We were visiting some friends in Chico for the weekend and decided that it was worth a little extra driving to stay at Scott’s place compared to other available options nearby. Scott and Dierdre were super friendly and their house is an awesome spot. I knew we would be arriving late since we were driving up late on a Friday evening. Scott and I touched base the week prior to discuss and he made it work for us. There is some shared space but they really made it feel like our own part of the home. The grounds are amazing and the pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking as were the stars. We also enjoyed the paddle boat on the pond. I hope we can stay there again if we are back in the area. Thank you Scott and Dierdre!

The house was exactly as described. A little on the older side, but very charming. It was perfect for our family gathering for the Easter holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and our stay. Would definitely look to stay again if going back to that location.

Kristin was a great host. We had one issue in 5 months with PG&E power outage just to the rental, and PG&E tried to blame the Airbnb, but Kristin jumped right to it and “worked” PG&E to rectify their own electrical supply issue. She was flexible with our needs to extend our stay several months additionally.

We loved the location and the property! We were surrounded by trees and the kids loved the pool and creek. The deck was lovely and we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the sun and being in this little oasis! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware/ dishes. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us and also space to be alone. The host was super helpful and responsive to the few questions we had. We would definitely book again if going out that way!
