Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Xhariep District Municipality

Exactly what I hope for. Small private garden for my pet (that many places lack), and a neat and well equipped room. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. This will be my overnight stop everytime I travel from Hermanus to Pretoria. Thank you Zelna!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We were warmly welcomed by our lovely host and her daughter—both enthusiastic animal lovers, which made us feel right at home with our dogs. The whole family was a delight, and they went out of their way to make our stay special. What a memorable moment: watching the wild animals come right up to our unit at sunset to be fed—a magical experience. The space had everything we needed, and we slept comfortably. We’ll definitely stay again and look forward to keeping in touch!

Smithfield is the perfect halfway stop for us from the Eastern Cape to North West. Elaine’s place was great for one night’s sleep. The toys were an extra advantage to keep the kids busy.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

We all had a great stay, I think I loved the fact that there were enough utensils for making food, even an air fryer🤭. The host was very friendly and he put on the air con for us before we arrived the house was very warm and cosy. We had wifi and so many apps to stream from which made us extend our stay with an extra day🤗. The house looks exquisite just like in the photos

We had a lovely stay, the home was spotless and relaxing. Just what we needed after a long day on the road. Would have loved to have stayed a bit longer.

The accommodation was comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The views of the dam were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. Our hosts attentive, ensuring our stay was seamless. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, this is ideal spot.

We booked a night at Eco Karoo as a stop over on our way from KZN to Cape Town. Our only complaint is that we should have booked more nights! The Lodge is tastefully decorated, well designed and has everything you might need and more. The photos on the listing really don’t do it justice. The team is also great - Sydney was very welcoming and friendly, and made sure we knew where everything was when we arrived. It’s rare to find such a beautiful place that is also dog friendly. We traveled with our pup, and she absolutely loved exploring around the Lodge and investigating all the new smells.

Thank you Moira and Andries for hosting us. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. Our dogs loved the fenced off area where they could run free. We hope to visit you soon.

It was a good choice for my parents to stay in very homely and safe. The home was cosy and comfortable . We experienced warm hospitality . I would highly recommend for comfortable stay.

This is a fantastic location, quiet and in the midst of nature. The rooms are spacious and clean. We opted for dinner and breakfast which was delicious! Highly recommended.

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! And thank you again for the surprises you given us… super special! P

Cameron, Chris and Karen were amazing hosts - very friendly, hospitable, warm and welcoming! The Bobotie we had which was made by Chris and the Brownsies for dessert made by Cameron was delicious. Overall, the accommodation was everything you needed for a stop over, highly recommend. 😃

Juan was very helpful and kept us informed about the approaching cold weather which was very helpful. Will definately use his place for any future visits we have to Bloemfontein.

This house is so well-established that it welcomes you home straight away. If there’s a next time, I’m looking forward to wandering around the farm with my dogs and then coming home to thoughtful comfort.

Beautiful place in the middle of the city. The nature and the quietness make you forget you are in the city. Samantha went out of her way to facilitate my check in (I was very late driving from other province). I also had a family emergency that force me to leave earlier than I had planned and Samantha was so understanding and willing to refund the days I had to cancel. You definitely want to see this yourself.

We had a very comfortable overnight stay at Priscilla's place. The accommodation is pristine and suited us perfectly as a family of four with small children.

I had a great Elrie's place, clean and prestine, the bed is comfortable! The house is adequately equipped and the kitchen is well stocked with basic necessities. The yard is green and well manicured, looks amazing. Staff very helpful, clean and responsive. I am staying there again next week if I find it free for booking.
