Great Location, super comfy , and any questions were answered quickly

We spent 5 nights in the center of Heraklion and felt very comfortable. Everything was within walking distance – supermarkets, including Lidl, and many other shops. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable, and there were all the necessary amenities. The air conditioners worked very well, which is of course particularly important in the summer. The host was always available, although we didn't actually need anything, as everything was available in the apartment. The bus stop is right nearby, and you can easily get to the beach by bus. We loved the stay – thank you so much! 😊

This was a super charming apartment with a wonderful host. We arrived very late and tired, and the check in was super smooth and simple—exactly what we needed with two tired kids! There was cold water, beer, fruit, and snacks waiting for us, and the sofa bed was set up and ready to go. The place was pristine clean. There are two wonderful balconies with shade. Each room had a ceiling fan, and there is AC in the bedroom. The doors and windows have screens, so you can leave them open at night without worrying about bugs, and the temperature for sleeping was just perfect!we had an amazing stay, and my only regret was that we didn’t stay longer! 100% recommended!

It is a very nice studio, exactly the same as the photos. It is on a little hill where you can overlook the town and the blue sea.

Great place to stay when visiting Heraklion. Historic and in the center. The chiming church bells are enchanting, however every hour, so this is something to consider if you are a light sleeper. For us, it was no problem, we actually enjoyed it. Communication with the hosts was seamless. Big thanks!

One of the best equipped places where we have ever stayed. Really close to everything and María was super kind, friendly and helpful. Without any doubt we will stay here again when we come back to Crete.

It was very nice stay! Apartment is fresh and looks exactly the same on photos. Mattress was perfect for me! Also we had TV in the room and never ever watched TV on vacation, so I don't know why majority apartments are equipped with it(just thought out of loud). There is a good supermarket quite close to the apartment. Location is not so close to the city center, still in walkable distance. But if you rent a scooter/car it's good cause next to the building there is a small free parking. What we like the most is self check-in, small welcome sweets and rakia(I guess), AC and apartment design.

Impeccable space in the center of the city

Wonderful, kind and knowledgeable host. It was such a pleasure meeting Mihalis. His home is beautiful, it is really spacious, has secure underground parking. You can ride the elevator from garage up to where the front door is. That was the coolest. The home has the most amazing view. Pictures are accurate but they don't do it justice. The view is unbelievable. Comfortable couch and beds, very clean, stocked with amenities, you'll want for nothing. Mihalis was even generous enough to stock us with water and very good oranges. Several Restaurant choices in both directions and great clothing shops just 200 ft up the road. It's going to be tough to beat this BnB compared to future others. We were so sad to leave. Can't recommend it highly enough. Like us, you'll have no regrets.

A great stay at the residence. Everything was compliant. Very warm and very flexible hosting. Very nice. Many directions to discover Crete. I recommend it.

Because of unforeseen circumstances, we only had one day in Crete. This was the perfect place to stay. It was centrally located. It was beautiful and comfortable.

Amazing place. Right in the middle of the action but somehow on a quiet street! Melina was full of helpful information and even checked in to make sure that everything was going smooth. Great place with all of the things that you need for a short or long stay in Heraklion.

This place is IMMACULATE! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so lovely and the balcony view is stunning! We enjoy sitting in the evenings with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The location is perfect, it’s 5 min walking distance from the Lion Fountain Square where they have the best bougatsa at Kirkor!!! There is a pay parking right across the street. We are definitely coming back! Hosts are amazing and responsive! We already miss Crete!

The self check-in was convenient, especially since we arrived late. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The flat looked like the photos and was comfortable for two people. We liked the bright space and the large balcony. The best part was having free parking with valet service right below. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

The place was conveniently located in walking distance from the port of entry for the ferries and about 5 to 10 minutes away from the airport. It was close to great restaurants and the waterfront and the main shopping areas are all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. It was easy for tours to pick us up 2 to 3 minutes walk from the place. Are a host or extremely helpful very responsive on all communications all through the process in the checkout. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Crete.

We had a really great time in Lygaria! The Arrival was easy and we met Nikos and his wife, they were very friendly and helpful! Nikos always replied very quick and also gave some recommendations for restaurants and taverns (we really liked Sirocco and Anatoli!) The appartment was clean, felt modern and cozy. The outside section next to it was really nice to hang out at in the evenings and the whirlpool was a big bonus, we loved it! We also had deck chairs for our use at the front of the building - from which you are able to get to the beach in just a few footsteps! All in all we were really happy to have booked this airbnb and would recommend it to everyone!

Although we booked for 3 people and it was only prepared for 2, the host was very quick and helpful in solving the problem! Very good room and conditions :)

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! Already missing this place and Giorgo of course. All the best, Millie and Nathan :))

We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect, with tons of walkable restaurants and bars nearby. There was so much going on in the area, and the lively atmosphere made it really fun to explore. One of our favorite parts was the hot tub on the balcony. It was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The homemade wine was a really nice touch and absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back.

Awesome place - Jacuzzi helps! Bed is nice and comfy, aircon works nicely and cooker and fridge is nice. It’s down the road from town a bus ride away. Toilet and shower is wetroom is nice. You have a great view of beach from the north side balcony and nice moon lit view of from the south side (whilst in the jacuzzi). It’s a good place to get transport links from the city (buses are all over the place). Stelios was very responsive and helpful with recommendations With restaurants and places to find a drink. Deffo would come back 10/10 🇬🇧🇬🇷

I booked this stay as a special trip for my mom and me, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space gave us such peace of mind, calm, cozy, and just what we needed to relax. One of the kindest touches was the host thoughtfully providing us with some groceries to welcome us, such a generous and appreciated gesture! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the bathroom: a lovely shower and a bathtub that can turn into a jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding (just be a little mindful when draining the water). The location is also ideal: just a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the old town/city center, which made it easy to explore while still enjoying a quiet retreat. Truly a beautiful stay with a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommended, we’d love to come back! 💛
