Fantastic place: very clean, fully equipped kitchen, great bedding, bathrooms spotless with excellent showers, very comfortable tv/den with recent flatscreen display and full cable, etc. 4 private ensuite bedrooms perfect for our golf foursome. Easy walk to town and very quick ride to Royal Dornoch and convenient to all the nearby courses. Outstanding.

Sara was always very responsive with messages. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sara and her Husband - as well as a very good looking rooster in the driveway. The bedroom and bathroom for our use were huge and the bed very comfortable. We wanted to leave early the next morning and Sara was very accommodating with having fresh coffee and pastries ready for our departure. Couldn’t have asked for a lovelier host.

We thoroughly loved our overnight stay at Marichu's place. John was very friendly, helpful and VERY responsive. Loved a chat, so did we! Comfortable bed and clean linen. Bathroom spotless. We enjoyed a meal at the Golpsie Inn and enjoyed a chat with the locals. John prepared the best home-cooked breakfast and the best black pudding. My poached eggs perfect! Outstanding cottage in a stunning location near the coastal path. Highly recommend circular walk coastal to the beach and back by road. Hosts were friendly and could not have been more helpful. Lunch at the Bettyhill cafe, the store bistro and bar was excellent 👍 Superb base to explore the North Coast.

Travelers arriving in Inverness who are here to see the Scottish Highlands...Trust me when I say that you need to get your car and drive to Dornoch and stay with Denise and Nigel. I’ve stayed in simple places and top end luxury hotels, and although I’ve certainly had wonderful hospitality extended to me, this may be the most welcome and comfortable stay I’ve ever had. I arrived nearly 12 hours late due to my flight connection being canceled, I was exhausted from a long trip, and Denise greeted me, chatted with me a bit, fixed me a snack, and helped me get settled. She knew JUST what I needed after a rather difficult trip. It was quiet and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, the room and house tastefully decorated, and the newly finished bathroom was just lovely. I woke up to a view of grazing sheep and the Dornoch Firth after a really restful night’s sleep. Denise helped me put together the perfect day to spend in the area and it was truly delightful. I’m back for a second night as planned. Her breakfast was amazing and the thoughtful touches she provides her guests and her attention to detail will make you wish you could stay here for your entire trip. I’m so grateful I chose this place over all of the others and hope to be back again soon. Thank you so much Denise and Nigel.

This is my first experience of Airbnb and it will certainly not be the last! Christine was very welcoming and helpful during my stay. She was always happy to provide information about the best places to visit in the area. I will definitely return with my Wife and son. I have no problems recommending this place to other who may still be thinking!

Richard and Jane's place is an absolute gem! It's one of our favorite Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The room setup is cozy and immaculate, and the breakfast is incredible. However, what truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Jane and Richard. They are such warm, soulful people who provided us with amazing travel recommendations along the NC500! We left with our bellies and hearts full!

Beautiful place, the surrounding area is stunning on a clear day. The accommodation is comfy, homely and spacious. Breakfast reviews definitely lived up to expectations! My parents and I stayed in the Grey Suite at Burnside B&B while traveling through Scotland. It was a wonderful stay with all the amenities listed, plus we got a delicious cooked to order breakfast. Kacey also included great handmade soaps for the bathroom which smelled wonderful. We regretted not staying longer and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Very nice B&B with view over the harbour and fast and easy to reach by foot from the train station. The room was big and warm, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was great as well (even with a rain shower). Val was a very friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Clare and Phil’s home. The views were stunning, and we got to see seals in the bay. Phil cooked breakfast for us each morning, and he was a delightful host. In addition to having a BnB, they also run a seal rescue, so they are very knowledgeable and great teachers about seals. 🦭 They have two dogs on the property, so if you miss your furry friends, they are in the backyard for cuddles.
