Smoking friendly holiday rentals in York County

Host was friendly, the place was clean, and all in all, it’s exactly what we needed for a quick night’s stay before an event in Portland early the next day.

Great little spot. The house itself is small with narrow upstairs hallway and steep, narrow stairs. However, my family and myself are all average to small sized people so this was no issue for us at all. The house smelled like lemon when we walked in, and it was very clean and well decorated with beach themed decor. Tons of cookware to use and choose from as well as plenty of dishes to use. Parking was right in front of the house in a quiet neighborhood. We fit 3 cars with seemingly no issue at all. The house did have some ants once in a while (maybe 1-2 a day), but this is to be expected in a beach town and should be noted that ant traps were laid well before our arrival The balcony up top is super cute. Great place for late night chats and early morning coffee. We were very comfortable. I ended up completing a nice puzzle, there were plenty of blankets, close to the beach, and altogether we had a great stay. Host was communicative and respectful. I would absolutely stay here a

My family and I loved our stay here. The house was exactly as described and was plenty of space for everyone. My dog loved all the space to run around in the backyard! Makell and her husband were also incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

This place is all about the view. Look out the sliders from the kitchen and living room and see and hear the ocean. A few steps your feet are on the sandy beach. Total relaxation and serenity. Surrounding homes were mostly rentals and free of crowds from the public beach. Plenty of local restaurants and great antiquing close by. My family was sad to leave.

We had a group of 10 staying here and we all fit very comfortably. Having the rollaways for the kids was nice. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores. Check in was easy. The location of the house is great. It is an old house so there are the quirks that come with that but we enjoyed our stay.

Richard was very accommodating and responsive to messages! It was a nice place close to everything you will need while staying down there. It was easy to find and navigate getting too. Highly recommend if you need a place in Gorham.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our doggies loved the backyard. Thank you!

Stay was everything we had hoped for!

Top notch spot and host!! We had such a great time at Alexa’s lovely home! It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, modernized, and had all the essential items you’d need - plus it is completely pet friendly! Our dog loved the fenced in yard with a doggy door to get out to it. The sauna, endless pool, and hot tub are just amazing amenities to have on site - that sunroom was my favorite place in the house to say the least! Can’t say enough about it and Alexa, too! She is super friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for fun and good food in the area. Overall, it was just a wonderful and relaxing experience for our first time on the Maine coast and we can’t wait to visit again!

We had a lovely week at the lake! The house is full of charm and it is obvious that it has been well loved by the host and their family for generations. The view was spectacular and everything needed (and then some) was provided. And the swing set and tree house with slide was an unexpected bonus for our kiddo!
