Cottage holiday rentals in Yzerfontein

Wir waren bereits zum dritten mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und das sagt in meinen Augen schon vieles aus. Hazel und Christo machen den Aufenthalt jedesmal zu etwas ganz besonderem und ihre Gastfreundschaft ist einfach grandios. Die Ferienwohnung im Landhausstil verfügt über einen Pool zu privaten Nutzung und ist kindergesichert. Zusätzlich gibt es einen HotTub der bei Bedarf angeheizt werden kann. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die perfekte Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen. Die Gegend ist super angenehm, wir haben uns nie unsicher gefühlt. Es sind mehrere Geschäfte und auch Restaurants in 5min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. An die Waterfront braucht man ca. 20min und zur Canal Walk Mall sind es nur knapp 10min. Wir werden mit Sicherheit ein viertes mal kommen.

We had the best stay, our furbaby, Izzy thought that it was our new home. She's generally very anxious and doesn't like to leave her home but she felt right at home at Ruby's. What a beautiful home, peaceful and private. Thank you Charlotte for being a gracious host, we will be back!

I use Airbnb A LOT. I book 3 or 4 places a month & I must say, this is definitely top 5 for me! We felt right at home from the moment we checked in! Jay was a ray of sunshine. Her lovely energy makes you feel like you are meeting an old friend. She took the time to read my profile & seeing that I love plants, she gave me permission to play in her garden the whole week. This was the highlight of my stay. These 2 wholesome beings are such a lovely couple that goes above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & taken care of! Their caretaker Mr Darlington was friendly, helpful & there whenever l needed his assistance! This home is very comfortable, safe, clean & had everything we needed. It looks even better than the pictures! The outdoor garden is so cosy. You can braai or just chill & enjoy a quiet evening! check out was ofcoz sad, l wish l could’ve stayed longer. Our whole stay was exactly what my little family needed. Would definitely recommend & we plan on staying here again!

Beach Haven cottage is amazingly situated right on the beach, you can walk off the porch onto the beach. We spent many hours watching sunrise/sunset. Lots of BBQ options, indoor fireplace. We were blessed with t-shirt weather during the middle of winter, but it does get cold at night, so the electric blankets were a treat. Spar in St Helena Bay is 10 min away, and the cottage comes equipped with everything you need. Our first time in the area, we will definitely be back!

Das Haus liegt in unmittelbarer vom Strand und viele Restaurants sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, aber die Ausstattung des Hauses ist für unsere Wünsche und Ansprüche mehr als ausreichend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Tranquil beach cottage. It was lovely to arrive and walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. We especially enjoyed the indoor fireplace, and Bridget made all the arrangements to ensure that you are not cold (electric blankets, space heater, fire wood). Recommended if you need a simple break away from your routine. We had breakfast at the nearby Westcoast padstal (+_15min), visited the Westcoast park and bought our groceries in Darling, al within a 30min radius, so very well located.

Really nice place to stay, very private, secure and the outdoor space was great. Billy was very responsive, but did not intrude. Loved having the heater on a very cold rainy weekend.

Travel far and wide… stay at lots of different places. But don’t forget to travel closeby as well. Because you might discover a secret jewel… a magical place to stay… right on your doorstep. Yes - in the lovely little town of Hopefield - barely two hours from anywhere worthwhile in the Cape 😁… you will find a place. Quality without pretention. Comfort without opulence. Top value. Peaceful. Authentic. Just right. And perhaps - when you have to leave early on a misty morning as the fog rolls in from the West Coast - the heart breaks a little. And as you close the beautifully renovated wooden gate, and stare for a moment at the lovingly restored house, you might silently vow to return in time… to again meet the two exceptional people behind this gem.

This was an absolute GEM of a find. Location was amazing, view is spectacular, house has any kind of entertainment you could think of. This property was over and beyond what I expected and I will be sure to return. Lynae was extremely responsive on message and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We had a great stay in Yzerfontein. The accommodation was exactly what we expected - clean and convenient. Brenda was a lovely, thoughtful host and we would definitely stay here again.

Wow wow wow - what an amazing spot! My husband and I extended our stay at Sallie’s place because we were having such a great time. The house is well equipped and has the cosiest indoor fireplace. It’s also super close to the beach which was great for sunsets. Sallie was so hospitable and gave us some helpful tips on what to do in the area. It was wonderful meeting her and we will definitely be back!
