It was an easy walk to downtown, but still felt like you were away enough from the downtown. We enjoyed sitting at the river reading with our books and having a fire. She left us some sweet treats and firewood. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly reccommend

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

Margarita's place had everything we needed, and were looking for for an impromptu weekend getaway. It was close to the Jackrabbit trails, which we enjoyed with friends, and the lake. Plus, we enjoyed a bonus sunset drink, with some great food truck bbq, on the new dock bar! We would definitely stay again.

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. This trip was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday, and exceeded my expectations. We had a great time! One of the best experiences we've had so far. We loved the lake in the backyard. He fished morning, afternoon and night and caught many nice size fish. The pool table was a great addition, after the sun went down. We actually were able to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend, fishing, playing pool, and watching movies as planned and expected. Our hostess was the sweetest. We really enjoyed ourselves and definitely want to come back. Everything was great.

We loved staying at the lake house. It was easy, no agenda, you don’t have to leave! But when we did the leave the area is so fun, there’s a little, hiking nearby, delicious food and amazing views no matter where you. Lake Chatuge is a well hidden secret. Loved every minute. The outdoor space and deck are sprawling.

I decided to book a last-minute getaway—literally on the day of my 30th birthday—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. It was me, my wife, our two kids (11 and 5), and my mom. We were completely stressed trying to get out of the house, but the moment we arrived, all of that melted away. This was, hands down, our best Airbnb stay to date. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. The pool was a huge hit—so much so that we had to practically drag the kids out of it! The lake view was absolutely stunning, and everyone loved their rooms. There’s honestly nothing negative I can say about our experience. The location is perfect—just 5 minutes down the road is Hiawassee Brew, where we enjoyed a great lunch and some local beers. Despite the peaceful setting, you're not isolated at all—there’s even a Dollar General a minute away for any quick needs. Oh, and the Wi-Fi? Solid! The hosts were fantastic: easy check-in, super responsive, and very accommodating

So I met my first love there. Which we haven’t seen each other for 32 years. It was perfect. Romantic but yet fun. Very private. But the host was easily assessable. I highly recommend it.

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

Quick trip from Florida. Great spacious place for the family and pricing was on point comparatively to the surrounding market. Will 100% recommend and book this exact condo in the near future.

Cute 2 bedroom 3 full bath with pull out couch, every room including living area has balcony access. Right in the middle of Helen you can walk to anything! Big daddy’s restaurant near by was great as well!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was better than the photos and had so many cozy areas I didn’t want to leave the house. The house was very clean and the beds slept great. Walkable to places around, including tubing next door, and basically right in the heart of Helen. Loved our stay and will be back!
