A perfect escape from the crowds. This newly built cabin nestles in the Purbeck countryside in the grounds of a Victorian cottage. Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Little Orchard is a self-contained annex with its own private entrance and parking outside. Comprising of one double bedroom with king size bed, TV, small table and chairs, WIFI. Large bathroom with rainfall shower. Entrance lobby containing a small fridge with ice box, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Fantastic property and location for walking straight out into the coast path. Very peaceful and comfortable with a lovely garden. Great village pub and walking distance to the Square and Compass. Thank you for a lovely stay and being friendly and responsive host. Many thanks for the goodies in the fridge. We will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend here and can highly recommend it. William and Charlotte were so welcoming to us and our dog! The welcome pack was fabulous, we could not have asked for more and the cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Walks directly from the property are stunning , we certainly plan another stay here one day soon. Just loved it.

Fossil Cottage is a charming house with a wonderful garden. We travelled with 3 kids (11-4) and the house worked very well, including when my mother joined us half way through the week. Catherine has put a lot of thought into making the cottage comfortable and enjoyable for guests and we had a great stay. Church Knowle is a pretty, peaceful village, well located for the many attractions of Purbeck.

A lovely house, spacious, comfortable & ideally situated to explore the coast and beautiful area of the Isle of Purbeck. Entry is on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) and a bathroom. Upstairs, a bedroom with kingsize bed & separate bathroom. Downstairs is the kitchen and living/dining area leading to garden. The garden could use some work & the table & 4 chairs ideally need replacing, but they did the job for a coffee in the sunshine. Parking for 2 cars. The home has everything you need with plenty of mugs, plates, cutlery & glasses. A small supply of tea, coffee, dishwash tabs & wash-up liquid. Handwash in the bathrooms. The double bedroom could use a small hanging rail but otherwise use the wardrobe in the twin room. Plenty of hanging space in the upper bedroom. A supply of books, games & large TV to keep you entertained in case of bad weather. Lots of maps for exploring the area with detailed recommended walks. Great pub 2 mins away. Would we come again - yes.
