Villa holiday rentals in Windward Islands

We loved our stay. The place is situated in such a special spot. It’s close to the reef break so we’re able to see plenty of whales while still able to enjoy the beach and lagoon. The house is so well curated with local art and has such a special feel to it. It’s feels more like a home with all the beautiful artwork and small touches than a cold hotel with or typical air b&b which we really appreciated. We have been to Moorea several times and will return again and hope to stay here again. The pool and view are wonderful additions to the already spectacular property.

La Villa Tautira is a beautiful place! The description is very accurate…where the mountains meet the sea. The property was great for our family of 5 with ample space and great amenities! We loved the covered patio at the house since we were there during rainy season - we bought a couple puzzles and did them while it poured rain! The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids did some boogie boarding at the beach about 8 km from the house- they loved it. It’s definitely remote, but the drive going either route is really beautiful so we didn’t mind…it gives you a great perspective on Tahiti culture and lifestyle. We did a fishing trip on our last day and the neighbor came over and helped cut it into sashimi then gave them the other filet! Ornella is a great communicator and we Really appreciated the early check in and late check out given our flight times!

A big thank you to Joselita for her 5-star welcome! Small touches, drinks and above all a lot of kindness. The house is amazing in terms of its size, setting and amenities. As far as cleanliness is concerned, I've never seen anything like it. Everything was spotless! In short, one of our best experiences on this site. But don't go there without so much as a second thought because the setting is splendid!

Loved staying here - very clean and comfortable home. Great location and close to good food and beautiful views. Host was extremely nice and quickly got back to us when we had questions. Would highly recommend this place if wanting an Airbnb on Moorea.

Beautiful Airbnb. There was a moment where there was a power outage and the water stopped working as well during the outage for some reason, but that only lasted about 3 hours and the were communicating with us along the way. Not much you can do when that happens on an island! (: there were clean towels everywhere, all needed kitchen supplies, bug spray (HUGE BONUS), WiFi worked great, and the owner left us fresh fruit which was so kind. The air conditioning works GREAT. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

The villa is located a 5-10min drive from the center of Papeete, very convenient to take the ferry, do activities, go to eat at the restaurant, go for a drink. The pool, the ultra comfortable bedding, the calm, the 3 bathrooms, the amenities including the washing machine, the decoration... everything was perfect! Communication was smooth and quick with the concierge. Very clear check-in instructions, we found the first time!

We very much liked staying in this lovely place. Moorea is a fantastic island, not as touristic as for example Bora Bora and as a result more pure and quiet. The nature of and on the island is very special and so is this lovely house. The location is on the bit more quiet south part of the island, but the north is also not very busy. It is located on a small gated part of a small bay with superb views on the lagoon where you can see black tip sharks circling around for hours right from the terrace. Which is also a good place when it rains. The pool is a delight and so were all the toys the kids found everywhere in the house. We didn’t hear them for hours. You cannot swim from the house as it is muddy and at places not more than 10cm deep depending on tide. But they have three kayaks you can use, so the whole family will fit. You can head out (try to follow the canal otherwise you get stuck on the coral) on the lagoon and if lucky like us, you might encounter dolphins.

Stop looking and book this house! Beautiful, clean, spacious, spectacular views, great location. Only hope we are lucky enough to return some day!

We were worried the pictures wouldn’t match the real place We were happy to be wrong, there are no words for how stunning the views were The kitchen is stocked with anything you need to cook, the pool is a comfortable temperature and the bed is comfortable. Wonderful stay .

This home couldn’t have been more perfect for our group of 15. Plenty of space, private beach right in our backyard, quiet, friendly neighbors. We took the kayaks out and snorkeled every day. Our next door neighbor invited the boys in our group to come over and they showed them how to open coconuts and drink the water. We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. This place was paradise!

Large and spacious villa, ideal for a group of friends. The host is responsive and friendly. We highly recommend.

Amazing location, amazing house right on the water with access to ocean right out your backdoor, great AC in bedrooms, peaceful yet walking distance to stores and restaurants. Caroline was exceptional with assisting with planning activities while we stayed there. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful house, amazing location, and impeccable views in the backyard / swimming pool. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The house also has a ton of personality and feels like a real home. Only feedback would be it'd nice if the common areas and living room had AC

Philippe’s house is such a gem! We traveled with 3 adults and 3 small kids and the house was everything we needed. There were gates in the backyard so I didn’t worry about the kids getting down to the water. As others have said, the snorkeling right outside is wonderful. Philippe was an amazing host and was able to accommodate our early arrival and late departure along with a couple other requests we had while we were there. We would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here. Our kids loved going from the pool to the ocean. There is a cat that lives on the property and we have a cat allergy so that was the only down fall. The grass also had lots of pricklies so wear shoes

Very nice apartment with a great view. We enjoyed a very well equipped accommodation. The terrace with the pool and the sea view is a real plus. Chris and Olivier are very responsive and respond quickly to any questions. Rental to recommend without hesitation.

One of our favorite Airbnb stays yet. Such peaceful surroundings that have been meticoulsly maintained and manicured by the owners who live close by. Fruits trees and flowers all over the property. Views out the back out the property are beautiful. Pool was impeccably cleaned and super nice to relax in the afternoon. The house was spotless and beautifully designed. The owners have great taste in their decorations. The owners, our new friends.....Steve and Karine were such nice folks in welcoming us to the island, informing us about local foods and plant life and were always close by in case you had any questions. We enjoyed our time shared with them very much and would consider it one of the best host interactions yet. Also they have three sweet dogs which are fun to be around when they stop by! We couldn't recommend this listing more and we were sad to leave when our time on the island was up. Maruru Roa to Steve and Karine again, it was great to meet you both! 🤙 🙏

This has been my favorite Airbnb ever. Anyone that’s reading this review please book one extra day only to hang out at the place. It is amazing. Come bring some groceries to cook a beautiful meal with the view. Honestly plan on one full day without leaving. This Airbnb is the Jewel of the island.

We spent two days in a peaceful and refreshing setting, nestled on the heights of Puunui. The setting was quiet, ventilated, and conducive to relaxation. A true haven of peace, perfect for reconnecting and enjoying the serenity of the place. Mauruuru!

Fantastic, what a pleasure to find such a quality accommodation with exceptional hosts... The house is extremely well equipped, bright with an incredible view... Our stay could not have been more perfect... The pool is also very pleasant.. A public beach is nearby.. I can only recommend Bernadette and Moise's house... Go there with your eyes closed ..
