Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Woodford

Two bedroom house that worked well for our family weekend. Residential area so quite quiet, and on-road parking available. Everyone felt comfortable here and would be happy to visit again.

We had a great few days at Johan's place - it was perfect for our group of two couples. We used it both a base for getting into central London and as a spot to hunker down and relax. Johan was friendly and responsive - a great host!

5/5 Stars - A Home Away from Home! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Melanie's beautiful Airbnb, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is absolutely precious, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The location is fantastic, with a Tesco just around the corner and the railway station within walking distance. It's the perfect base for exploring the area, and Melanie's thoughtful recommendations were spot on. Melanie is an exceptional host - friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. Her attention to detail and kindness made all the difference to our trip. Dave’s place has a well designed and tastefully presented interior. It has a superbly equipped kitchen and a very pleasant dining area, and the bathroom and bedrooms to the matching high standard. It has been renovated to a very high specification with high quality furniture, materials and fittings and pleasant decorations. And there was no shortage of phone charging points and cables in all rooms. It has good access to London underground and it is within a walking distance from a Lloyd park and Walthamstow Wetlands. Dave was always very responsive, just a message away for any queries and we felt well looked after while having all of our own privacy. The house was a pleasure to stay in. It was a home from home stay. I wish we knew about it before, but now when we do we’ll come again. Thank you Dave!

Had the absolute BEST time at Laurel House! The place was spotlessly clean, welcoming, and very well-equipped. We brought things we didn't even use, as there was a welcome pack of supplies! It really feels like a home. Tina was so lovely to us, and super flexible with check in when we got lost on the way. Any questions we had were answered so quickly and helpfully! She had loads of recommendations about travelling to the place and then onto the city centre. The house was absolutely fabulous, so much space and perfect for all weather with the garden! The area felt super safe, with lots of space on the drive for our big car. The house was really easy to get to from outside London as well, being right next to the M25. It's also in an excellent position for travelling into the city centre, with frequent buses, trains and tube links in all directions. We even managed to get back on public transport in the early hours after a concert. We truly had the best holiday, 11/10 would stay again

Amazing London flat! BEST check in (with John) we’ve ever had at Airbnbs- he is amazing & u will want him to stay & socialize after he aptly explains home features & mini instructions! Public transit is close & walkable from flat which is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore London!

Great host. I have always wanted to stay in Notting Hill and having an apartment so close to all the shops and sights in the neighbourhood was always what I wanted. The place was very clean for a London flat. My wife felt right at home with all the kitchen amenities well stocked. Shane and Jedidias were very responsive as hosts.

Venetia’s flat is absolutely adorable! Quiet neighborhood in a great location, with super easy access to restaurants, shops, and of course buses and overground trains. All three bedrooms have very comfortable beds and nice linens, and the kitchen is fully outfitted. The sitting room is comfortable and light-filled, and the garden is quite lovely. The only downsides were the finicky Nespresso machine (could have been user error) and the lack of a clothes dryer (notwithstanding what the listing says). Venetia is super nice and very responsive. All in all I would definitely stay at Venetia’s flat again!

Glyn's flat was great, really well located and had all we needed. It was clean and spacious, and Glyn went out of his way to provide us with everything we needed for our toddler too. Highly recommend!

Sarah’s place was home from home for our son’s graduation. Sarah was a great host - property very easy to find, peaceful area, very comfortable and as described. Sarah was very responsive. We are planning our next trip!

Laura’s place was perfect for our needs, visiting family close by. The flat was spotless, supplied tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar, salt and pepper which amazingly some Airbnb’s don’t. Very comfortable stay. Walking distance from Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye park. Both beautiful open spaces. Good shopping and restaurants close by.

This flat was the perfect place for my family of four. It’s conveniently located to a tube station, shops, and wonderful bakeries and cafes. The flat was really lovely inside, and was very comfortable to hang out together. The outside patio enhanced the vibe of the place, and was perfect for breakfast in the morning and wine at night. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you Marc and Yvonne!

Notting Hill Glow was exactly as described. On a busy street, but wooden bedroom doors filter almost all of the nighttime noise. Not having air conditioning was not an issue for us as daytime highs were under 80 degrees and nighttime was cooler, but I can imagine it could be uncomfortable if temperatures reached the 90s. We were able to walk to several great restaurants and pubs. Comfortable bed.

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

Julia’s place is spacious, beautiful, clean and an easy commute for us due to the Elizabeth line train station less than 5 mins walk from the house. Julia was responsive for any questions and we will definitely book again when visiting London.
