Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Winston County

What a fantastic place! Perfect location on the water. Easy sloping yard down to the water with NO STAIRS! The house was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. We loved the place so much we have already booked a return trip for this summer!

Leigh Anne was an amazing host! She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The delicious cinnamon rolls she left as a welcome gift were such a sweet treat! The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! Every room was gorgeous, cozy and felt so well thought out. We had our family Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed (pots,pans, cutting boards, knives, serving utensils etc). The property was breath taking. There were so many places to hike, fish, relax, play and soak it all in! It was an amazing trip (my sister got engaged on the trip so that was special too)!! We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

My family's stay at White Oak was just what we all needed. Situated on a lake, the views were magical. The large windows & back porch captured the natural beauty and the tranquil surroundings. This location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is near Bankhead National Forest with many scenic trails and waterfalls that are easy to hike with small kids, then you can return to the house and hop on the peddle boat or enjoy some smores by the outdoor fire pit. The house was clean and updated, & the hosts were very responsive.

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

We had a great stay after Christmas! It was cozy and had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the screened porch with beautiful view and tv. We definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful location and very nice house. Lots of waterfalls on both sides of the creek. Biggest downside is that the kitchen is a little small if more than one person is trying to cook and the pantry has limited space if you’re bringing a lot of food. Large refrigerator though. Overall a great location with nice porches and lots of space. The close proximity to the Clear Creek Recreation Area made it easier than usual to get the canoe and kayak in and out of the water. (About 2 miles by boat.)

This place was great and so was Steve. Our stay was cut short due to a storm that caused a power outage but up until that time it was perfect. We plan to book again soon!

Sunset Point was wonderful! It was well-adorned, spacious, beautifully-decorated, and in a great location. Having access to the convenient, secure neighborhood boat launch was a big plus. We enjoyed hours of fun with the provided paddle boards, lilly pad, and kayaks. The arcade, games, hot tub, and fire pit (with firewood provided) were also favorites. The master shower was wonderful, the bathrooms were stocked unusually well, and the kitchen boasted of a great island, coffee and waffle bar, and ample staple items. The home offered comfortable living spaces on each of the 3 floors, which was great for our multiple families. The wrap-around back porch offered ample seating and beautiful lake views. Both the inside and outside provided convenient spaces of solitude as well. I especially liked reading my book from a chair positioned between boulders on the way to and overlooking the pier. Bill was very responsive. We loved our time at his beautiful place and highly recommend it! 👍🏻

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Greg’s lovely condo! It’s the perfect location with easy access to launch your boat at Duncan Bridge. The home has everything needed for you stay! Greg went above and beyond to find us a boat slip to use last minute for our stay!

Tucked away in a neighborhood but just blocks from downtown Cullman made this a convenient place to stay for the track meet at the high school. It is on the 2nd floor, in a quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend! Check in and communication was easy and this fit our needs perfectly for a quick two night stay.

Perfect place to stay for close access to Smith Lake Park. Boat trailer parking was easy right outside the front door and outside electrical hookup for batteries. Great little spot to stay at Smith Lake.

I especially appreciated how quiet it was at night—perfect for stargazing or curling up with a book. If you’re looking for a restful, comfortable retreat in nature, I highly recommend this cabin. We had a fantastic stay at this cozy lakeside retreat on Smith Lake! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. Tack Tavern is such a gem! My friend and I had a wonderful overnight stay while visiting a park in the area. Lorna and Dennis were so nice, flexible, and thoughtful. They provided all the little things we needed, and we loved exploring the town and ranch! The animals were so sweet and cute. We also did the hikes on the property and were so impressed by the maintenance and care taken in setting up the trails for everyone to enjoy. Couldn't recommend staying here more!

This felt like lake life meets luxury glamping. We were so impressed when we walked in the door, from the decor to the details. It was a beautiful space to relax and disconnect from the busy of everyday life. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back!

My granddaughter and her fiance stayed and loved it! I was so pleased because I booked it for them to be in town for her baby shower.

If you are looking for an older lake home you can sit back and enjoy, this is your place. The dock with kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, high jump off dock could not have been better. My family had a great time. The only downside is it has MANY steps down to the dock. BUT, the house up on the cliff makes for the million dollar veiw.
