Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Winterthur District

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

It feels like home, Mathias and Christine are adorable and very kind. I'll go back there in a second. I recommend it without so much as a second thought.

All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. Rosmarie welcomed us nicely, Neftenbach had more to offer than expected & the accommodation was just the right thing for the transit through Switzerland at a fair price.

Kind, helpful, precise, she made the entire stay perfect, taking care not only of any aspect related to the home but also providing valuable advice and support for activities in the surroundings and for local life. The photos of the property fully reflect the state of the studio apartment. The nearby train station also makes it particularly convenient to reach the most central areas of Zurich. Very well located placr in Winterthur, you can go anywere from there since the bus stop is very close.

Daniel and Monika are great hosts, very responsive and attentive. Accommodation is as described, very well-equipped, especially for cooking. The place is beautiful and located in a peaceful location. The small terrace is a real plus and the parking beach too😊! I recommend it without hesitating!

Bujar and his wife were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The apartment was recently renovated and had all new appliances and furniture. Everything was wonderful.

Martina & her husband were absolutely amazing they picked us up from the train station so we had no trouble finding the place. She also made us maps and frequently checked in on us to make sure we had all the info we needed. They even came to see us the last night to make sure we had no more questions. 10/10 definitely will be staying here if again I make it back to Switzerland. Train station is also very close and easy to walk to.

This was one of the BEST apartments I have ever stayed in! It was so cozy and had everything needed for the perfect stay. It was truly the most well stocked apartment I’ve ever stayed in! The fact that it’s technically an attic makes it so charming, especially with the high wooden ceiling and view of surrounding cottages. Both the bed and couch were comfy, and we saved a lot of money cooking at home! We didn’t use the loft, but it’s yet another cute addition to the apartment. Gianna is an incredibly kind and friendly host, and she really made sure we felt welcomed. And before I even realized it, her husband had carried my 50lb luggage up the long winding stairs that led to the apartment! The only single downside is that the apartment is not in the city center so buses and trains have to be used, but the bus stop is across the street! It is well worth staying here, and I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone! ♥️

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and very close to the airport. The bus stop to the airport was a five minute ride and the actual stop was only 800 feet from the apartment. The host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. It was great to be able to do some laundry before we flew home. There were several grocery stores very close to the apartment along with bakeries. I would definitely recommend staying apartment.

Was at the sporting event in Rapperswil. The accommodation is close to the train station, where you can go in all directions. Optimal. The accommodation is very quiet. Everything was fine. Thank you, Jana and many nice guests.

We were able to enjoy 3 very nice days with the lovely hosts. After a friendly welcome and a thorough check-in, we were well informed about the accommodation and all the possibilities. After 7 weeks in Europe, Malonda made our last day a very comfortable and functional departure lodging for a quick drive to ZRH!! She is a great host!! It was one of the best equipped lodgings during our whole time.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment in Wetzikon. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The apartment itself is incredibly spacious and was presented to an impeccably high standard – it was clean, modern, and very welcoming. The location could not have been better for us. It’s situated in a lovely, quiet area, yet it's just a stone's throw away from everything you need. A short, 3-minute walk took us to both an Aldi supermarket and the train station, which made exploring the region incredibly easy. We also loved being just a short stroll away from the beautiful lake. The dedicated parking space in the garage was a fantastic and very useful bonus. The apartment was exceptionally well-equipped. We made good use of the washing machine, which is a real plus for a longer stay. Having two showers was a great feature for our family, adding a level of convenience that you don't always find. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

A very spacious place, just a 10-minute train ride to the city center/Zurich Main Station and less than a 3-minute walk to supermarkets. Sergio was very responsive to any issues or questions—we got the missing shower gel resolved promptly the next day. Highly recommended!
