Oh my where to start!! Do not stay anywhere else besides here!! Dixie is an all star host! Extremely accommodating, makes the most delicious cookies, has the most beautiful, relaxing home, a beautiful pond that’s fully stocked of fish, has an adorable doggy named huckleberry that gets the zoomies, she was so fast at answering questions, asking what we needed, and even brought down a fire pit & the sticks for the kiddos to make s’mores, my friends from Florida & Indiana said they will 100% be booking again! Thank you so much Dixie for making our first meet up an outstanding one!! 🫶🏼 I might even just book to stay here for a night away from my own house even tho I live in town, it’s that good!!! So don’t waste time book here!!!

Tyler was an incredible host. He accommodated our last minute booking and welcomed us and our fur babies. Tyler was responsive and kind. The home was clean with a pleasant smell. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were genuinely surprised with the size of the living space and felt right at home. The kitchen snack box and the bathroom necessity boxes were so thoughtful. The animal toy/blanket bin, coffee/tea station, and board game collection were highlights. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

We absolutely loved staying here!! Very clean and quiet, peaceful and beautiful!! Everything we needed was at the place and everything was super cute and very clean. I really appreciated Tammy’s little binder of instructions and recommendations for places to go and enjoyed the coffee bar. They really thought of everything!! Pictures looked like the stairs were outside, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they are indoors. I will say for future guests, GPS (we use the Waze app) lead us to a completely different private address. We passed the street the place was on so I easily knew where to go, just don’t trust GPS! Street sign is very visible thankfully and be prepared for gravel roads and a fun backwoods experience with gorgeous scenery. We loved it, so breathtaking, secluded and just what we needed! Would definitely stay here again!

Rae has a very cute but small 2 bedroom bungalow in the center of Murphysboro. The master bedroom is large though and very comfortable with a great bed. The second bedroom has a smallish bed/cot not as comfortable. If you’re sensitive to light in the morning this place might not be the best because the windows are not fully covered. All in all a very nice, clean place in a great part of town

Phyllis was wonderful, kind, and inviting. check in and out was quick and painless. furniture is comfortable and she allows pets for a still reasonable price! plenty of space for the dogs to run and the place is perfectly placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle in town but close enough to run to the store if you need somrthing!

The place was exactly as listed. Very clean, quiet and spacious. Will definitely consider staying here again when coming back to the area. (Highly recommend Martel's Pizza! 4 minutes down the street)

Anna's listing was just as described. Nice place out of town. Anna was very friendly and responsive. She worked with me on entrance due to a funeral; which I greatly appreciated!

We stayed here while in town for a family graduation and it was a perfect spot to rest in between celebrations. The space was clean and comfortable, and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great experience overall. Thanks Amanda for being a great host.

Our family had a wonderful time and had everything we needed in Rhi's home. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 both indoors and out. The kitchen had ample cooking utensils, pots & pans, condiments & spices. We also had plenty of cabinet space to store the food we brought in. All beds were very comfortable. For those with little children, there was also a bedroom through one of the ones in the basement with no windows! Would have been perfect for little ones to sleep! Outside there was a fantastic covered dock where we were able to use for my husband's boat. The kids really enjoyed the lily pad and slide in the lake! The area is private and quiet and we enjoyed every minute!

Rebecca was an amazing host to work with! She was very accommodating and responded promptly to all messages! The property was cozy and had enough space for everyone. The sunsets were beautiful!!!

My sisters and I came to Carbondale for our family reunion. We wanted to just be us because we all live in different states. I found Laura's home on this website and fell in love. Her home looked EXACTLY like the picture! It was a little far out but it was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! It's was so relaxing and peaceful. Laura was also a GREAT host! She checked on us to make sure we were ok and made herself available if we needed her. Did I mention she had snacks available for the kids!?!! That was so sweet of her to do that!! Her home was very clean and spacious. I would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone that plans to visit the area or to anyone that just needs a peaceful weekend getaway. You will NOT be disappointed!! I definitely plan to book this location again!!

JR was quick to respond and friendly. We went there for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Could easily do 6 people. The porch swing was really comfortable sitting on at night enjoying lake life. The covered pier was awesome! Electric to plug in our boats, lighted and a nice little fish cleaning station. It was a great deal and we hope to go back again soon!!

Our stay at this lake house was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. The living room’s large windows, provided breathtaking views of the lake. It had every appliance and utensil we needed, along with thoughtful extras like spices, oil, and coffee filters. The bathrooms were equipped with ample towels and toiletries. We enjoyed peaceful mornings on the deck, sipping coffee, cruising the lake, and watching the wildlife. The quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!!

The house is super cute, the layout is so weird but cool. There is a step down from the master bedroom, clear signs that there is a step, but we both fell on our faces haha master bed is super high up, they provide a step stool. This house is not for anyone that cannot handle stairs. It is a workout walking down to the lake and back up. They provide a charcoal grill. But make sure you bring your own starter or fluid. They provide a fire pit but bring your own wood. There is a propane grill but bring your own propane. Only downside was we could not park the truck and boat in the drive way, and had to use the grass. It is not very easy to park a boat trailer in this area. The patio in back was amazing, very cozy. Fell asleep watching and listening to the rain. Kitchen is well stocked with all cookware, lots of condiments left on the fridge from past guests. AND the best part- the sound system!!!! We loved this place and hope to come back soon.

My family and I had a great stay! The property was extremely clean and comfortable; we had everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen was very well-appointed, we had everything necessary to prepare dishes for the family reunion that brought us to Marion. The neighborhood itself was peaceful, well-maintained, and close enough to restaurants and shopping to be convenient by car. Amanda herself was very responsive and kind; I would not hesitate to stay at this property should I require a place in the Marion area.
