Cottage holiday rentals in Yamanashi

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

We throughly enjoyed staying at Isami’s house. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Great views, enjoyed the barbecue and my husband especially enjoyed the sauna. We would definitely stay there again. The nicest place we stayed at during our 4 week visit to Japan. Thank you Isami.

Nori’s place was very clean, well laid out, well stocked and extremely organised! The views of Mount Fuji from Lake Yamanakako were to die for.. Nori was prompt, respectful and responsive. The complimentary fruits and pre-warmed accommodation were well received and appreciated by my family. It was a pleasure to stay here, so close to the lake, free from the throngs of tourists; a must stay! Watch Mount Fuji from the privacy of your own spa!

Clean, good location, very satisfied. I found a squirrel in the tree in front of me on both the check-in and check-out dates.I was thrilled to see a squirrel running on a lying tree twice. It was a wonderful stay.Thank you very much.

The cottage itself might not be traditional Japanese architecture but the inside definitely is. Taller people could experience some issues but it's manageable with a little care. The kitchen is well equipped but the space is limited and if you prepare a lot of dishes at the same time, it's quite annoying. Would definitely recommend to use a rental car because you can access most restaurants and supermarkets within a couple minutes, as by foot, it can be a real pain to walk every time you need something. Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend for larger groups up to 6 people.

We had a pleasant stay with our family. The outdoor bath was easy to prepare, as it was sufficient to use only hot water at this time of year. Also, the check-in time was flexible on the day, which was helpful. It is one of the places I would like to go if I have the opportunity.

We loved it. The house is huge, well equipped and everything was clean. You do need a car but it’s easy to get around. Ryo communicated extremely well (in English) and gave great recommandations. We would go back again.

Even in the summer, it was cool at night and a pleasant stay! If it was sunny, I could see the beautiful starry sky, and my heart was at ease!

It was used by two families. There was a BBQ space and a relaxing room, and the climate was good, which made it a very good experience.

The BBQ was good if only the ingredients were prepared, and the price was conscientious.

I was very satisfied except that it was difficult to have a BBQ day. Charcoal can be provided but no wood provided so You may want to bring your own

Got great views of Mt. Fuji. Close to alot of restaurants and stores. We were picked up and dropped off at station which was really convenient.

They were flexible! There are no people around, and it is surrounded by nature, so it is very restful.👍👍

We stayed with 13 people, but it was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. The terrace and kitchen were also solid on the terrace and kitchen. The shower was a little weak in the bath, but the scenery when I opened the window was a wonderful thing I couldn't feel in the city.

Great place for families in Kawaguchiko area, clean and new facilities that makes the stay enjoyable. Has ample parking area in the front pouch and rooms are thoughtfully designed on the ground floor for easy manoeuvre of luggage. Rooms are very spacious too! Beautiful view of Mount Fuji at the balcony and ample space for gathering in the living and dining area. It would be ideal for larger groups if it has more than one shower room.

It was very spacious and comfortable enough for a large group.

It was used by 5 families (9 adults and 8 children), but we had a very comfortable stay, such as a large private room, a spacious living room, outside barbecue equipment and a large kitchen.The parking lot was spacious and many cars were parked, and it was nice for the children to play there, including near the table in front of the entrance. Thank you for being flexible with check-in and checkout times.

Accommodation was easy to find. Kevin sent lots of useful information prior to our stay. Friendly host! Totally appreciate the early check in. I somehow missed the check-in message with the door code and the hosts replied really fast to my message. Love having the supermarket just across the street. very convenient. Options for restaurants a short drive away. It's like a home away from home. Very comfy. Everything we need for our 4 nights stay. Read previous reviews about noisy trains affecting their sleep. We didn't hear anything. Slept like a baby. Fuji was a little shy, but we did see Fuji as we drove out on day 2. We didn't have to use the train station, but it is a short walk away. Quiet neighbourhood, which is great. After a day of exploring, it is always nice to come back to a quiet neighbourhood and wind down. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
