Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Woodlawn, Chicago

Over the last 3-4 years we have stayed at Ian’s at least 10 times while visiting our son at Uchicago for football games and graduations. It is a very clean and welcoming place to stay. We have enjoyed this Airbnb so much we have recommended it to underclassmen families to use and keep up our tradition. Ian has been more than accommodating for us to book and has responded very promptly when asked for favors. Overall, I would give it a 10/10!

I was very impressed and pleased with all of the thoughtful details and extras like Keurig pods, filtered water and parking stickers. The space was cozy and perfect for our small family. It had every possible amenity needed to make ourselves at home for a week and cooking was a breeze. The location was ideal both due to the proximity to our daughter’s place, but also very quiet and walkable to everything you need including restaurants, stores, light rail and bus lines. Leigh-Anne was super responsive and flexible. The only word of caution would be that guests who are very tall (like over 6’) might find the ceilings too low, though they were perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

The only bad or negative about the place : If you are going to have dishwasher in the place then you should have dishwasher pod's - just saying Would of been nice to have more than two set of towels. However I am sure that I could have asked for these items. Other than the above It was prefect and may book again

The neighborhood was really nice. It was a short drive to downtown.

This is a gem in the heart of the Bronzeville neighborhood, very underrated in comparison to most other neighborhoods in the City. The place was charming and functional (perfect for sleeping, watching movies, and eating a quick meal. I've definitely got some pleasant moments here - there's a park across the street that helps with the calmness. This is a good spot to check out a view of Chicago that few appreciate - I (being a former resident) really appreciate the opportunity and spot that Rosemary ,has offered and would love to come back!

David and his co-host were excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay. We used to live in the Bronzeville area and love the new additions to the neighborhood. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

We rented Sherry's place for our son's graduation at University of Chicago. There were 7 of us and we were very comfortable in the unit. It was well appointed and only a 10 minute drive from campus. I would definitely recommend it!

Jasna was an amazing host! The house was absolutely spectacular—truly even better than the photos. Every room felt thoughtfully designed and full of warmth, making it feel just like home. We had all the amenities we needed, which made our stay super comfortable and stress-free. It was the perfect setting for a special girls’ trip with my mom and sister. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, adding to the relaxing vibe. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you again for everything, Jasna!

My family of 5 including my elderly parents had a lovely stay at Rachel and David’s house for our son’s graduation from UChicago. It is in a quiet location that is very close to the university. The hosts were very friendly and flexible. The place is spacious, light and airy and extremely clean. The beds (especially the two large bedrooms upstairs) had usually comfortable beds. All in all it a 10 out of 10!

This wasn’t really supposed to be a “fun” trip. I unfortunately had to put my mom into assisted living, but found this Airbnb close to her home. My 2 boys came with me (10 & 13) and if it wasn’t for the fun accommodations in this house, they wouldn’t have had the awesome time they did. It was a fantastic distraction, and the house felt like a home. We loved the updated bathrooms, the modern look and feel, and don’t forget the basement! We spent lots of time down there playing putt putt and arcade games. My son even hooked up his X-Box and played (which he ended up leaving behind on accident, and the host Marc actually drove it to my moms to drop it off - A SAINT!) We will likely be back at least every couple months to check on my mom and will book here from now on!

This place was perfect for two of us! Everything about the description was accurate. It was very clean, super easy to access, and in a perfect spot-walkable to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and even a few gyms we tried. Water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. Neighborhood felt safe for late night walking to and from restaurants. Hosts were communicative without being over-the-top. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Staying at Matt’s Air BnB was a fantastic experience. We stayed with our two kids and another couple and the space was perfect for our group. The spacious, fenced in yard made for a great hangout space for our toddler to safely run around. The house looks exactly like the pictures and was extremely clean. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you, Matt!

The home is lovely we are seniors so the steps were a little bit tricky for us. I thought it was a bit closer to town but that was my mistake but the home is very relaxing and perfect for a large group or family I would highly recommend this home and our host was exceptional

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at. It was beautifully decorated and super clean. Had everything I needed to feel comfortable and at home. The host was extremely responsive. The parking was a bit difficult but would not deter me from staying there again. Very close to downtown, about 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

Perfect location! Not far from the best things to do in the city. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would highly recommend!

Zirrell was a wonderful host. She always responded and her instructions were very thorough. She was also very understanding when our flight got delayed and we checked in later than expected. The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. It was a wonderful stay!

We had a great time here. The place is really cozy and located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of stuff in walking distance. Totally worth it.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Crazy clean, super breezy place to stay. Neighborhood is fine, but not a lot of amenities. But it was a great place for us to be.

We enjoyed staying at Kaye's place and felt right at home. It was perfect for visiting our son, who also lives in Rogers Park. We've come to love this neighborhood: It's so peaceful, and within walking distance of Lake Michigan and good places to eat. Kaye's garden apartment is on a quiet street and has a very secure entry. The photos are accurate, but if anything it is actually more spacious than it looks. Kaye is a generous host: There’s plenty bottled water, plenty of towels, comfortable bed linens. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little spot! So close to the blue line, necessities nearby, great for a quick solar work trip. Bed is small and a little uncomfortable, and some things were a little off (medicine cabinet not fully attached to wall), but neither bothered me. Knew bed would be small from photos! Just a heads up for anyone that would worry about those. Will definitely be staying again if in Chi!

I brought my family of 7 to Chicago looking for a nice home to stay at and Daniel’s house exceeded our expectations! It was very spacious and clean with lots of entertainment. The kids loved the arcade machine and the connect 4. Having a tv in every room was also such a great add on for everyone. The bathrooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. I had a question about the wifi and the host was very quick to respond and help. We highly recommend!
