Cabin holiday rentals in White Bear Lake

Loved staying in this place on beautiful Lake Fremont. I was in town for a Crossfit competition and booked this stay as it was super close to the gym we’d be competing at. The space was beautiful and very clean. I really appreciated the abundance of towels the hosts provided as between our sweaty workouts and hot tub sessions (amaaaaazing by the way), we went through a few towels! Our stay was in the spring so the lake was still pretty cold, but the host does provide kayaks, a paddleboard, and life jackets so you can make the most of the lake during the summer! I can definitely see this place being a great space for a bachelor/bachlorette/girl’s trip/weekend staycation. Check in/out was very simple. I would absolutely stay here again.

Had an “emergency” booking at the last minute and asked if it was possible to get access early. The hosts responded so quickly and were so accommodating to our request. The place was great with a nice “hangout” area and huge bedrooms. It’s a beautiful view and the hot tub is nice and warm and close to the house. Easy to find and nice and close to the cities but far enough to feel like a vacation!

Great location not to far from the twin cities. It was great that there were kayaks and a canoe there for us to use free of charge. Also, there were instructions for using all of the necessities in the home, like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

Very much enjoyed our stay at The Malbec! It's close enough to town to go do things during the day, and far enough out to feel like you're relaxing in the country. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor space alone was worth every dollar we paid. The interior offered many different sleeping options, none of which felt cramped or out of place for our larger group. There is a store that is a walkable distance away, which made it easy to pick up a few last minute items. Michaela was responsive when we had questions and check in/check out was a breeze. I will absolutely be coming back!

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! It is tucked away from the noise of the city but still super close to the action of restaurants and trails. It's got some nice trees outside and tucked next to the river, you really feel like you're out in nature. We loved the fireplace controlled by the thermostat, easy check in, adorable decorations for the holidays. Mariah was also a helpful host!

5 Stars – A Perfect Getaway! Loondocks Lake House was everything we hoped for and more! The home is exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The setting is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing escape. The host was incredibly welcoming and made everything easy from start to finish. If you’re looking to make lifetime memories with family or friends, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We changed our plans last minute and decided not to stay in a hotel for a soccer tournament (USA Cup) that my son's team was competing in. We had been traveling all summer for our children's activities and thought it would be nice to try to make this into a family vacation and have a home base where the kids could relax and play, and we could bring our dog. Katie's home was perfect. The views were amazing. The neighbors were super friendly. We only wished we had more down time during the week to enjoy it.

I needed a place to be alone and rest in a quiet and peaceful place. I am a stressed out caregiver and needed some respite. I wanted to be on a lake to look out at and sit by. I found the perfect place! Erika was a wonderful host who had some nice touches to make me feel welcome. I loved the feeling of being in a cabin on a lake but so close to the metro! I had beautiful sunsets! I’d love to return with my grandkids in the summer. There are so many water toys to play on the lake!

I felt like we were back in the days of vintage Minnesota small town lake cabin life. My husband, I and our dog Gus had a great weekend staying here. It was very quiet and serene, we heard lots of birds, and enjoyed watching the lake. The interior was Scandinavian themed and cozy. We appreciated the water and food dishes for Gus and the convenient dog poo bags. We got pizza from Pizza Pub and lunch at Gustav’s. The art gallery next to Gustav’s was very cool. Also hiked at interstate sp and got ice cream in Taylor’s Falls.

We had a great week! The main level was listed as "shared," but no one else was ever there when we were. There were 2 wonderful patios, 1 right off the master bedroom. It was less then a block to Bald Eagle Lake with a small beach. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back!

Great location and the property was even better than described. They thought of everything you would need and then some.

We enjoyed this cabin stay! It’s a nice little place if you want a mix of a peaceful get away but also want to explore the Twin Cities. It’s a small, quaint cabin with easy access to the lake. Neighbors are very close, so it didn’t feel as private as we had hoped, but overall a nice stay. It was a cool weekend but if it had been hot, it might be somewhat miserable as the AC doesn’t reach the bedrooms well. Clean & stocked well!

It is clean and so well decorated, comfortable and perfect for a getaway. The view off the porch every morning was so relaxing.

AMAZING cabin. We had a family get away for a couple nights and didn’t want to leave! Great running trails, fishing, comfortable and beautiful home. The fall colors were breathtaking. Tricia was a great host! We really hope that we can come back soon!

Really amazing stay at a rustic and sweet spot on a lake. Sun room is out of this world, it’s on an amazing lot on the lake, and between sauna, paddle boards, fire pit, and just taking it all in we had an amazing time. 10/10, Great Lake get away, hosts are doing great.

We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

Myself, my mother and my three children stayed for 6 nights at Sally’s place. We loved our stay. We were a short drive to Nickelodeon Universe, but most importantly the lake views were just as wonderful as I had imagined. We ate breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the lake. My children loved swimming in the lake off the little sandy beach area. Sally took my three children for a ride in the paddle boat and they loved it. My children loved talking with Sally. Don’t miss out on the relaxing scenery.

This was a fabulous place to stay - just the right size for two, and very cozy - while friends did their own rustic cabin camping in nearby William O'Brien! A side-channel of the St. Croix River is just out the door, with a short hiking trail through the nearby woods, and birds singing their spring songs. It was just what we needed for a quiet respite.
