Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Yzerfontein

This place is incredible, and we felt privileged to stay there. It was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. It was a pleasure to use the furniture/ look at the art work. Also the beds and bedding were very very comfortable and it was a treat to use the bathrooms. We ate home cooked food by candlelight in the magnificent dining room (table was set and dressed by Noel). It was Noel, who greeted us, helped with our luggage and looked after the place that made the visit truly memorable- along with his little Corgi Maxine who made us feel right at home.

We had a wonderful stay. The house has charm and lots of character. We felt at home right away. We were surprised by the size of the house and how extremely well equipped it was, especially for large families. The cleanliness was irreproachable and the garden and yard neat and well maintained. Thank you Nandi for all your help and information! We will definitely be back.

First off, Belinda is a fantastic host—extremely responsive and clear in her instructions. In addition to Belinda’s great hosting, there’s a housekeeper and a gardener who are both incredibly kind and maintain the house in top form. The house itself is very spacious and even more impressive than the photos suggest. It features three large indoor kitchen areas and an outdoor Braai. If you love cooking, this place is a dream come true! The pool is wonderful, though it does occasionally collect pollen and leaves from the neighbors’ trees. The house can comfortably accommodate six adults, but we stayed with just two adults and a baby for most of our stay. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood, just a five-minute drive from Stellenbosch. There’s plenty to do nearby, offering the perfect balance of being close to Stellenbosch’s lively city center while still enjoying the peace and quiet. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!

We came with our 3 year old, 4 month old baby (and my mother also stayed with us) and the place was SO comfortable for all of us. I would have been happy if we stayed there our entire visit actually as we really had everything we needed. Kitchen crockery, cutlery, cookware and serving dishes were ample and varied. The dishwasher and washing machine worked well. There were little bins and laundry baskets in all the rooms and also more than enough plugs (which are small comforts airbnbs sometimes lack). Cupboard space is also very good. Beds and bedding were comfortable (although I prefer foam pillows). Marcy (their cleaner) was so playful with my son when she came in on our last day and Elaine and her husband were very warm people too when we met them at check-in and check-out so that also added to the experience. Basically, it is, in fact, as good as all the other reviews say ;)

We loved the place and all the extras like wood, spices, hand soaps, cleaning gear and the fact that the place allowed our fur babies. The water filter on the tap is awesome and all the amenities are super.

Tolles Haus mit ausreichend Platz für alle, sensationeller Blick über Kapstadt, Ausstattung hervorragend. Housekeeping 1 x die Woche inclusive, weitere jederzeit als extra buchbar, Auto steht in der Garage, alles sehr sicher. Mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, von hier aus ist man fast überall unter 30 min. (Stellenbosch, Kapstadt downtown, Golfplätze, Weingüter). Leider hat nur 1 Schlafzimmer Klimaanlage. Am Abreisetag Konten wir das Haus noch tagsüber nutzen.

This is magnificent beach house - the house is super comfortable and clean and invite’s you to relax and make yourself at home from the start. The meet and greet was warm and welcoming and easy. What’s really incredible is the level to which the kitchen is equipped, designed and put together - so unbelievably well - puts my own home kitchen to shame 🙂 we were a group of 4 adults - we each had a bed room and a bathroom and we’re very happy and comfy. To top it all the week had the most fab warm weather and the holiday will always hold very special memories for us of a fun fam vacay which gets 10/10 from us.

Wonderful apartment, clean and spacious - great location and excellent views. The hosts are prompt with their responses. Also equipped with fans and heaters to assist with the weather when necessary.

We had a lovely stay, the space is beautiful and peaceful. Good quality linen and everything you need in the kitchen. Jannineke is a friendly and helpful hostess and made us feel right at home.

My parents thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Jean-Michel's establishment. The views, peace and quiet and way the apartment was appointed, were amongst the things the were particularly happy about. Thank you to Sam! :-)

Myself and my husband with our daughter celebrated our anniversary weekend at this gorgeous apartment. The host Errolldean was so sweet, very helpful. The apartment was spotless and exactly like the pictures. We felt so safe and so at home. We will definitely return again in the near future.

What an amazing Airbnb! The views of Table Mountain were incredible and we really enjoyed waking up and drinking coffee on the balcony, taking it all in. The apartment was very secure and was located in a quiet area. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Suzanne and Petra were excellent hosts. Communication was smooth and timely from the moment we booked until check-out. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place near the beach with unbeatable views.

Beautiful apartment, Marlize was friendly and welcoming. The dogs are friendly and there is no disruptions during our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and Cosy space.

Very nice place to stay. Maybe a warning that other people are on horses around the farm and the dam is not very accessible or easy to swim in.

Words can't describe Solace, but numbers can 100/10. What an incredible stay from start to finish. The cabin is perfect, it is equipped with everything you need, it is cosy and comfortable. The wood-fired hot tub was a highlight, we spent our nights star gazing. We forgot to bring milk and when we enquired about the closest shop, the hosts went out of their way to bring us some milk. I can highly recommend Solace for a few nights away. I'm pretty sure i've come back home a better person.

What an Incredible birthday getaway for my partner. Solace is the perfect space for two people wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city life! The peace you find in the space is unmatched. Breath taking views, vast open spaces and the sweet, sweet smell of the citrus trees. The cabin itself was so nicely decorated with beautiful attention to detail. We loved that there were living plants all around the inside of the cabin. Extra blankets and cushions made it even more cozy and comfortable, with a wonderful air conditioning system to cool the cabin down after a blistering hot day. The gas braai, made for quick and easy dinners, which is precisely what one needs to enjoy time away. They even had a juicer, which was lovely for the oranges we bought…So refreshing!! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will surely be back as soon as we can.

Rustic beach house, very close to the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the simplicity of the place. Has all necessary amenities.
