Cottage holiday rentals in Wrexham

Lovely stay, stunning gardens - would have been good to know there are other holiday lets immediately next to the property the listing does give the impression it’s totally isolated but thankfully there were no guests in the other houses while we were there.

A wonderful place to stay. Easy to find, stunning views, relaxing and everything you could need. The N64 was great entertainment in the evening. Watching the birds in the morning is a great way to start the day, and a soak in the hot tub a great way to end it. Niamh, Dave and Osian are wonderful hosts, really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

Sam was an excellent host. The property was just what I had imagined, very clean and tidy. set in a quiet peaceful location but not to far out from shops/pubs etc. would 100% revisit if I was up that way again.

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

Overall we had a great stay at the coach house, a group of us celebrated a birthday with a quiet weekend and it was perfect. The place was clean and peaceful, the surrounding area and views were lovely. The hosts’ were very responsive and helpful. The facilities were great and the location was easy to find. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing spot with a cosy feel, this will be great. There isn’t much near by but there are great locations within short driving distances.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

We had a lovely stay at this quirky and unique Airbnb in Wales. The decor was full of charm, with standout touches like a Vespa set into the floor and a vintage wool spinner. It’s in a great location—close to scenic walks and just 50 mins from Snowdon and Anglesey. The living area was spacious with lots of seating, great TV options (Netflix, Prime, Sky Sports), and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs. We loved the sauna, coffee machine with pods, and the fresh eggs left from the chickens! The village is lovely too—highly recommend the pizza truck in the square. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. A couple of small things: the kitchen sink was small and there’s no freezer (important if travelling with pets that are raw fed), the sofa wasn’t the comfiest, and the outdoor space wasn’t fully private as it backs onto the owners’ home. Still, we had a great time and would recommend it for a fun, characterful stay.

Gem of a cottage, perfect location for visiting the races. Did some shopping at Cheshire Oaks on the Sunday which was brilliant. 4 of us stayed at the cottage and was ample space and excellent amenities. Communication was great when we struggled with the lock box but Rachael responded immediately to assist. Will definitely be staying again!

We recently stayed here on a Mountain Biking trip to Llandegla. Very nice, peaceful and scenic place to stay, clean and tidy and the hosts a very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

The cottage was very clean and well-maintained. The host was extremely helpful and always willing to assist whenever needed, promptly responding to all our requests. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others!

We had a lovely stay at Simon’s beautiful cottage. The bed was really comfy and there was no external noise (apart from the sheep!). It was such a peaceful few days and perfect for us with our 7 month old daughter and dog. The cottage is set on the hillside with stunning panoramic views. The garden is fenced all the way round and there’s a perfectly placed bench to watch the sunset. The interior was kitted out to a high standard and had all the basics you would need. Simon was very friendly and offered some great local recommendations. We will definitely be back one day to visit again - thank you!

We stayed at Rock Cottage for my mum’s 50th birthday and we couldn’t have wished for a better weekend, the hosts really thought of everything. The most beautifully decorated cottage, and the fairy lights and music being on as we walked in was such a special touch. We didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend - we are already wanting to go back in Autumn/Winter 🍂🎃 Excellent communication from hosts with detailed instructions on how to get there and also some great recommendations. Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely terraced cottage in Llangollen. The property was spotlessly clean, nicely appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable break in North Wales. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, while the lounge was cosy and inviting, with a smart TV for relaxing evenings in. The whole place had a warm and welcoming feel. The location couldn’t have been better — tucked away in a quiet spot, yet just a short walk from the centre of Llangollen with its shops, cafés, and riverside walks. All in all, a fantastic base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Wonderful log burning stove with plenty of logs. Chilled bottle of wine, flowers everywhere and superb breakfasts including fresh eggs, pastries, fresh orange juice to name but a few.

What a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort. The peaceful location was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge – quiet, scenic, and perfectly placed for exploring the area. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit, and a special mention must go to their two lovely dogs who made us feel right at home with their gentle nature and charm. My son & I stayed at the cottage on two consecutive weekends and it was brilliant! Clean, tidy, with comfy beds and exactly as the photos. Definitely recommend it if in the area. Dewi was easy to get hold of and very helpful with suggestions on the local area.

We had a lovely few days at Mison’s place. A really comfortable, spotless cottage with a fantastic view over the sea. The deck area is super and perfect relaxing or watching the sunset. Mison had left helpful local information, which made our stay even better by enjoying local eateries. We would all happily return to explore the area further. Thank you Mison.

This little hideaway is just breathtaking. I could’ve watched the birds and listened to the water in the garden for days and days. The garden is spectacular and the standard of finish throughout the whole space is just exceptional. I wish I had such a brilliant eye for interiors! Nicola was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout too, many thanks and will be back again you can be sure!

Only stopped for one night. Accommodation was exactly what we needed. Clean and comfortable so had a good sleep. Accommodation has fantastic garden area with plenty seating. It’s a shame we couldn’t make use of outdoor kitchen due to one night stay and weather as it looked great. Thanks to Karen and John

My family loved our stay in Nia's lovely home. We hiked each morning from the path out her door and loved the gorgeous scenery. Wales is fantastic and we are already planning a return trip.
