Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Winston County

Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed for the weekend. A big group of us stayed here, and the home exceeded our expectations in every way—incredible place.

Love the community. We have stayed at various houses in the area and thought this was one of the best values and places we’ve stayed. Very quiet the week we were there.

We recommend this vaca spot and would love to return again! Having games and rooms downstairs gave our younger folks some privacy and us too!! The kitchen was so convenient and everything was so beautiful!!!

Leigh Anne was an amazing host! She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The delicious cinnamon rolls she left as a welcome gift were such a sweet treat! The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! Every room was gorgeous, cozy and felt so well thought out. We had our family Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed (pots,pans, cutting boards, knives, serving utensils etc). The property was breath taking. There were so many places to hike, fish, relax, play and soak it all in! It was an amazing trip (my sister got engaged on the trip so that was special too)!! We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place! Perfect location on the water. Easy sloping yard down to the water with NO STAIRS! The house was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. We loved the place so much we have already booked a return trip for this summer!

Susan’s home was lovely and welcoming. Easy to get to compared to a lot of homes we have stayed in at Smith Lake. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved the extras like box fans bc we love a fan and most don’t provide those. Everything you would need in a kitchen with the bonus of condiments, plastic bags, aluminum foil, etc. the things you usually don’t have. Water bonuses too like sunblock, floats and life jackets. The bathrooms were modern and beautiful. We will be back to stay, hopefully this summer!

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

This place is one of our favorites, our second trip here and it is a fantastic place. Clean, lots. of extras in the house, excellent views and easy to get to. Love the house and dock. Mr.Bill is very responsive if you need him (we did not need anything) Always checks on us to make sure our stay is going great. Great Host! We will return hopefully soon.

This is the second time we’ve stayed with Steve & Mechelle. This particular suite is roomier than the tiny homes on their property, with two different porches. Unlike the tiny houses, you’re in the same overall structure as your hosts. The interior decor of this unit is very tasteful and impressive. (I want them to redecorate my house.) Some of the furniture is artisan. Their dogs are so friendly and sweet. The goats are nice to pet. The male peacock is quite beautiful as well. We love hiking in the surrounding area, so we’ll probably be back.

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

We have stayed with Joan for a couple of different stays. All of them have been tremendous stays. She is a great host that goes above and beyond to make your stay a great experience. I highly recommend staying at any of her rentals if you are ever in the area.

Perfect place to stay for close access to Smith Lake Park. Boat trailer parking was easy right outside the front door and outside electrical hookup for batteries. Great little spot to stay at Smith Lake.

We were there for a wedding in Birmingham and the condo was easy on and off to 65 south into the city. The condo itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean. Rhonda was responsive and easy to deal with!!

This place is great! Very private and walkable to multiple bars and downtown attractions. Made the strawberry festival that much better

the condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary! can't wait to go back! the host was responsive to me within minutes of reaching out to her. 5 stars for sure!!

Condo needs updating and some maintenance but it was a great stay Loved the ground floor for easy access. The condo was very clean Easy checkout.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! Everything we needed was there, and the condo matched the pictures perfectly. Also, we were able to communicate easily with the host. My favorite part was that it was spotless! We would definitely stay here again!
