This was a lovely spacious house with lots of rooms to spread out socially. The pool was the most amazing feature. The host met us at the property to show us how the pool worked and to give us the lockbox code. They were friendly. They let us know we could message them if we needed anything, then they left us to our own privacy. You might need to bring a spare towel so you have one for the pool and one for the shower. Tea and coffee were provided but you need to make sure you have some milk with you. There was toilet roll, And kitchen roll. Washing up liquid. You might want to bring a box of tissues for General use and some multipurpose cleaning wet wipes. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning.

Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Absolutely loved our stay. Clean and had everything we needed. Check in easy and friendly. Large parking area, and pool for swimming if the weather is on your side. Views from the cottage fantastic on a clear day. Great location for access to Snowdon and lovely scenic towns to visit. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Amazing place to relax, surrounded by nature and plenty of privacy. The home was spotless and clean, everything was as described. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it if you want to escape from the city life and have some peace & connect with the nature.

We had a lovely stay here, Tania and Jonathan (and Mya the dog!) were lovely and helpful. Home was just as described, if not better! Would definitely recommend as an escape from a busy town! The turn onto the lane was a bit tricky to navigate and the wifi wasn’t great but the rest absolutely made up for it. A gorgeous few days! ☺️

No 43 was very neat and comfortable. A bonus for us was ability to park x2cars safely off the street. There was everything within the home to meet our comfort needs and was in a very convenient location for the purpose of our visit. We were impressed and had the full support of our hosts throughout-thank you!

Wonderful place. We had visited Carrog a few times and always wanted to stay there. We weren't disappointed. The cottage was beautiful and John left treats which were a great bonus. We didn't need for anything. It was lovely sitting on the deck but also taking a dip in the river, although we do wish we had water shoes as the stones and rocks were very slippery. Easy walking distance of the pub, river and cool little train station. Thanks again John.

10/10! Honestly 1 of the best places I’ve stayed in using Air B&B. Very friendly hosts who allowed me to check in early as I was attended a funeral nearby. Annex has everything you need for a nights stay. Would definitely recommend to others, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a very stay.

My stay at Jonathan's was fantastic, he is a very kind and hospitable host. He provided many local recommendations for eateries and has a folder full of sightseeing (and history) in the surrounding area. The accommodation is cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. It is a very peaceful location where you can enjoy the sound of the countryside (plus a little car traffic but nothing that disturbs you). Thank you so much for hosting us!

Really nice house well placed for the town with a big carpark nearby. Very nice outdoor private area and a very well equipped kitchen. Super loo and shower. We will stay again.

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! We had an amazing stay! Honestly could not fault one thing, very relaxing and also only 25 minutes away from Chester/ Cheshire oaks. We have a 2 year old so we went to the zoo etc, perfect distant from air bnb also lovely to play in the garden/ field after getting home after a long day, lovely house everything clean and owners opposite very welcoming and friendly will defiantly be returning!

We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!

We had an amazing time cottage is beautiful. The location is stunning. The garden is safe and enclosed for the dogs. The owners are lovely, thoughtful and always making sure we were ok. We will definitely be going back for longer! Thank you
