This was probably the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date. Cannot say enough good things about the place! Modern, beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, attention to all the little details, quiet and peaceful, and the dock… that was our favorite part. We had 4 relaxing days on our baby moon here and are already talking about returning. Communication was so quick (within minutes), the hosts were accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you for making our baby moon so memorable! We will be back!

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

What a sensational weekend get away. This cottage had it ALL! Brilliant decor, a kitchen that I would love to have in my own home! Such a well thought out layout and gathering areas for relaxing, eating and playing games. The decor….amazing. The games room, simply spectacular, and the downstairs tv area, just wonderful. The views were off the charts, beautiful, and we had the most incredible weekend. Erika was very accommodating and flexible with check in etc. The kitchen is well stocked and we had an exceptional weekend. Would rent again.

Great cottage for larger groups! Enjoyed the variety of games provided on site. Huge yard for lots of space to play, Dock is secure and has some built in seating. Offers great views while standing around the fire. Walk to fire pit was further away from house then we liked (our only complaint). Bathrooms on each floor was a bonus. Beds on top floor are bigger then the pictures for the bedroom without the balcony. If you have larger group bring lots of bottled water. Signs for a Marina just before getting to the cottage offer ice, wood $10/bag, kindling, snacks, etc.

We stayed 4 nights and had such and amazing stay. Very cozy. Screened porch is a game changer. Hot tub nice. Kayaked around the lake a bunch of times. Very good communication and we both left happy!! Highly recommend!

My friends and I stayed here for Labour Day weekend, probably one of best cottages we have ever been to! Sherry was very quick to respond to any inquiry’s I had and we had so much fun on all the water toys they had available! Though the airbnb is missing some basic things like garbage bags, paper towels, bedsheets and towels it was still a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be back!

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

We stayed at Julie’s for the May long weekend. And we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was quaint, but modern and meticulously clean. And it had everything you could need, dry firewood both inside and outside, seating around a fire pit, we used the beautiful wood burning stove when the weather turned chilly. And the kayak down the river is incredibly quiet and tranquil .., just the sounds of wildlife. A gem of a spot. It was a steep drop from the stairs to the river, so not easy to get the boats in and out if you are not in great shape. We had no issues, but might be a problem if you are elderly. I would highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. There are trails to hike around too and the grocery store and other amenities are close enough. If you have kids, the sodalite mine is perfect for rock hounding enthusiasts! We found so many treasures.

Amazing cottage, host was super friendly. let us check in early and check out late. cottage was super clean and had everything you would need! would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. The cottage is very clean, organized, and spacious, and has an amazing view of the lake from the back deck. Jessica was a great host and offered us some fun suggestions for a rainy day. The cottage also has lots of movies and board games to stay entertained. Everything you need to cook with is available making it easy to prepare meals ( coffee maker, appliances,utensils, toaster ect). During good weather there is lots to do , Hiking , Shopping, Restaurants in Haliburton, we really enjoyed the sculpture museum in Glebe Park. This was our second time booking this cottage and we hope to visit again one day. - Merrissa & Matt

Our first stay at Michelle’s cottage and it hopefully won’t be the last. What a find this place was. Beautiful location, wonderful views and the cottage itself is absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in Lyle’s beautiful cottage for thanksgiving weekend and Loved the place. It was clean, tidy, child friendly as he had kept some board games as well. My 6 year old was super excited seeing the bunk bed in one of the rooms. Moreover the kitchen had almost everything that we needed to cook our meals. The best part of our stay was canoeing in the morning as there were enough canoes, life jackets of each size. Overall, we loved our stay at this place and would recommend our friends. Though it is far from GTA, it was worth the long drive. And Lyle is a great host , very responsive to messages hence I didn’t find any issues in communicating, thanks !.

We had a wonderful countryside stay at this cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin in the woods. The setting was peaceful and truly felt like a getaway into nature. The host was great—friendly and responsive, making our experience even better. It was a very interesting and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely love to come back again!

Our group was very impressed with this cottage. The location is perfect and has beautiful views. The cottage itself is flawless…It had everything our group needed, and more. Chris & Kate were very accommodating and responsive. Fishing off the dock was great. We had to cancel our golf game due to bad weather but the group wasn’t too upset since we had more time to spend at the cottage. I highly recommend this property and host. We will be back again!

Beautiful cottage for a family weekend on the cutest little lake, perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The kitchen was highly stocked with everything you could need and all the beds were very comfortable. Also very relaxing cute sun room off the main living area. Jennifer was a great host would highly recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing time at the Cottage and it is on a prime location right next to the water . You can fish off the dock and we cooked marshmallows over a pit fire . We had meals over looking the lake . The only thing that needed to more specific were the details to the garbage disposal. You need to separate the garbage with compost .recycle and garbage if you are disposing of them . Other than that , we had a fantastic time !!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Nice and clean place, equipped with everything you may need. Open concept is very comfortable with little kids. Zara is a great host, very responsive and caring. We would recommend this cottage and will definitely come back.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!

We stayed here for a few days after our wedding for our "mini-moon" vacation and had the best stay! The weather ended up being perfect for a few days of spending time outside and on the dock in this beautiful spot. Everything you could think of, they had ready for use. We really enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back.
