Quiet as country, one minute from great coffee

Charmingly eccentric, very comfortable and spacious two-bedroom shack set in an elegant sweep of hedged garden shaded by a giant pin-oak tree. Lounge in summer shade or snuggle by the fire in winter. All the quiet and privacy of a country cottage only two minutes' stroll to the V-Line railway station, five minutes more to the cafes, pubs, regular markets and shops of Woodend village and a network of gorgeous nature walks.

Comfortable, clean, cosy, peaceful and self-contained one room studio/cabin. Riddells Creek is a quiet small town in lovely surrounding countryside and views of the Macedon Ranges. Close to well-known tourist areas. PLEASE NOTE: I have set a 2 night minimum stay and this is what i prefer. However in special circumstances i will consider a 1 night booking if necessary, for some reason - send me a message to discuss it.

One of the best Airbnb places we have stayed. Malcolm and Marina were so warm and welcoming. From the transport to the accommodation, the fresh bread on arrival, to allowing us to feed the horses apples, we could not fault their hospitality. Communication with Malcolm was easy and fast, and he provided excellent local recommendations for food. The Airbnb was cosy, clean and secluded with ultimate privacy. We had a wonderful weekend and can’t thank them enough.

What a wonderful stay we had at The Stables! It is gorgeously styled, so comfortable and we didn’t need anything! Ursh and Pete are fantastic hosts with so much local knowledge and recommendations! We had a wonderful time at Lilah's place. It was so clean and cosy and we felt right at home. Her place is beautiful and she makes it so welcoming with lots of local recommendations and fresh bread, milk and jam in the fridge as well as fully stocked coffee pods - all lovely touches which we were very grateful for! The house is a short walk from town where there's so much to do. We will definitely be back :))

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Nicole was an excellent host too.

We stayed at Leighan's place for the Woodend Winter Arts Festival, which was close to all the venues, shops and cafes. I was cold and rainy and Leighan's place offered a snuggly warm retreat with a beautiful gas fire in between events. It was a clean, cosy, retreat after a weekend of classical music, inspiring lectures, and delicious food and the local cafes. Highly recommended!
