Holiday rentals with lake access in Youghiogheny River

Very nice modern house. The only issue was getting the hot tub to an adequate temperature in a timely manner. Check in was 4PM. I arrived around 5PM. The hot tub water temperature was 67F. I had to wait until 10PM for the hot tub to reach a temperature of 93F. In short, it was more of a "warm" tub instead of a "hot" tub. If the hot tub were prepared in advance, I could have used it right away when I arrived.

Timber Rock Village is such a beautiful spot. So well done! We loved our stay at Stone Haven! It was beautiful, extremely clean, well stocked, and the beds were so comfy! It’s such a short walk down to the dock slip. The location is perfect for hiking Swallow Falls or hitting up all the best parts of Deep Creek. They were also extremely quick to respond if we needed anything! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to anyone! Thanks again for sharing Stone Haven with us!

Perfect getaway spot! Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and truly everything we needed: not just an equipped kitchen and plenty of clean towels and linens but thoughtful extras like seasonings in the kitchen and toiletries. Tom’s communication was excellent: he told us everything we needed to know proactively and was quick to respond to a follow up question. Location is terrific especially with kids, very close to the pool and playground. Would love to return!

This stay was perfect for our group of 10! Everything was tidy and clean. I loved the hot tub and pool table. I really loved how each floor had many games. They all came in handy for our rainy weekend. We had pizza from Brenda’s that we were able to walk to. We grilled the next night, which the host kindly has propane available for use. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. The beds were comfy and there were many bathrooms that no one really had to share a bathroom. Lastly, the host and her cleaner was so kind to coordinate and bring us extra toilet paper and paper towels very quickly when I reached out. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again.

Southern Pines Lodge is a beautiful home where we were able to host our large family for the weekend. The home was cozy with plenty of room to spill outdoors for dining and hanging out. Our boys really enjoyed fishing in the pond as well. The family really enjoyed being together celebrating a special occasion while making wonderful memories. Kristan was super friendly and communicative.

Beautiful setting. Spacious home. We were short a sheet and comforter, Nicole responded and was at the house in under 10 minutes.

We had another great stay at the No Wake Zone! The two bedroom offers some additional space and a beautiful view. Such a convenient, well kept spot for a weekend on the Yough!

Jack is a great host and I was so grateful to him for sharing his beautiful home. He had so much to share about his home, its history and the neighborhood. The weather was rainy one day of my stay and he offered me an extra night on him so that I could enjoy the city on a nice day. I had to return home for work, but it shows Jack's kindness.

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Second stay his year. Great place, great hosts. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay for our family ski weekend. Emily was responsive and helpful. Cannot beat the short walk to the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place for myself, my husband, my 1 year old daughter and my sister to spend a long weekend. We were only 7 minutes away from my cousin's engagement party (the reason for our trip) and only 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. It was a convenient location and we thought the place was much better for us with a little one than booking a hotel room which would not have had the amenities provided by Royal Acres. There was complimentary coffee (Keurig), tea, granola bars, instant oatmeal and ramen, including water, condiments and creamer in the fridge. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and spacious, the bed and pullout couch were both very comfortable, and the surroundings were peaceful and serene. Finally, the last thoughtful touch we deeply appreciated was a baby swing that the hosts hung up under the back deck. Our daughter loved it! The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating about our check-in and check-out times. It was very stress-free and enjoyable!

Carol was very accommodating. Upon arrival a storm had just went through and the facility lost power. Carol apologized and communicated well. She even offered a full refund. Set a bucket water outside of the door in case we needed it for the bathroom. Power was restored quickly. Room was small, but accurately described. Cute and clean. Even came with towels and wash cloths and bed sheets. Ample pillows. Shampoo etc. provided. Bed was comfortable. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again!

Super fast WiFi! has all the essentials and more! Stayed about a month and got DoorDash and Amazon delivery with no issues. No shared spaces and our own washer/dryer was the best!! Loved to park my truck on the concrete and not on the street. The porch and outdoor furniture was a nice touch to sit relax and watch the rain. Such a peaceful quiet neighborhood. Host thought of everything. Really appreciate it. Would definitely stay again !

It was an amazing weekend in this home. The kitchen, bathroom and linen closet were well stocked and we didn’t run out of anything. The house is right on the water and provided hours of free entertainment. The house contained cable, plenty of DVDs/Bluray movies, board games, and sitting space. Wisp is seconds away by car and minutes by walking. Host was responsive and understanding, even after I lost the house keys.

Really great home, walkable to Hidden Valley in ski boots carrying skis. The house was just as described in the listing and photos were spot on. We chose this house because of the kids room, and it was terrific. Five kids slept there, played card games there, and ate in their own area while parents were able to enjoy ourselves in the kitchen and dining area. The mud room was a big win. When I had a question, the hosts were super fast to respond. The house overlooks the lake and the kids had a great time playing in the surrounds. The house has a large deck and a fire pit, but we did not use them due to weather. One thing to note: the steepness of the driveway should not be underestimated. In winter it will require a four or all wheel drive. I drove it easily, but one family could not get up it, and the other slid the entire way down sideways. That being said, the owners were quick to salt and cinder as necessary, and the neighbor helped us by plowing. Cannot recommend enough!

Phillip's cabin was wonderful. It was in a beautiful location, had easy access to Wisp resort (about 5 minutes driving), and was exactly as described in the description. Communication was smooth and we did not have any issues during our stay.

We had an amazing trip staying here! The pond was so nice to look out at - and the wood stove was so cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

DockHoliday is a happy little place tucked between state parks. We enjoyed staying here for three nights. The house was suitable for our party, 4 adults and 3 small children. The amenities in the house were adequate to meet our needs. Keurig Coffee Maker, functioning Washer/Dryer, Foosball Table, and full size fridge to hold our groceries made our stay comfortable. Know that this house is on a two-lane road that serves as a main road around this western portion of Deep Creek Lake. The traffic isn’t constant, but the noise of passing cars and trucks can be disruptive to those seeking a vacation home that brings them closer to nature. Also, the living space in the house isn’t large, so noise travels easily. May be a problem for noise-sensitive people in your party. If sleeping in the master bedroom on the main level, I recommend bringing a white-noise machine to mask the noises of footsteps on the second level. We came to see the Lake and State Parks and this house was a nice base.

Enjoyed our stay at Lois Lane. The property is beautiful with a creek and pond on the property.
