It has a fully equipped kitchen to create your own meals or you have the option of heading out to Gallery Walk and choosing from a range of cafes or restaurants just a short stroll Rest a While Chalet is located at the back of Gallery Cafe, take the driveway to the right of the cafe and follow directions down to the rear of the property Access includes the Chalet and the lockup garage (remote control is located in chalet ) This is your private weekend and unless you need us we will not disturb you On check in you will be given a phone number to call should you require any assistance There is a booklet in the chalet with information including local emergency phone numbers and a range of brochures for you to help plan your time spent on the mountain From this chalet nestled in a peaceful rainforest garden, just steps away are the wineries, boutique craft shops, cafes, and restaurants of Mount Tamborine's famous Gallery Walk. Theme parks and the hub of the Gold Coast are only half an hour by car. There is limited public transport on Tamborine Mountain so you will require a vehicle to travel to different locations around the mountain but the chalet is located right in the Hub of shops/cafes/restaurants so there is plenty to see and do all within a very short walking distance If you require a taxi at anytime is is best to pre-book as there is only 1 taxi on the mountain Please note that cereals,a range of bread, bottled water, tea/coffee and milk will be provided for your stay
