After two years of building ourselves, we are back from a tour of Portugal and Spain with Oerol behind the tractor (March 2024). Oerol is next to our farmhouse. Oerol is well insulated and now extended, which gives a spacious feeling (living room 3.3x4m). There is hot and cold water for kitchen and shower. We live in a meadow bird area between the Frisian lakes. There is a trailer ramp, surf school and a beach within 1.5 km. There is plenty of parking space available. There are beautiful cycling routes nearby.

Our house is in a unique location, among the meadows and right on the open water. Here you have the holiday feeling right away! From the beautiful garden you have a wide view, you can sit in the sun on one of the two terraces on the water, swim in front of the door and from the private jetty (12 m) you can sail up the Frisian lakes.

Directly on the water, you can step into your boat from the garden. There are bicycles at your disposal to discover the picturesque villages of South West Friesland, although this can also be done perfectly from the water.
