We had a lovely weekend in Mcgregor what a beautiful house it had everything we needed and it was spacious, the pool was great to have to beat the summer heat. The kitchen has everything you need for a braai and plenty of seating areas to sit back and relax both inside and out. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended! Views are to die for, better described as magical. Host was very attentive. Witsand is the perfect spot to unwind and really feel like you are on holiday. We'll be back!

Great place to unwind. Comfortable living area for socializing. Nice hiking in the area. Wonderful sunsets in the valley. Pool is a bit small and doors are not well secured for windy days.

Lovely wee place full of character. Just a short stay but did exactly what I needed it to!

This house is magnificent! Ideal for families that want to spend quality time cooking, having a braai and chilling by the pool. The house has everything you need and more! The interior is stunning! It is cosy and private and has all the extra’s that makes the stay worthwhile. We had great weather so we could just walk across to the lovely beach. Colleen is a wonderful host. A must visit Airbnb!

Beautiful property, very well appointed. It’s right on the beach - we saw whales and a superpod of dolphins. We really hope to be back soon!

We highly recommend this beautiful spacious home with its gorgeous ocean view. The veranda’s got lovely furniture to enjoy your relaxing time outside. The house is clean & well equipped. That fireplace is so amazing! Not sure who had more fun, us or our border collie! We’ll be back.

We had a beautiful stay in Struisbaai over Mother’s Day weekend. Even with two sick kids and a Saturday storm, we found the house to be absolutely perfect for time spent together as a family. The indoor braai is massive, the appliances are beautiful, and the view is magical. We watched the waves crash for hours and applauded each night when the lighthouse shone its first light. We’d happily have stayed longer, and will be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede - as a plantswoman myself, the garden must've been my favourite part of the whole property. Expansive, wild and prescribed a slower temporal pace I found incredibly fruitful. The cottage itself was delightful too, where we spent most of the chilly evenings by the fireplace. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again!

Cape Creek Cottage is a lovely family holiday home. There is ample space for two families, with multiple living areas and facilities. Top of our list were the outdoor braai area, indoor living room, kitchen and the games room & loft. The kitchen is well equipped (and knives are sharp- which I appreciated!). The beds were super comfortable. The beach is an easy stroll from the house. A long walk at low tide is highly recommended. Struisbaai has everything you need- charming harbour eatery, supermarkets, good coffee and more. If we’re back in the area we will book again! Thanks Ben & Charlotte

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—spacious, clean, and instantly felt like home. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the water with a perfect jetty. We rented a boat and had so much fun exploring the area. Communication with Madi was excellent—she was super helpful and even arranged for wood to be delivered for us. The neighbours were lovely too, which just added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!

Our time here was truly exceptional. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the friendliness of the local community, created a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Elaine comprehensive instructions, including the video guide, greatly facilitated our arrival and ensured a seamless check-in process. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably equipped and modern, which significantly enhanced our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. This is a jewel of a place for social gatherings! We we're a large group of 10 adults and 4 children and we stayed in great comfort with more than enough space. The house is open and full of light and has excellent flow. It is fitted with everything you could need including excellent appliances and top of the line casserole dishes, 2 barbecue areas and a fireplace that heats up the whole house. The beds are very comfortable and the water pressure strong & super hot when needed. The outdoor area is massive enough to play cricket and slopes to the river where sunrise and sunset is just magical! The host went out of his way to provide us with extras and everything we needed was right at hand. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered, a really lovely human! We can't wait to go back. Thank you!!!

We would have loved to stay longer in this charming place, loved the quirky decor and comfortable beds. The dinner recommendations were extremely helpful and we had a delicious dinner

Spent the Easter weekend here and worth the while to switch off, relax, enjoy some fishing, walkable area and safe!

Leigh’s house has unparalleled views of the river estuary. The home is very well appointed and in a secure estate. It’s close enough to moor your boat at the Breede river lodge which is very convenient. We will be back again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay! Nico was a great host - super helpful and accommodating and they made us feel welcome and at home. The location is great - easy access to the beach. Lovely sea view from the living area and balcony. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be back soon!

We had such a wonderful week at the Breathe cottage. It is so cute and the views over the river were just wonderful. Had coffee in bed looking out over the river and braai in the evening on the stoep watching the sun go down. The house was so well kitted with utensils and everything and more that you might need. We were sad to leave!

The pictures dont do the house justice, because you just cant feel the homely atmosphere you get when you walk in and stay there. We had the most amazing time at the house, and everything we needed was available from food, to entertainment, to a camp cot! An absolute gem and we will be back next year
