With no light pollution, one of the highlights will be soaking under the stars in the log-fuelled cedar hot tub with a glass of something cold to round off a perfect day. Lovely self contained annexe set in the beautiful surroundings of the Jurassic coast. There is a cosy double bedroom with a king size bed (which can be set up as 2 x 2ft 6 singles), shower room and a well equipped kitchen/dining/living room which has a sofa bed. The property has its own pretty courtyard garden and off road parking for one car. The annexe is part of our main house although completely self contained and therefore you may occasionally be aware of the normal sounds of family life

It is only 1 mile from the pretty riverside town of Wareham where you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the eateries or relax at the rivers edge.

Gorgeous shepherd's hut in Dorset's water meadows

This is a gorgeous new shepherds hut adjoining a listed thatched cottage with a stream running through the garden and alongside the hut. The hut is quiet and peaceful being at the end of a small lane petering out into protected water meadows. The only noise to disturb you is bird song. Look out of your window and you see coots and ducks in the stream. Step straight into the water meadows and see herons and kingfishers. In a word, idyllic.

Coombe Keynes is 7 miles from Wareham and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. The next village of Wool offers everyday essentials, and there are a number of local pubs offering excellent food.
