaurant next door. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a hair braiding at local training centre run by the host.

We had a wonderful stay as we came up from the weekend during our medical rotation. The place was beautiful and was a relaxing getaway. The staff was very welcoming and ensured that our stay was as comfortable it could be. Definitely recommend!

Emily's house was the perfect base for us in the south of Lusaka. Beautiful garden area, extremely spacious rooms and kitchen - even solar back up power. Very easy and kind communication. Highly recommended!

Beautiful surroundings and felt like home from home. Home was immaculate and host was always on hand if you needed anything. Friendly and welcoming too. The extra bonus was the swimming pool which my daughter loved. Easy access to local amenities via indrive if you don’t have a car. Will definitely be back again.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was spotlessly clean with a beautifully maintained garden, complete with a lovely outdoor seating area and BBQ stand—perfect for a braai. Reliable 24/7 borehole water, solar power with a backup generator, and an electric gate provided added comfort and security. There was always someone available to assist if needed, which made the stay even more seamless. The location is ideal, especially for anyone visiting family nearby. I’ll definitely be booking this place again and again. Huge thanks to Blessing and Most for being such attentive and helpful hosts—any minor issues were resolved promptly. Highly recommended!

The place was really nice. Very nice place to stay, power back was just excellent, wouldn’t realize there are power issues in Lusaka. The place is very quiet and more private. Geyser was jut excellent and the place is always clean. Asim’s response rate and communication was just excellent. Definitely booking my next stay there.

The property is pristine, located right next to Lake Malawi and the staff were extremely helpful with the cooking, cleaning and management of our visit. A few power disruptions were mitigated by the back-up system but the stay was overall flawless. The owner must be an audiophile given the quality of surround sound installed in the house and also by the beautiful poolside.

This was one of my best findings so far as an outdoor person. I really enjoyed the area and will fully make use of my booking next time. It was a little bit of a walking distance from the road if you are using public transport but we didn’t mind as this was somewhat a spontaneous adventure. It felt peaceful, the community was really helpful since we arrived in the night and soaked by the rain. Staff was really hands on when we arrived, she made us feel warm practically, had such a lovely personality and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be returning for a longer break! Views were absolutely breathtaking

We loved staying at the cottage in Senga Bay. The setup of the house was perfect for a large group. It was very hot so the ceiling fans/ac were very helpful. Very nice access the the lake and the hanging bed/shaded sand area by the lake was a fave hangout spot.

Pam's place is fantastic. Loved the setup. The pool gave us much delight in the summer heat. The staff were proactive, helpful and very went out of their way to cater for our needs. Pam was responsive, kind and attentive. Definitely on our Hre wishlist forevermore !

We had a fantastic stay. The house was the perfect place for our group to base ourselves to explore the Falls and local area. Kerry was incredibly helpful, always on hand with recommendations and ideas. She arranged airport pick up, car hire, lent us kit for a picnic in the park, organised a river cruise. She couldn’t have been more helpful! Thank you so much!

This was a great place to stay for a few days. Benjamin was incredibly helpful with check-in instructions and recommendations for local taxis. The area feels safe and there is a housekeeper and night guard on site, both of whom were also friendly and helpful. The house was clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. Added bonus were the three lovely dogs at the property. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Loved our Stay! Jill’s place was even better than I expected—beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained. I especially appreciated how secure it was, with great security in place. The staff were friendly, well-trained, and helped with daily cleaning and laundry, which made our stay so much more comfortable. Jill was incredibly kind and accommodating to all our needs. Jenipher's place is worth the money. The apartment/house is clean, beautiful, spacious and children friendly. My family and I had a beautiful and restful stay to end our vacation in Zambia. Jenipher and her team were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. I recommend the place.

We spent a few days over the new year at Mariette's cottage with our 2 sons. Everyone had a great time. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and steps away from a private beach. It is very peaceful. Mariette kindly organised for us to buy fish to cook on the BBQ. We will definitely return when we are in Chinteche again.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ndola then this is it. Totally amazing place, a real home from home. Excellent host and great value for money!

Priscilla’s house was amazing, she and Ano are lovely hosts who granted us an early check-in, her daughter recommended some activities and places to checkout, her property is very close to the biggest malls which made it easy to access meals and shop, the wifi is good and we had hot water the whole time. I would highly recommend it and will be coming back

We wanted some where secure, clean and in a peaceful area and this exactly what we got. Given the power situation in Zambia this year. The inverter did the job automatically with a need for us to do anything and there was also a gas cooker readily available for cooking purposes. I was especially pleased that the fridge/freezer and other kitchen appliances worked with the inverter as other places do not provide this . The Property Manager Mary was super responsive there was a slight problem shower head and offered to send a plumber through at our Convenience Same to other issues, Very friendly, helpful and flexible it was a good choice and if chosen would be one you would not regret. We had amazing experience and it was worth it beautiful house Thank you Emma
