Apartment holiday rentals in Winterthur District

Apart from very nice hosts, the place is great! Very nicely located, close to the highway and still quiet, free parking for our vehicle, all what we need in place. One of few all-in locations that fits us beautifully! I fully recommend for short or longer stays.

Bernhard is a wonderful host, accommodative and helpful. He is prompt and proactive with his communication and gives guidelines and recommendations if you require. I will recommend his apartment. The only caveat is that his apartment is a bit away from the Zurich main city but it is very well connected by public transport.

Staying with Helin's parents has been such a great experience—they're super friendly, helpful and responsive. The house and Helin's room are really comfy too. Getting around is easy too—the bus station is just a few minutes from the house.

Die Familienwohnung von Lisa und ihrer Familie ist äusserst gut gelegen, kinderfreundlich eingerichtet und wunderbar empfehlenswert für Familienferien mit kleineren Kindern. Lisa ist sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es ist sehr schön konnten wir unsere Herbstferien in der Wohnung/Umgebung verbringen. Ich kann es einfach nur von Herzen weiterempfehlen

This was our second time staying at Roberto’s beautiful place, and again we had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful- everything was set up for us, with lots of Swiss chocolate treats as a welcome. Roberto checked in several times to see if we needed anything. The location is perfect in beautiful downtown of Oberwinterthur and short walk to bus station to Winterthur and main train station. Roberto’s kindness and care was very much appreciated!

Wir (2 Erw, 2 Kids (7 und 3) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt in dieser gemütlichen Gartenwohnung und tolle Tage verbracht. Die Lage ist ein idealer Ausgangsort für Ausflüge in der Region Zürich/Winterthur und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sollte es uns wieder einmal in diese Region ziehen, kommen wir gerne wieder.

What a gem! Newly renovated apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Walk to the next bus station (4’), walk to the main train station (10’) or walk to the next grocery store (6’) - in short everything is close by but the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The communication with the host was fast and easy. We highly recommend it.

Dear Olja Thank you for all supported I love the room very modern and big But it would be lovely u can read messages and answer not as soon as u can I just have to wait for the next day because it’s really need help But thank you it was perfect u keep helping to get the Aircoditioner But I can say the room ist top model abd really private I was happy for stay there and Collings Bed regards

Martina & her husband were absolutely amazing they picked us up from the train station so we had no trouble finding the place. She also made us maps and frequently checked in on us to make sure we had all the info we needed. They even came to see us the last night to make sure we had no more questions. 10/10 definitely will be staying here if again I make it back to Switzerland. Train station is also very close and easy to walk to.

Fantastischer zuvorkommender Gastgeber mit einem grossen Herz aus Gold. Die Villa Bavaria ist sehr sauber und geräumig, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts in diesem Haus. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, der grosse Garten lädt ein um eine Tasse Tee auf der schönen Terrasse zu trinken. Christian war jederzeit erreichbar und hat immer innerhalb von wenigen Minuten geantwortet, wenn ich Fragen hatte. Der sehr gut angeschlossene Bahnhof ist in einer Gehminute erreichbar, wie auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Apotheke und Restaurant. Zürich ist in nur 15 Minuten mit dem Zug erreichbar, top Lage. Ich kann Christian als Gastgeber wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder sein Gast sein wollen.

Wir waren für 1 Wochenende in der Wohnung von Stefan. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Langstrasse, also zwar etwas lauter, dafür ist man mittendrin. Die Kommunikation mit Stefan war sehr unkompliziert.

Nice and quiet apartment with beautiful trails nearby and grocery stores that’re at a walkable distance. Ivan & Mauro also setup the travel pack n play crib for our daughter which as pretty helpful. The hosts are very responsive and provided very clear instructions for checking in, parking and checkout making everything easy. Even though they had setup a pedestal fan for us, the apartment got a bit hot and we had to vent out the patio door in the night for it to cool down. Overall it’s a pretty convenient apartment to stay in Zürich.

Lovely stay for a few nights, would definitely recommend Ana’s place.

Joys Apartment is like time traveling, it’s originally 70/80ies but extremely well kept - everything is working perfectly despite being obviously heavily used over the years. It was also extremely clean, never seen auch a clean Airbnb before. There is a bar in the basement but 100% quit. What is not so quit are the neighbors that kept running through the staircase all night. But this can be different for every stay since this is a boarding house. The only downside I can think of is the sometimes slow and somehow random communication with Joy. It was not always easy to get a helpful answer right away. Nevertheless Joy was very nice and let us stay a bit longer on our departure day which helped us a lot. Thank you Joy! Until next time!

The place was very spacious for two people, it has an amazing view of rhe Constance area & the lake from rooftop balcony which also has a hot tub-it was a great addition and we used it every day. The location is good and easy to access the main locations on foot, is about 20 mins walk to the lake so if this is a problem for you then maybe look to stay closer. The circular stairs to the upper level are tight but ok, just remember to watch your head as i am 6 foot plus and hit it a few times! The unit was fully equipped plus light & bright. The upstairs bedroom did get hot (in summer) but was ok, the bed is big and very comfortable. There was a wine fridge with drinks for purchase which was a nice touch. Overall the place was very much as described & as per the pictures, and the hosts were proactive and very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others

The place was so nice and Bruno was very helpful! The rooftop patio is lovely. Horgen is a very cute town and it was so easy to get everywhere as the train was very close.

Petit studio cozy et bien équipé.Propre,parfait pour passer une nuit. Emplacement idéal par raport au stade Letzigrund. Linus a été très réactif et a répondu a toutes mes demandes.
